    Kyosho anything is top notch in my opinion. They’ve always taken things one step better, whether it was their clones of other brands in the early days or coming out with innovative new ideas.. great run Mikael

      Yeah, there is definitely something special about Kyosho. I like that they are so versatile. From Mini-Z, to traditional and iconic 80’s kits to 1/8 RTR buggies and so on. Tamiya could learn something ☺️

    Such great footage. Glad i have got back into watching your videos.
    I have this exact car, and on 4s it's a great car, i actually put a 17t pinion in mine and i feel that's how they should come from the factory. Never overheats and is fast as you need around a track with some in reserve. Almost 70kmh and nothing has broken from many many huge crashes and collisions with my son's hyper7 brushless conversion that i built him. I Just built another for myself and two others for friends. Such an easy fun project if you come across hyper7 buggies with broken engines or the like.
    All the best and thanks for the videos!

      Thank you for the nice feedback, Peter! Yeah, when it gets less muddy and rainy again, I will definitely revisit this on 4S. Good to hear it’s durable. I won’t run it too hard though. Too pretty ☺️ Got the Arrma and HPI 1/8 buggies to bash. Sounds like fun this Hyper7. Cool you got the skills for electric conversions. Never tried that myself. Maybe one day ☺️ All the best back to you and yours

      @@NordicRC mate, if you can build a Tamiya kit, you can do a hyper7 or similar brushless conversion with your eyes shut! Well, almost.
      You buy the engine mount either genuine from the hobao VS model, or a Chinese copy online for $15. A reasonable rocket brushless system or better. Chop a bit of the servo tray up, throw the servo and the braking system away, pull old engine mount and install new engine mount.
      My 8yo son and I did his in a few hours after school one day. He was pulling things apart, i was doing the assembly.
      Great to see you now have a few 1/8 buggies in your videos, i love the Tamiya cars, but you can't beat the off-road ability and strength of 1/8 or larger. You can just rip across rough ground that a Tamiya would be stuck on! Smashing into things at speed that would turn a Tamiya to dust! 🤣
      Thanks for the reply, Cheers.

    It's strange how these buggies always look faster off road than on. Not a bad speed when all's said and done. Some great jumps at the end as well especially as they were one handed. All the best my friend.

    Hiya Mikael. Well I think I'm going to say that it doesn't look quick enough for me on 3s but ok for the garden runs where you are also holding the camera! Have you tried 4s yet? I think that to be fun an RC car needs to be a bit unruly on full throttle so it's a challenge to control it. Anyway nice video my friend. Hope all is well with you and yours 🙂

    • @NordicRC
      @NordicRC  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hejsa Pete! Yeah, I think a lot of people will prefer this on 4S. But for me, it feels kinda nice to have full control on full throttle - especially with one-handed driving and filming. But yea, will be great fun on 4S too. 6S is also fun now and then, but this is limited to 4S. It will probably gain quite a lot of top speed on 4S. 10-20 kph more compared to my others 1/8 buggies. But will definitely use it on 3S too. Relaxing. Meditative. Maybe add a couple of teeth on the pinion though. Thanks a lot for watching my good friend. Best wishes.

      There are videos of this machine on y-tube running on 4s, with 17 t pinion and 20 t pinion respectively. Becomes quite fast with those.

      @@Max-do7me yes, mine on 4s with 17t is a great set up for my track and just general driving. Does almost 70kmh and is so strong. The crashes i have had and broken nothing is incredible.

      @@peteuncle2935 Thanks for letting me know. My Neo 3.0 has arrived, for testing I put some inexpensive dish wheels on. Now I just have to wait for a bit of warmth, I´m a little hesitant to use the LiPo batteries under sub-zero conditions. Thanks again for your kind reply!

    Hello, one question, does the 3s battery run out faster when used in an rc 4s?
    or it only has less speed but the autonomy is the same in 3s as in 4s?

    • @NordicRC
      @NordicRC  ปีที่แล้ว

      3S got more voltage than 4S. One extra cell. So delivers more voltage to the motor. The ESC and motor has no impact on the battery.

    Oh, man, that last jump was perfect! I loved watching this, I think I watched it like 8 or 10 times on the TV on Sunday while cleaning the house, now was the first time I managed to watch it on TH-cam on the computer to comment.
    Just keep them coming, I'll watch them!

    Hi there Mikael, that Kyosho looks like a beauty indeed. A nice battery for power and a respectable speed in standard format for the model. The sequence through the fallen leaves looks great. Take care and best wishes to you and the family 😎😊😁😉

    If my memory serves me right they come with a 14 t pinion. When I raced mine on 4s I had to go up to 16 t. If I had to guess maybe low 40 miles an hour
