You have such an ability to see the individual shapes in something so you can put it together tiny. I have learned so much from you. The bellows and trap are amazing.
I LOVE this video. I love all the little details all the little techniques and how long it is. I started it just as a watch with my morning coffee. But only a quarter of the way through I'm wanting to get my diorama and work with you! So fun and so inspiring.
I really love the Rustic Cabin with it's snowshoes, bear trap and all the goodies there. It really turned out cute. That fire pit is great as well. Thanks for sharing and you have a wonderful day
You really convey your enjoyment for the creation of miniatures. While I’m sure there is a challenge in completing your goal… you seem to have “joy” in the journey. Given all that’s going on “everywhere”, (and I don’t even have t.v.), watching you work as I quilt or at the end of a very busy day; is a welcome - sigh… Truly, thank you for sharing.
Thank you for sharing your fabulous talent & your delightful self with all of your fellow crafters! I’m so happy to find your channel! I’m really glad that I’ve never thrown away the HUGE box of “ I might need this stuff someday!” That’s been living under the bed. Like you, I can see potential in every scrap of anything. My family thinks I have Fruit Loops for brains, but we know better, right? Can’t wait to watch my way through all of your content. Again, thanks for doing these vids. I wish you & yours a Happy & Healthy New Year🫶😊
I do like the black/silver dishes, but I loved the red enamelware the most. I love your artwork. I enjoy creating miniatures as well ❤ Your refrigerator turned out....amazingly beautiful! Now I want to make one! You are so inspiring! I guess I need to make a log cabin room box now 😊😊
Love love loooove these combo videos. I was surprised you fully painted the speckle dishes instead of just ageing them BUT they still look great for the project. Genuinely inspiring as always ✨
Wow! Each piece you made was perfect and the ice box was 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 ! It kinda reminded me of my Dad because he always called the refrigerator that. 😆 TFS!
This is beautiful and yo make me chuckle from time to time I love your description of what your doing you are amazing with details I enjoy your channel !
I just looked at the Victorian kitchen I’m working on and I knew something was missing… it looked so sterile. Now I know… thanks to you. I’m going to shadow like you did to give it the natural realistic aged look you accomplished 😃👍🏼 Thank you again ! ! !
You make the coolest minis in the world! I love all the tips and tricks that you mention to help others create the same effect! I love making miniatures, and have learned from watching this very informative video! TFS! ~Janet in Canada
Looks fantastic! The square hole in the woven frame of the snow shoes is the space for the 'toe pivot' (idk the exact terminology). It makes it much easier to walk in giant stick shoes.
Brilliantly done! Absolutely love these builds. Gets me so excited to try to put my own spin on some things. I have so many projects I want to do, and the only way it could happen is scratch built. Thanks for sharing and teaching. Off to rewatch that 1:144 scale house video. 👏
How do you do such a fantastic job of just creating so many things and they all come out beautiful. I have a rock I’m trying to make look like an island. I’ll just a bit of paint to the plastic plants and they still look like painted plastic plants. You are so talented
You are so dedicated to your craft, adding the tiny details like the shading around the shelves and aging and making things looks used and grimy like your sink. I do have to agree with you about the dishes painted black and was glad to see you removed it. It adds a pop of color the scene needs for more realism. Everything, oh how about 98% you make always looks so fantastic! ♥️
Hello again. I think you should just hang the snowshoes from the rack, on the room box's wall. I love how the tiny snowshoes turned out! I made some of those, years ago, and used green Birch twigs to bend into the shape of a showshoe, then used some thin sinew to make the webbing. Brown thread works better, though, as it doesn't put too much pressure on the twigs. I like the way you made your webbed snowshoes, better! ~Janet in Canada
Hi Shyra, I just found your channel. I have always loved dollhouses and was obsessed at one point and went to Chicago to see Coleen Moore's dollhouse, I was there for hours. Life happened and interests changed but I want to take this up again. I am in awe of you that you can see how to use something that would have been tossed and make it into something beautiful. Back when I was younger I never dreamed of making items, and to buy finished pieces was cost prohibitive to me. I am starting to build supplies and have used your likes, like above, but I am wondering if you have a comprehensive list of what I need? PS, I love your voice and I LOVE your humor. Thank you for all of your videos!!!
Cool your such a clever lady . I think you tube should have a complintent button so perhaps they could have a n award ceremony 1 a year for each category that have received on the complimen ts.a bit like the Oscars they could be called you tubers awards. I think it would be great especially if you tube get sponsors .
For the second one try the strip that cut the aluminum foil and if is too thick try the other boxes like cling wrap only is not good to aloud children to play with it cut it really cuts, only if is for display. Just another idea.
Fun & learned a lot! Wondering if u glue down (& what glue) all the pieces in ur room boxes? Also - I got a bunch of glass slide covers🔬to make mini "bullet holes" (kudos: Dave's Decals) any suggestions what to make from my extra covers? TY
I just wonder what your neighbors think...." There, look at her now! she's digging around in the. firewood and burning tiny bits of the logs. She saves the trash from her trash can and eyeballs my boxes that get delivered."
What is your opinion/experience regarding which product is better to create adhesion to a smooth surface…Gesso or Mod Podge? Is one better than another? Tips I should use? My goal is to add texture/shape onto plastic dollhouses/toys and want to avoid future chipping/cracking. Thanks much!!
I’m planning to really add bulk/shape/swirls and such. I’ve been researching products for the bulk such as air dry clay or UV resin, but adhesion is a big concern since I’m working on plastic toys.
Me listening as I craft, my sister sticks her head in asking if she just heard someone say “Here’s a glimpse of the Naughty Backside.” I had to skip back prove it was “knotty back side”
You have such an ability to see the individual shapes in something so you can put it together tiny. I have learned so much from you. The bellows and trap are amazing.
I totally agree with you … her creativity and thought process blows my mind 🤯🤯👍🏼❤️👍🏼
Thank you so much! I love the bear trap (although not real ones. Only little fake ones)
Thank you so much!
@@queencityminis yes small fake ones ONLY.
I LOVE this video. I love all the little details all the little techniques and how long it is. I started it just as a watch with my morning coffee. But only a quarter of the way through I'm wanting to get my diorama and work with you! So fun and so inspiring.
That's fantastic! I love crafting together :)
really enjoying this tutorial. I preferred the red speckle dishes too.
I agree. I removed the silver paint to restore them
I really love the Rustic Cabin with it's snowshoes, bear trap and all the goodies there. It really turned out cute. That fire pit is great as well. Thanks for sharing and you have a wonderful day
Thanks for watching!

Thank you so much! I'm glad it can be a little escape.
I can't believe you gave us another hour long video, it makes me so happy! 🤗🤗 Thank you very much ❤
I'm so glad!
i never knew i needed miniature snowshoes until today. astounding work i was mesmerized
I’m glad you liked them!
These are so impressive!! I love the longer videos too.
Glad you like them!
Oh my goodness the bear trap and snow shoes… and I could watch moss placement for hours ❤
Same here!
I agree with your belated assessment that the red spatterware looked better as it was.
I agree! I eventually removed the paint to reveal the red.
I love your sense of humor. You make it fun to watch your videos, not just informative.
I appreciate that! I try to keep it lighthearted 😄

You’re right, you never know when something will come in handy!
I do like the black/silver dishes, but I loved the red enamelware the most. I love your artwork. I enjoy creating miniatures as well ❤
Your refrigerator turned out....amazingly beautiful! Now I want to make one! You are so inspiring! I guess I need to make a log cabin room box now 😊😊
Thank you! It's so rewarding to create tiny things.
Love that you created everything by hand. A few pieces were perplexing because you painted them where pain wasn't really needed like the broom stick.
I agree! Sometimes I do too much
Love love loooove these combo videos. I was surprised you fully painted the speckle dishes instead of just ageing them BUT they still look great for the project.
Genuinely inspiring as always ✨
Thank you so much! Glad you liked them, but I eventually removed the paint to restore them.
I love the way that your work looks but have a hard time watching some of your techniques, what a perfectionism mind boggle 🥴😵💫
Julie Warren is perfect. I'm more loose.
@ I will have to check her out, thank you for the recommendation! Classiest reply to my dry sense of criticism that I’ve ever gotten 🫡👌🏻
Your firepit is amazing! It would also make a great water well! I can picture it with a bucket and winch
That's a great idea! I might have to try that.
Wow! Each piece you made was perfect and the ice box was 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 ! It kinda reminded me of my Dad because he always called the refrigerator that. 😆 TFS!
Thank you! I love a good icebox 😄 That's cool about your dad.
This is beautiful and yo make me chuckle from time to time I love your description of what your doing you are amazing with details I enjoy your channel !
Thanks so much! I really appreciate you watching!
Never cease to amaze me..wonderful work.👍👍
Thank you so much 😀
I would lobe to see some minatures that are made out of everyday ,,trash" 😊 love your creativity
That's my favorite thing to do!
I just looked at the Victorian kitchen I’m working on and I knew something was missing… it looked so sterile. Now I know… thanks to you. I’m going to shadow like you did to give it the natural realistic aged look you accomplished 😃👍🏼 Thank you again ! ! !
You’re so welcome! Glad I could help!
I also create my own miniatures from scratch .I love your video , excellent!!! Thank you.Keep up the great work and please share more😊
That's awesome! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Making minis from scratch is so much fun.
You make the coolest minis in the world! I love all the tips and tricks that you mention to help others create the same effect! I love making miniatures, and have learned from watching this very informative video! TFS!

Thanks for watching, Janet! I appreciate that
That was a great video, but I must say, those projects are way above my skills!! And patience levels too. Your ring is so beautiful!
Thank you!
Love your work. ❤
Thanks! I really appreciate it
The fire pit is amaz! You have a wonderful talent!
Thanks so much! I really enjoyed making that one.
12:50 that shadow is perfect! I need to try that next time
Thank you! Adding shadows makes a big difference
I'm planning a dollhouse that is rather messy, so this abandoned lab has been very helpful. Thank you so much for sharing!!
Glad it was helpful!
I think you do a wonderful job ❤ thank uou for sharing your ideas
You are so welcome!
Looks fantastic! The square hole in the woven frame of the snow shoes is the space for the 'toe pivot' (idk the exact terminology). It makes it much easier to walk in giant stick shoes.
That makes a lot of sense!
Awesome! Love watching you create! They all look so real!
Thanks so much 😊
I love watching your attention to detail, but your oh-so-dry commentary puts it over the top!
Thanks so much! I’m working on being more enthusiastic. Jk. I'm not 😆
Amazing pieces. You are such an artist.
Thank you very much!
It's a pleasure watching u work.very inspiring
Thank you so much 😀

those r the cutes clamps i have ever seen😊
I agree!
Love seeing everything you come up with!
Thank you so much!
Good call on the dishes. The white splatter was a bit big for a miniature. Your projects always look amazing and so realistic.
Thanks so much! 😊
this is what a master looks like
Thank you 😊
How do you do such a fantastic job of just creating so many things and they all come out beautiful. I have a rock I’m trying to make look like an island. I’ll just a bit of paint to the plastic plants and they still look like painted plastic plants. You are so talented
Keep trying!

Your mossy firepit looks almost like an exact replica of the real one in my backyard.
That's awesome!
You are so talented ❤

The bear trap idea bowled me over 😆 🤣 😂

I'll have to make a video like that at some point. I don't currently. Thank you for watching!
Yes. I liked the red speckleware dishes better
The flickering candle (flame cap) looks a bit like a horn drinking container for your old cabin dollhouse box.
I'm not sure how I missed that! True
Definitely the red
The rope is organic. It's called sisal rope. If I remember correctly, they are fibers from a cactus.
That's so cool!
Cool your such a clever lady .

ts.a bit like the Oscars they could be called you tubers awards. I think it would be great especially if you tube get sponsors .
Also for New comets
That would be cool!
Should you rust up the old metal hanging cabinet a little?
That's a great idea

I use museum wax or glue

😆 exactly
Thank you 😊
Amazing work! Any idea where we might find those little blue clamps?
Amazon!

I know Gesso sticks to almost anything. Joint compound or spackle seems to work really well too
@@queencityminis Thanks!
Where do you get your inspiration of what kinds of rooms you want to create?
I'm not good at planning. The ideas just pop into my head.
🎉
🥰🥰🥰😍😍💯💯👍👍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
We've seen all of these before correct
Yes, it's a montage of previous minis
How do you clean your run n buff paintbrush?
I use rubbing alcohol but I think there are better things
Oh no! Don't paint over the red...The red spotted with white specs was perfect. Plus you needed some color.
I completely agree
Bentwood chairs?
Is that what they are?
Wait hold up what's the thing that keeps the saw cuts straight called?
A miter box?
U could have used spaghetti soaked in water bent it together then dried it
That's a cool idea
Me listening as I craft, my sister sticks her head in asking if she just heard someone say “Here’s a glimpse of the Naughty Backside.” I had to skip back prove it was “knotty back side”
That's too funny 🤣
I would love to have a playdate with you
I'm sure we'd made great minis!
Just lean them against the chair
That's what I ended up doing
When I snap my fingers, all they do is make a sound.
😆
I’m watching a show called it bit me 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
That's great show 😆
