  • Testing the new Kyosho Inferno Neo 3.0 VE Brushless 1/8 Buggy with the new Halko Hardcase 3S LiPo Battery. A good match? I sure had fun even though I am not a racer and do not know what I am doing!

    Hi there Mikael, that Kyosho inferno looks great on the race track, a great running video. It’s looks very well balanced and plenty power for us non-racers. Enjoy the model. Take care and best wishes to you and the family 😊😉😁

      Hi John! Yeah, such a stunning looking buggy. Just love it 😍 Needs some tuning but that’s okay. Definitely good enough out-of-the-box for a non-racer / bad driver like myself 😂 Best wishes to you and yours my friend

    Hi Mikael and thanks for a great tour of the track in your Inferno! Likes like a blast and your driving was superb, I think I would need a 2S battery to make it around there safely! Great video and a very good battery, all the best, my mate! :O)

      Hi Mark! Thanks a lot for watching my friend, it’s a great little track. Maybe a bit too technical for me but fun anyways. 4S is also good there. Ahh, thank you for the compliment but at least half of the driving in the video was not by me (I was busy running around at the track with my GoPro-stick). And of course there was plenty of blooper-material edited out 😅 best wishes my mate

    Oh, that was nice to see on a dark and gloomy Finnish Tuesday, some Danish sunshine and a cool buggy hitting the track!
    I see yours has same issue as mine, it won't keep the nose up when jumping. I think I was told something about thicker diff fluid in the center diff, but I haven't managed to do it yet, maybe someday...
    I should get mine out soon, it's nearing the end of 10th scale buggy season here soon...
    Have a great day there, buddy!

      Hi Mads! Yeah, it could need some adjustments, both in the diffs and the shocks. Uhh, yeah, 1/8 is good in the winter. Not sure I will run this one. Too pretty ☺️ Better smash up HPI or Arrma instead.

    Great video. Sadly the track is closed for the winter, but we will back next spring. I need some hardcase batteries for my new buggy, so I will diffenately take a look at Haiko.

      Hey Morten! Yeah, bet it is wet and soaked by now. But some good memories from the summer and the track ☺️ Halko seems very good. Made by Gensace I think so top quality.

    Very nice Mikael. Good of them to send you those batts. I noticed that you are using a deans to EC5 adaptor. I have had problems with those in terms of having a reliable connection. I ended up making everything EC5 (or IC5) for the 3s cars as it seems to be more reliable. Anyway great to get to use the track and the buggy looks very cool. Top stuff my friend 🙂

      Hi Pete! Thanks my good friend! Yeah, very cool 3S battery. Ahh, not had any problems with the adaptors. But yes, I mainly use them due to shortage of soldering-time. I started converting some cars a few years back. The idea was to get all the ‘big’ or ‘fast’ power-hungry buggies and trucks converted to EC5 but only got to around 4-5 cars. Need to start up again. As you can see, EuroRC also send some EC5 plugs - so hopefully that will motivate me again - maybe for a video 😀 Best wishes my mate

      What type of trouble have you had with the adaptors? I know it’s not ideal, but …

    • @PeteWylieRC
      @PeteWylieRC ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NordicRC oh it was the car losing power after a jump. Might have been a dodgy adapter. I think that EC5 is just generally more reliable 😁
