I have one of these 05 power wagons . It's a hell of a truck! I have just over a 100,000 miles on it now and still love getting in the thing everyday . Best truck I've ever owned!!!
I have a basemodel 03 1500 3.7l v6 RWD. Nothing special I don't even have HI or Lo. It's a underpowered truck but it's runs great even after 20 years starts right up. I towed a 6000 camper once with this thing no problem at all!
Damn dude, my 04 silverado 2500hd 6.0 only makes 300hp and 360tq, it's not bad but god damn and mine has a 4spd auto. Although my truck weighs 5500 lbs and its basic af lol and at the time my truck was about 28k but again bare bones with the exception of cruise, power locks/windows and what not
I loved the exterior of these but that Interior was trash, when compared to the F-150 and GM Twins. However the ergonomics was significantly better than the GM twins.

Only thing that sucks is that this was when Daimler was merged with Chrysler. But other than that these are good trucks.

They won't due to ground clearance and they won't be able to fit the winch in as well.
@Collecian It'd be nice but the Cummins is much heavier. It's not something you want in an off-road oriented vehicle.

Your 1500 is way lighter. I have an 05 power wagon its not made for speed and no matter how I drive I always sit at 10.5 mpg
Airthew mine weighs 6900 pounds at least that's what the sticker on the door says. I get around 18 mpg around 50 mph
