    Thanks for such an unpretentious and clear presentation that was very easy to follow despite being comprehensive and thorough. Most of the best teachers out there miss some of the critical points needed for beginners - but you make me feel like you are right there in the room with me having an enjoyable conversation. Your respectful attitude is a unique virtue - and the pace of your speaking voice despite being fast and with tremendous expositional structure (showing very high intelligence) - your entusiasm, sincerity, and charisma - make you great company and much appreciated for anyone dealing with the challenge of the MASCHINE learning experience. GREAT JOB - but you must know that you are "top shelf" because the ratio of the number of your subscribers to the age of the video - well - I feel sorry for all your competitors. Just keep doing what you are doing. Fantastic!

      @@creativedwill well I went a little crazy lmaooo. My old set up was a nuemann mic to a focusrite liquid channel out to an apollo quad then out to a dangerous d box for summing. Back into the apollo. And out to the jbl lsr4328p monitors. I also had some ns 10s and the maschine mk2 as well as the mpc rennessance. So I got that set up again basically I got the apollo quad firewire but I put the thunderbolt 3 chip in it. Got the nuemann and the jbls. And I got the nektar panarama 61 key and the maschine studio. I should have got the mk3 or the plus. But I got it for 250 brand new in a box. With the plastic cover. Lol that was a novel. O I bought the mac studio ultra too. lol Good Gracious!!! You have a beast of a setup Hardware wise. Man that’s awesome!! The Studio was my favorite Maschine to work with because everything was laid out for you. You definitely look at one of the Komplete bundles! I think NI will be starting there Summer Sale in June which will give you a discount on a lot of the Komplete bundles. Typically it’s Half off the Komplete bundles. I would highly recommend you wait and see what’s up with that 😊😊 I have the Komplete 13 ultimate Collectors and it was the best decision I have made regarding software bundles. I love it!

If I showed you the meager setup I started with when I first moved to Orlando and went to full sail. You would see. I had such a small setup but I was proud. Then as time went by and I finished school which was a solid waste of money. Let me tell u. I ended up at School of F.I.R.S.T.. of John Young in Orlando. Love your vids fam. I have one thing to say though. Im a Mac user so it might be different. While I totally agree on installing all content onto the external ssd I have always heard and thought that you install the players and vsts into the main computer. Cause if not your putting more strain cause your computer is using the ssd to get the players be it kontact or maschine and having to pull the plugin off the ssd then having to pull the samples and patches and presets off the ssd. I always thought it would make your computer work harder and use more ram. Cause it would have to put the player the vst and the samples on ram to use it. I dont know if I just made any sense. But mac won't even let u install vst or the players on an external. You have to install them on the main drive. And you can install all sample content and presets on an external drive. But like I said I could be wrong.

    • @creativedwill
      @creativedwill  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey thank you for commenting!🙏🏾 That is a great question. I have always installed all my NI content on an SDD Hard drive. You pose a really good point about the players being on external hard drive VS inside the computer. All of my Hard drive are additional Hard drives inside my PC so I have never really paid attention. Thank you for your comment! Ima have to look into this. 😊

    • @rumble1925
      @rumble1925 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It wont use more ram or resources. The data is loaded into ram when you use it, doesnt matter where you stored it.
      It might be slower to fetch the initial data if its a ssd via usb or a slower hard drive. But thats it. It runs the same in the program.

Everything will still function normal if you install it on you Computer Hard Drive. It’s just a matter of preference. When you were looking through FX, your third-party Arturia tape effect showed up. But what about other third party instruments? I was just browsing through my Machine software (I don't have the hardware unit yet), and when I searched in Kits and in Drums, none of the third-party stuff I have shows up. Logic is my DAW, and I'm creating a track with Maschine. I could easily load my other VIs in their own tracks in Logic, but I was thinking loading them inside of Maschine first would quickly let me get loops up and running to start creating new ideas. I'm 100% new to Maschine, so apologies for the super basic questions.
