Great work! I do have some questions regarding Furnace. I'm new to it and to trackers in general and I want to æmulate the waveforms used in Galaga. I know that it uses the Namco WSG chip, but I would like to know: how do you get the instruments to sound like the ones in Pac-Man? Do I have to use wavetables, adjust FM, or am I completely off? I really want to get the waveforms exactly how they are in-game, but I just don't know how to begin. Thanks!
Wavetable synths are the best tbh the only thing that gets close is FM or samples. Waveshapers are also very nice, too bad there isn't a VGM chip that was one
this is actually sick fr fr. i will now totally not proceed playing it on a loop for 24 hours a da- Edit: What software do you use to make these? I always thought something like DefleMask?? i prefer beepbox but it doesn't have as much instruments.
pretty nice snare for a chip without white noise, nice tune
Thanks! I used a ringmod-ish wave to simulate noise and treated it like AY8930 noise, as the midtones are nearly nonexistent
Nice

Cocktail Hour part 2 ahh song.
Namco WSG is incredibly good for its time! Wavetables go brrrr.
Also, AshKirby comment in 3... 2... 1...
Nevermind, Ash's busy.
IIRC it was the very first wavetable chip
