Hi Jon, I have been watching your excellent videos for a while and have purchased things on your recommendation like the das6 (great bit of kit). I finally bought the polar series set after watching your review and another TH-cam review (a Scotsman wearing glasses!!). This stuff is amazing not only has it cleaned my Renault master swb van, it was easy to use (did buy 2 more snow foam guns for ease of use). Polar blast worked fantastic, polar wash was great, I think my 300ml total mix was asking too much for a vehicle that size, but the polar seal 40:250ml was spot on. I've been trying these products for about a month now. I'm using a new Mitsubishi L200 as the test bed, it's been fully prepared, machine polished then been given a good couple of coats of their Super Resin polish. On top of that, I've used their Ultra High Definition HD wax. The only downside I've found is if you mix a strong solution of their Polar Blast. I used it one Sunday and there were traces of foam still present in the street the following Wednesday! So, I had to ease up on its use to stop my neighbours complaining. All in all, I like the range.
your right. but anything with more foam boosters and stabalizers has more foam thats also more erm.... stable. but yer foam sticks around on ground. someone else said that but its true it does stick around longer.
I love Bilt Hamber snow foam, and this with Polar Wash through the snow canon as a contact wash afterwards is a great combination this time of year. Polar Wash is a tenner at our local motor factors so not a bad price either.
Just got some of the seal this week, done a couple of cars with it now, really good stuff, all i can say is don't mix it with hot water, you can get the footstepping that was mentioned. I like that they have brought out some winter products, nothing worse than a cold bucket in the cold weather!
Afternoon John et al, Used this for the first time today as a possible service additional service to offer. My points of note: Snow foam, quite effective, decent amount of dirt lifted and seen in the run off. Seen a lot worse from others Shampoo. Dried a little quick, considering it wasn't that hot today, and no direct sunlight. I may up the concentration next time, maybe. I think it best to maybe clean the wheels before applying the shampoo (either post snow foam, or post snow foam rinse) Or, as John suggests, maybe sides at a time. Sealant. Wow, for such a small amount needed to apply, worked very quickly and the beading afterwards for such a simple application was great. Didn't think the shine was there as much as I'd hoped. However, the car I used was covered in salt and no protection was on it already. If I had questions for AutoGlym, I've always worked top down, the instructions here are apply bottom up, just wondering why? Thans for the video John.
Im not sure on the applying thing.. maybe top panels are the ones likely to be the hotest so if you start there its gonna get a longer dwell time.. maybe if you put more on the top it risks more going onto windscreen, dont think its critcally important though. Ive had it on the car for over a week and its been really cool. Im looking forward to seeing how it is next wash. And I want to try decanting like I said to use as a rinse aid. also interested to see if it makes future washes easier because the car is properly dirty again now because of all the like wet winter slush and salts and stuff. cheers mate great feedback
@@ForensicDetailing Update - tried it on my own car, this weekend and I believe it has also helped 'mask' a few minor swirls ad scratches, as I know my rear quarter was bad, but the A3 in the sun this weekend, looked a lot less swirled than normal. I've also been offering using it with some customers as a basic-ish offering and they are pleased with it
Cool products good review. About 7-8 years Autoglym was my first detail company I got into while started my hobby of detailing. Now like most of us I try many other companies and many other products. So many out there only a few great ones. Great value as usual with Autoglym. Keep it up Jon with your excellent videos. 👌👍🏻
Been using all three for the last few months. Really has made keeping the car clean very easy. Have only used the Polar Seal once but it seems to do the job.
this bundle was my first ever products ... a year ago it was good but then you go deep in to other companys like bilt hamber and garage theopy ect you know what is best for you thas why its so many companys out there 👍
So the sealant is basically nano boost. Seen it all before, but I do agree this time of year you don’t want to be spending hours on your car. you want to be able to still feel your fingers.
that's what SealSkinz Ultragrip gloves are for, keeps your hands warm & dry, even when washing with a bucket of warm water -- best Xmas gift I've ever had (also has side effect of gripping microfibre clothes like nothing else)
Just had a go with adding the polar seal into a spray bottle. I added 50ml to 1000ml of water and seems to of worked a charm. I washed the car, then rinsed and applied the spray and dried with a drying towel. You could probably get away with reducing the polar seal even more but more tests to come.
hey davy, thanks for feeding back. thats quite a strong ratio your about 1:20 (there at 50:10000) So in the lance it would be closer to 1:200 i think. so you should get turbo charged performance. maybe try like 20 ml to 1000 litres and see if that still works? ill get round to try as well and feedback on the channel.
@@lazydave3215 yer defo, hey davy how cool though because if you can make use of it in a sprayer like this, one litre of raw polar seal could literally make like 40 bottles of trigger or pump spray sealant. or if you just use in the lance mainly and decant say 100ml you could also have like 3-5 free litre bottles of spray sealant which can be used in a sort of drying aid style application.
Spot on review. I’ve just bought the polar wash to save time as my car is big and keep going back to the bucket can be annoying. Doing a panel at a time, contact wash then rinse is the plan. I’m happy with my polar blast but when that runs out I’m using bilt hamber touchless.
Before I really, REALLY got into detailing I would see AutoGlym at PepBoys but never tried their stuff. I do remember a nice clean, basic white bottle with colored lettering based on what it was for, THAT I do remember. Great review as usual John🔔
I'll give the seal a miss as I hate the water activated ones (apart from on wheels) as they do end up on the glass and and time saved is wasted claying the screen! The wash stuff looks very interesting though. There appears to be a high degree of lubricity. I've been thinking about a Hozelock Y connector so that the PW can be attached along with the Hozelock trigger multispray - would allow the mitt to sprayed clean (like your 1 bucket method) and, on a warm day - PW soap, wash with mitt, rinse panel, spray mitt, repeat, all with no swapping of water supply. Yes, I know, I'll get it all in a tangle and fall over ... xD
Hey John. I have just bought a new hose for my Karcher pressure washer. It's a long life anti kink rubber hose with a swivel connection at the lance end. I got it from Direct Hoses and it's one of the best investments I've made. Not only does it not tangle up like the thermoplastic ones but I seem to have more pressure output now. Its well worth £40 for 10 meters and is cheaper if you buy it through Ebay for some weird reason. Just search for Karcher Swivel Hose. 😀👍
Hi thought this question and answer from Autoglym might be helpful to people considering these products, my aim is to try this set up for contactless cleaning through the winter months. Q - is there a recommended minimum time to apply / dry before it is likely to rain (e.g. to let the material fully bond etc). Plus when using in winter can you use without drying off the product (its so rainy sometimes). A - No minimum time, in fact you want to get this on and off as quick as possible. for the best possible finish apply to the car quickly and then switch to the water rinse and get it off quickly. This is not like a regular product that gets better or protects more the longer you leave it, the chemistry is different. On fast, off fast, no dwell time or curing time needed. As for the need to dry, the buffing action of a drying towel or similar can ensure the finish is even if a bit has been missed during the rinse. Ideally dry it yes, but if you do not need to it will be ok and you can catch any rinse missed areas during the next contact wash or application of Rapid Detailer or similar.
@@ForensicDetailing Yes sorry should have made that clearer, thought you might like this. Me and the wife spent an hour yesterday doing the great RSBP bird watch from indoors during the rain, after some time it was observed that i was spending far to much time looking at the beads on my car through my binoculars, rather adictive!
Whilst I use my pressure washer for applying this brand of foam (reassuring it appears exactly the same on the car as shown here) I would never dare use my pressure lance on my car (Mazda 6 Soul Red). The paint is so thin. My preferred tactic is a hose lance followed by Autoglym AquaWax applied by hand - superb finish.
Brilliant review. Could not have been better timed ! I have all three products and can’t wait to get out there tomorrow morning and try them out. Cheers
At least it feels at home in my yard in the northern half of scandinavia, and yes, i hand wash my car in below freezing conditions. Just have hot water in the bucket and you´ll be fine.
I’ve had some of the polar seal knocking around for a while and not used it a great deal so I thought I’ll use it in the winter as a top up and I used it today in with my weekly maintenance wash and the results where amazing now it’s making me wonder when we have products like this why we bother anymore with traditional paste wax’s because this is also safer because it’s no contact I no it only lasts a month and paste waxes last longer but this takes a couple of minutes to apply and rinse off as appose to possibly a couple of hours
Which is the best AutoGlymn for removing the dirt so that you don’t have wipe it off. Have used several times with Karcher foam gone but doesn’t seem to remove the dirt?
What pressure washer and pressure washer hose do you use ? Im thinking of getting either a Karcher k2 or a Nilfisk C110? Would appreciate a reply. Thanks
K2 is a pee shooter mate. Id suggest the K4 honestly. Im not so sure about how good the full control is. but my old K4 eco is decent. they are obviously cheap entry level things.
@@ForensicDetailing yh I understand but for me as long as the machine produces some decent foam I'l be happy. Do you think the K4 is worth the extra £150 or something.
@@muhammadarfan7113 yes mate the k2 is not much use at all trust me. sooner or later some random deal will come up where the K4 is like 100-120 quid.. when it comes swoop in and buy one. they are alright for the money as long as you release the air pressure after use they should hold up well.
Quick question, would the polar range strip ultra hd wax of the car ? Really want to give The polar range a go this winter but I have ultra bad wax on the car
I see you are experimenting the multi-mitt method using the Chinese eBay mitts. Love these mitts since you’ve helped me discover them in your one-bucket method video. If you properly take care of them, they can easily last for a handful of washes and then they are dirt cheap to replace. Brand new, I’ve actually found them softer than microfiber.
synthetic wool isnt as good as other formats from the testing Ive seen. but that testing was on very soft plastics. on normal clearcoat its more about technique I guess. I wouldnt use them if it was critically important. but it is perhaps a reason why I generally use a cool mitt and just rinse clean it. dunno overal this wash method just made a lot of sense to me, even shooting this video (which slows everything down like you wouldnt believe) it was still so fast.
After polishing my car an waxing it with uhd wax. What would you say is the best way to routinely wash(every 2 weeks or so) the car without stripping the wax off?
Hi Jon. Another great review. I have been following a similar system, but using standard car shampoos in my foam lance. Yes I snowfoam before I go in with the contact wash, but while the Bilt Hamber Auto Foam is doing it's thing, I get a shampoo solution ready. I also use dedicated mits for the top section, and ones for the lower sections and bumpers. I found it to be much quicker, and one less bucket to fill, and lug around. I also do half the car, then the other half. To be really fussy, I'm going to see how rinsing off with demonized water through a Worx Hydroshot helps speed thing up. What do you reckon ? Anyways, cheers bud. Look forward to the next one.
I do like the Polar Wash that you apply using a snow foam cannon. Is there any other contact wash shampoos that are applied with a snow foam cannon that are, in your opinion, better than Polar Wash or should I really use a bucket wash for better results ? Many thanks for all your videos and thoughts
I'm a massive fan of Autoglym yet I feel this review was slightly under reviewed perhaps because the FDC needs to have more irons in the fire to keep all the free samples and views at a high level, just my opinion folks. Had to think twice in posting this given I'm a massive fan of FDC
If we were to fully detail and decon the car is this series advisable? Are there alternatives better ? And what is the process for full detail polar blast > polar wash > decon > clay > compound/polish > wax > polar seal?
Can these products be applied with a foam gun such as the chemical guys torq foam blaster and a regular garden hose? I find most snow foams and car shampoos work very well with it. Any feedback using a foam gun instead of a foam cannon?
I recently used all 3 products. Worked pretty well although didn't get the bugs off the grille. Really need a hot wet rag for that. The seal was a bit of a pain to hand dry and then clean the windows but it looked good afterwards. No idea if it's better than a proper hand polish and wax but I assume it isn't.
Just used the Polar wash this morning( with the cheap but very good eBay wash mitt thingys) really saves time and washes really well. I used Bilt hamber snow foam as pre wash rather than the polar blast. Work well together, but as mentioned in your video, I would not want to use in hot weather. Well impressed though as a quick winter maintenance wash.
Forensic Detailing Channel No Jon Because I’ve got Fusso coat on it I wasn’t sure if it would bond tbh. So I am using the soft 99 QD spray that compliments it.
it so funny to watch the soap try to cling to a car that is well protected. Your video is living proof of who you are and how well coated and maintained your car is. This looks just like mine at home, it doesn't matter how fantastic and shaving cream thick my snow foam and mtm canon shoot out, it just can't stick to the car. I would only ask is the Snow Foam Trifecta as good as it sounds and is it a thick rich foam or very watery as it shows on your car? Thanks.
hey kieran, Twisted loop Drying Towel tinyurl.com/ybr3nhmp Mini Plush Drying Towels tinyurl.com/ycykoxep (the one green one in the video is chinese, the one in the link is higher quality and is made in korea)
Great video, it says on polar wash 250ml of mix solution should be enough for one car, how many ml of polar wash would you recommend, about 50ml. Thanks
What sort of valve setting were you using on the snow foam nozzle with the polar seal? Normally for snow foam application I run mine about half a turn off wide open (wise open as in as much foam mix as possible), I’m guessing this is a lot less chemical delivery or 220ml wouldn’t last long!
Great video, just a quick one, on your lance what you have you found out to be the best setting for the ratio on the appliance foam adjuster. More to + or - for the best results.
Could you replace the polar wash by just doing a second application of polar blast and do a contact wash with it? Is it not stronger at cleaning, thicker and clings better?
there are difference between rinsable snow foams and contact wash shampoos.. contact washes tend to contain cationic surfactants or lubricating glycol type surfactants. so if you want to clean your car like the fonze then use blast then wash. but yer blast if you dont want 2 products.
With this trio when could you apply a polish. As my car is need of renewing and cant aford a respray was going to t cut as best i could then apply a polish any tips
id put polar blast onto a dry dirt film. in my experience it allows it to work better. then pressure wash off. then on with the polar wash and do the contact. then pressure wash off.
you would need to adjust the ratios accordinly. you would also benefit from a pressure washer to rinse. but if your carefull you could apply with the worx yes mate.
Hi Forensic Detailing, Is there any other foam Lance based shampoo’s out there? Not the snow foam, but like the polar wash where the shampoo is applied via a Lance
@@ForensicDetailing ah ideal! Only as not that impressed with cleaning power of the polar blast, going to switch to BH AutoFoam, haven’t had any issues with polar wash or polar seal… just wanted to know if there’s any alternatives to the foam Lance wash if that makes sense :)
just wanted to ask with these spray rinse sealants how does applying them with a wet microfiber applicator and leaveling them with a dry microfiber increase the durability compared to using them as a spray and rinse it it the fact that wet microfiber applicator dilutes the product less then the spray and rinse method or is it more complicated then that?
I think if you spread them with contact you could potentially know you have got them all over a panel hakim.. but when you rinse them they might not get distributed evenly... but you might also soak some of it up into the microfiber dunno.. I think a good wet microfiber, with sort of 95% dry panels, tiny bit of water still on the panel.. then little spritz on panel and spread with the wet cloth.. then you could rinse and dry.. or dry.. dunno I think it changes protect to product with this polar seal its really designed to be lance delivered... ultimtately you just got to experiemnet my friend and see what works best.
@@hakman239 yer gyeon are pretty adament it needs to be sprayed off. but dunno I like to work it around a panel with a wet cloth.. but just follow OEM guidelines to apply mate.
Washed my car today. BH AF in a pump sprayer, AG Polar Blast, AG Pure Shampoo, then dried with AG Aqua Wax. TBH After the first two stages I really didn't actually need to do a contact wash, but I did want to dry the car so carried through with the hand wash. Cant fault this routine. Been a long time Polar Blast Snow Foam user and just cant fault it. I did think about nipping to halfords and buying the Polar Seal, bit I really cant fault Aqua Wax. BTW what wheel brush was that you were using, my Daytona Speed brush really needs replacing.
Same way I wash my car with spraying the soap on and then using the multi mit method. Quick question. What do u find is the best way to wash and dry your mits and drying towels after each use?
ok so all these mitts will go in the washing machine on a quick wash cycle. Then spin only. (not tumble dry). drying towels typically I create a seperate load for them and because they are mainly just soaking up clean water, it could just be a 15 minute fast ash and spin (dont tumble warp knitt towels). however my little blue hand towels (can) pick up dirt if I dry like alloys so sometimes ill do a 40 deg wash for say 30 mins. The only towels Im mega anal about is the open pile ones. they go to crap if you just chuck in the wash with other towels (they really do). they are very sensitive. Typically these ones which I use for polish. I might just pre soak them in water and some liquid detergent and squeeze out to rinse out 90% of the polish before they go into the machine. If you dont do that the machine honks of like solvent and abrasives and the misses kicks my ass.
Would you recommend also on a car already treated with a ceramic coat. Ie will the foam/wash not adversely effect the coat and the seal ok to maintain?
pre wash and wash will be fine. Polar seal should also be fine, but there is the arguement you might want to maintain coatings with products developed to maintain coatings.. Im just covering my arse a little bit because I dont want to say go ahead it will be fine when Ive not tested that.. but it should be fine.
Why do they recommend not using it on soft tops? Is it because the chemicals are bad for the hood? Or simply because most applications would be by a pressure washer and this could be bad on a soft top?
no sure but I would guess its might cause like little stains or spots. when you apply fabric sealants you sort of prep the roof proper and mist them and work them in.. the sealant you fire out of a foam cannon and you might be overloading the fabric. but I also think the materials you use in spray and rinse products are different to fabric sealants.
Still on the fence with the polar blast snowfoam but l tell you what, l just bought autoglyms new high performance tyre gel and its really really good if you like the high gloss look and what the hell have got on the beemers paintwork as nothing is clinging on it.... Also digging them tunes DJ..... Jon
I think the beemer just has beadmaker on it. but like old beadmaker. that tune rocks dunnit. was just scanning through tracks and like, thats a good'un :)
Thank you for the great video..lots of technical information and cost breakdown. However having bought these three products I can honestly say they were a waste of money. The pre wash accomplished nothing. After applying a thick layer of foam and power hosing I still had the exact same dirt and grim on my car. I even wrote some words in the dirt before starting and all were still there after pre wash.. the actual contact wash cleaned the car . I used a soft brush..the same result would have occurred with any wash fluid. The seal smelled nice and provided a type of wax film so performed best of all three products. There is certainly nothing that makes these products worth the cost.. you would get the same results using any cheap shampoo as long as you are prepared to use a good sponge and lots of elbow grease..
Hi Jon get vid and answered most of my questions. I use POlar blast and love it now want to use Polar wash my question is I'm a fan of Beadmaker so would I substitute this for Polar Seal?
additional note; Autoglym reccomends not applying Polar Seal more than once a month
important point ill sticky it. thx richie
Forensic Detailing Channel what is the reason for this? Can it have a negative impact on the existing protection or (gulp) on the paint?
it wont damage the paint its just like a bonding siloxane in water.
I've also been offering using it with some customers as a basic-ish offering and they are pleased with it
@@ursocale thanks mate
Cool products good review.
About 7-8 years Autoglym was my first detail company I got into while started my hobby of detailing. Now like most of us I try many other companies and many other products. So many out there only a few great ones.
Great value as usual with Autoglym.
Keep it up Jon with your excellent videos. 👌👍🏻
Been using all three for the last few months. Really has made keeping the car clean very easy. Have only used the Polar Seal once but it seems to do the job.
I like this guy. Always proper explanation and knows his stuff
Hey! Can you do a water test on polar seal? Show us the sheeting and beading? Thanks!
this bundle was my first ever products ...
a year ago it was good but then you go deep in to other companys like bilt hamber and garage theopy ect you know what is best for you thas why its so many companys out there 👍
So the sealant is basically nano boost.
Mogsy28uk . Not heard of these. Thank you for the tip. I’m now on the hunt.
Not sure if its the product but the gloss & shine on the car is perfection 👍
I’ll dig a syringe out Jon and try with 20ml. As they say Jon ”Its a learning curve”😂😂😂
Wife’s just asked if it’ll do for the shower screen Jon😂😂😂 I know it mentions about glass but it’s working bloody wonders on the glass screen😂😂😂
@@lazydave3215 could try yes I think it will bond and work if you spead over with wet rag and then rub dry it should work.
Autoglym are the masters. Even their wash and wax is brilliant
Can't get polar blast in America... Yet
Yes, I know, I'll get it all in a tangle and fall over ... xD
Used for the first time , all 3 products very impressed with the results 👍
Its a direct result of your review thats made my mind up , thanks 👍
can you link me up jason I might be interested. that green hose lol :)

Ideally dry it yes, but if you do not need to it will be ok and you can catch any rinse missed areas during the next contact wash or application of Rapid Detailer or similar.
great info just worth saying this info is for polar SEAL not blast or wash.
Hi Jon, Great video as always. Can u post a link to the cheap wash mitts please? I'm gonna give this a go.
Thanks
Whilst I use my pressure washer for applying this brand of foam (reassuring it appears exactly the same on the car as shown here) I would never dare use my pressure lance on my car (Mazda 6 Soul Red). The paint is so thin. My preferred tactic is a hose lance followed by Autoglym AquaWax applied by hand - superb finish.
Jon are you using this now that winter is setting in? great system for cold winter?
A really helpful video. Being new to these products I have found this to be so useful.
Awesome! Thank you!
Brilliant review. Could not have been better timed ! I have all three products and can’t wait to get out there tomorrow morning and try them out. Cheers
Have used or reviewed Autoglym Coat-it. Similar to Polar seal but only lasts 6 week's. It seems very cost-effective at £35 for 5 litres.
Autoglym really makes it easy with this 3 stage wash. I do want to try put some good protection on it like ceramic wax , graphene or whatever though.
does polar series work better in polar cold conditions?
At least it feels at home in my yard in the northern half of scandinavia, and yes, i hand wash my car in below freezing conditions. Just have hot water in the bucket and you´ll be fine.
Great video. Thanks for sharing. I never got on with auto glym. Now I have all the equipment I need. Mite just try again. Love your videos
Just about to use this kit for the first time, some very useful info in the video, cheers dude 👍🏻
Great review Jon, would you just able to use the polar wash out of a bucket panel by panel if it's really hot? 🤔
Yes m8
I’ve had some of the polar seal knocking around for a while and not used it a great deal so I thought I’ll use it in the winter as a top up and I used it today in with my weekly maintenance wash and the results where amazing now it’s making me wonder when we have products like this why we bother anymore with traditional paste wax’s because this is also safer because it’s no contact I no it only lasts a month and paste waxes last longer but this takes a couple of minutes to apply and rinse off as appose to possibly a couple of hours
As always great detailed review on these 3 autogylm products, like the music you used for the cleaning part of the video.
Which is the best AutoGlymn for removing the dirt so that you don’t have wipe it off. Have used several times with Karcher foam gone but doesn’t seem to remove the dirt?
Wow that’s a beautiful looking car and finish.
I have a New Audi TT Roadster do I just use these products on the rooftop too 🤔
What towel was used to dry the car I wouldn’t mind purchasing one ?
Hey what products and at what ratios do you recommend for a lance sealant in a spray bottle, I'm happy to take the advice for a bargain
Thanks for reviewing theses products, Jon. Just bought a bottle of their snow foam after watching this review.
What do you think would give me the better shine autoglym rapid aqua wax or the autoglym polar shine?
Looks like Autoglym have released trade versions of them today.
If we were to fully detail and decon the car is this series advisable? Are there alternatives better ? And what is the process for full detail polar blast > polar wash > decon > clay > compound/polish > wax > polar seal?
this combo is more to maintain protection and top up protection rather than deep clean.
I think Polar Blast is a standout product, it’s probably the best of the many snow foams I’ve tried over the years.
Just used the Polar wash this morning( with the cheap but very good eBay wash mitt thingys) really saves time and washes really well. I used Bilt hamber snow foam as pre wash rather than the polar blast. Work well together, but as mentioned in your video, I would not want to use in hot weather. Well impressed though as a quick winter maintenance wash.
did you use polar seal as well peter?
Forensic Detailing Channel
No Jon
Because I’ve got Fusso coat on it I wasn’t sure if it would bond tbh.
Thanks.
@forensicdetailingchannel just a heads up the polar seal sealant is scanning in at £10 at b&q even though its £20 on the shelf 🔥😎

What lance did you use? I’m looking at getting all of this but have no idea which lance is best. Thanks
have you used this this winter? seems great when its cold out
Great video, it says on polar wash 250ml of mix solution should be enough for one car, how many ml of polar wash would you recommend, about 50ml.

With the polar wash, do you still need a bucket to rinse? Or do you just spray on, agitate then rinse with washer? Thanks
whatever your preference is. with a really dirty car the rinse bucket is a good Idea I think dan
@@ForensicDetailing Cheers mate appreciated
Could you replace the polar wash by just doing a second application of polar blast and do a contact wash with it? Is it not stronger at cleaning, thicker and clings better?
there are difference between rinsable snow foams and contact wash shampoos.. contact washes tend to contain cationic surfactants or lubricating glycol type surfactants. so if you want to clean your car like the fonze then use blast then wash. but yer blast if you dont want 2 products.
Can’t you use the polar blast instead of polar wash to contact clean?
What drying towel is that? Is it that good usually or just because of the polar seal?
bit of both mate have a read below someone else asked the same thing
What do think of the Polar Seal compared to the Aqua Wax......???
With this trio when could you apply a polish. As my car is need of renewing and cant aford a respray was going to t cut as best i could then apply a polish any tips
Should I rinse off the car before using the autoglym polar blast foam or can I just go straight with the foam, then the shampoo ?
id put polar blast onto a dry dirt film. in my experience it allows it to work better. then pressure wash off. then on with the polar wash and do the contact. then pressure wash off.
@@ForensicDetailing Great, thanks for the reply man
Still the best products today 👍🏼
Hi Jon, would you say polar seal could be applied by a pump sprayer at the right dilution ratio?
yes mate. run it at about 2-3% PIR in the pump sprayer.
Can you use all this with the Worx hydroshot obviously there’s less power but will it still do as good a job? Many thanks
you would need to adjust the ratios accordinly. you would also benefit from a pressure washer to rinse. but if your carefull you could apply with the worx yes mate.
When I wash the sill I go the back to the front, one wipe only. Then rinse. All that back and forth must scratch.
Where did you get your snow foam Lance from? Does it fit karcher washers? Thanks
Hi Forensic Detailing,
Is there any other foam Lance based shampoo’s out there? Not the snow foam, but like the polar wash where the shampoo is applied via a Lance
hmm well like the chemical guys or adams ones can be used in a lance like this.
@@ForensicDetailing have you got the product names for these? As google is being like a alladins cave for results tonight!
just wanted to ask with these spray rinse sealants how does applying them with a wet microfiber applicator and leaveling them with a dry microfiber increase the durability compared to using them as a spray and rinse it it the fact that wet microfiber applicator dilutes the product less then the spray and rinse method or is it more complicated then that?
I think if you spread them with contact you could potentially know you have got them all over a panel hakim.. but when you rinse them they might not get distributed evenly... but you might also soak some of it up into the microfiber dunno.. I think a good wet microfiber, with sort of 95% dry panels, tiny bit of water still on the panel.. then little spritz on panel and spread with the wet cloth.. then you could rinse and dry.. or dry.. dunno I think it changes protect to product with this polar seal its really designed to be lance delivered...
ultimtately you just got to experiemnet my friend and see what works best.
@@ForensicDetailing i ment that method with wet coaat sorry just bought 4ltrs of it
@@hakman239 yer gyeon are pretty adament it needs to be sprayed off. but dunno I like to work it around a panel with a wet cloth.. but just follow OEM guidelines to apply mate.
@@ForensicDetailing thankyou my friend. Any specific type of washing soap?
Can you please link to the sort of cheap mitts you tall about and i couldnt find a vid on the no bucket method etc cheers

Ordered the Seal for my daily driver as it needs cleaning once a week :)
I stopped reading your comment at "brush".
top quality video, makes me want to go for a beer with ya. Cheers for making it. 10/10.
