- Hey guys, sorry the video is so late this week! This project took longer than anticipated so I wasn’t able to finish it in time for a Wednesday post 😬 In this video, I take you through the process of making a 1:12 scale laundry room diorama inside of an old detergent bottle. I saw this craft on Pinterest and wanted to recreate it for myself once I had gone through an entire bottle of detergent.
I tried to make every aspect of this diorama to the correct scale, and although it isn’t perfect, it’s close enough to pass for miniature laundry room. I’m really happy with the way it turned out, and I’m glad I was able to put my own spin on to this craft. If you make your own, please tag me so that I can see your creation, and let me know what your favourite part of this is in the comments down below! :)

Favorite part was you putting all this in a detergent bottle ❤️❤️❤️
So cute!
Thanks! It was challenging to fit everything in something so small but it was so worth it!
OMG! The cat in the laundry basket!! That is absolutely the perfect touch. I love it.
Thank you so much! My own cats are always in the laundry basket so I had to add one into this scene hahaha
Ridiculously cute
Thank you!
I liked the detergent bottle used as the housing. So fitting
🎉❤🎉
Exactly! I thought it was so clever, and I'd love to see her do more with other bottles
Thank you ! It's so perfect for this diorama!
@@rurone I will definitely add that to my list of art ideas! 👀
@@KyraYeske I find myself looking around and thinking "Maybe a nail salon in a bottle of nail polish remover?"
@@rurone omg that’s such a good idea!! When I empty my bottle I’m so going to do that!!
So creative, loved how it turned out.
thank you so much!

Very cute!
Thank you!
So cute love, this idea 🥰
Awe thank you ! ☺
Love how you made all the elements yourself. Thank you for giving specs too. It looks great❤❤
Thank you! It's definitely more time-consuming to hand-make everything, but then there's the satisfaction of knowing you made it yourself!
How have you not got more comments? I love this project! 😊 It's defo a good idea to do something to smooth plastic that gives it a 'tooth'. Funny how some choices are obvious afterwards, isn't it? 🤣 I did laugh when you were talking about the sides of the washing machine. Lots of great ideas and that cat is just adorable. ❤
oh my goodness you are too kind! 🥰 Thank you so much for your comment - I love that you liked the project and got a good laugh too! 🤣
So cute ❤
thank you 🥰
This is so clever and it turned out absolutely adorable!
thank you so much ! ☺
Nice job! Welcome to the world of miniatures. Your scale is awesome. Thank you for sharing. Oh and in the future if you want to keep your minis. Just a suggestion don't use hot glue it doesn't hold for very long. Maybe use a. Combo of pva and hot glue for a fast grip.
Thank you!! And I will keep that in mind! Hot glue was just easiest but I've already had the ironing board fall off the wall so I'll definitely be using that knowledge to fix it and for my next miniature projects! :)
I like it and I do things like that
I’d love to see your version!
