When I saw the length of the set as 3:20 I thought 'wow, that's a marathon gig', not realising that they were taken from 4 gigs /concerts!!. Great upload
But their concerts ARE so long for real! I had a chance to see them twice here around (Ljubljana and Novi Sad on EXIT festival) and concert in Ljubljana was true spektakl for me, it last 3 hours and 45 min, we finshed sitting on the floor and they were still playing on and on and on...Amazing experience, my very first big concert, it was on 1989
we could only go to three of the concerts because we already had our flight booked - ahahahahaha - "only" - the highlight absolutely was forever with the cranes - five guitars on stage - unbelievable....

the difference between Boris & Jason is clearly evident here, Boris turns a song (The Kiss) into something other worldly, Jason doesn't have the power nor the influence to do this in his role as The Cure's "drummer" (that's me doing air quotes by the way)
I totally agree - I loved his style of loops and he had an aggression on the drums that somehow worked brilliantly with softer songs ...just like heaven is a good example that springs to mind
Ah, how young! I left my secondary school (UK equivalent of USA high school) in 1988, and had been into the cure for about 10 years by then. I love how so many age groups like the Cure.
