The Spare Air Kit is a highly essential kit that every diver should consider investing in as it could pretty well save your life during emergency situations.
A little bit of background into the spare air and why we recommend this product is that it is a completely independent, compact emergency air system that was developed for divers to be able to take life-saving breaths during an ascent following an equipment failure or an out of air situation.
The system can also be quickly handed to your buddy or another diver in an emergency, leaving you free and unrestricted by hoses and safety holds to perform your emergency ascent.
The spare air is considered by some to be faster and a safer alternate air source in an out of air emergency than buddy breathing or an octopus.
