Nice video! Thanks I have a 2014 Street Glide Special with the 103 and my manual reads, ‘38 oz wet and 45 oz dry’. Redline still only sending 1 quart with their kit.🤔 DIYers, make sure you read your manuals in addition to watching videos!
And to think that this is what I will be doing once my 21 RGS arrives, after my first oil change I will miss my Victory Magnum. LOL, all good I guess it gives me some alone time from the family while I change the fluids in my bike. Gone are the days of a simple oil change.
Excellent video! Two suggestions - take out the top derby cover screw last and install it first. That way the cover and, if you have the cardboard gasket used with aftermarket covers, can hang on the top screw while you do the other screws. The other thing - one click on the torque wrench. Re-tightening so it clicks again changes the torque value. I know that's not critical here, but in other applications it's important. Anyway, your presentation is great!
i love how you explain sir, because you specified where the drain plug of primary oil, transmission oil and engine oil.the other videos ive seen they do not explain well
I just finished this job today 6.24.22 on my 2021 Tri Glide Ultra. As for the oil filter making a mess, it did not. On the Trike and with my huge hands, I had to use the filter wrench removing and installing the filter. When I got the filter off, very little oil ran down the front of the bike. I used the great brake cleaner to instantly clean it up. Easy job. Brake cleaner is mostly lighter fluid. Evaporates quick and gets all the grime off.
I always start with removing the primary cover bolts first in case you strip or break one in which case if youve drained your primary, youre in for a very bad day. Other than that, excellent video.
Excellent video, not new to riding but never really did much of my own MC maintenance and this was a huge help. Edit: removed a question I had that you previously answered in the description..😂
I enjoy every content you put out. I also have a 2020 Road Glide Special. I watched your 3 hole oil change. I am wondering what ratchet you are using. I noticed once you loosen the bolt you use the ratchet handle to finish removing the bolt. This makes removing a bolt in tight places much easier.
