@bobrich1950 I caught a 15.75" a few years back, although I've heard reports of them getting to 17-18" there from other people. I've done well with top waters in the river, especially in the summer when the water level gets lower and the current slows down

@ralphyralph.2134 most of the forest preserves in Cook County are pretty solid areas to try out. Waders or a kayak help a ton with accessing spots off the beaten path

I know where your at but where do you park? Forest preserve then walk across and down the street?
