    Looks like a lot of thought went into this update. I enjoyed it. I love that kit. I have done a couple myself. They are far from perfect out of the box but still manage to bring the layout to life.
    Great work.

    For my Walthers silo kit in N scale, I used Tamiya gray spray primer followed by Glidden Max-Flex Earthy Cane. It gives a very convincing aged tank concrete effect! These Wlathers kits are so easy to build and paint!

    WOW that is very impressive! Flaws? Are you kidding! The warehouse came out perfect! I suck at gluing too, but your skills are better then mine :) part #26? I bet those are tiny parts :) The addition of the silo is a great addition, well done and cool weathering and colours. Combining Lance theme and your goal of adding interest and an appropriate structure I say you have succeeded! What you have accomplished is fantastic and it is very inviting to come over and do some switching at the plant. The dremel hahahahah I think we are all do the same thing. Great video, narration and story, funny too. Well done indeed.

      This kind of feedback from a veteran in the hobby such as yourself is gracious and appreciated but let's be honest... undeserved. The quality and professionalism of your channel, your layout, your projects speak for themselves and are what inspires a newbie like me to experiment and try harder. Thank you for your support and encouragement!

    Nice, I have two of those merged for my Capital Foods on mine. Still need to finish it lol. I have always liked the plastics Pellet facility kit, nice to see what it looks like on the inside, I might have to pick that up for one of my industries. Nice video!

    Great video! Very entertaining. I can really relate. Loved it when you brought out the Dremel for some real precision work 😎. Don’t you love it when the ruler slips on your final pass of the knife 🤬. I have both of those books, and learned a lot from them. I have a scratch build video I need to edit and post. Wait till you see all the mistakes I made LOL. Take care!

    I like your video, a lot! I hope this is helpful, not critical. You can take a common, boring box of a structure and make it a center piece. It comes down to painting, and that means adding depth to your subject matter. On a large flat surface, start with pre-shading, then build up with multiple, THIN, layers. You can always add more paint. It is a good idea to have a photo of the real thing to use as a reference. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, is a pure single color. Concrete is not gray. Asphalt is not black. The sky is not just blue. Black is not black, but a combination of colors. BUY A COLOR WHEEL! Watch other TH-cam tutorials from military modelers on painting washes, pin washes, filters and dot filters. Experiment on scrap plastic.
    All of this is seems daunting, but it is really fun. Even the great modelers look back at their earlier models and shake their heads. Never stop building. Its about the journey. Enjoy it!

    I love your unique video style. Very entertaining. The structure looks great, but I’ll miss the chocolate, vanilla, and slurry spreads. Now you have to stop the directly in front of the bay doors. :)

    • @SouthDown
      @SouthDown  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Haha! Seriously! Considering for how long those bottles served their purpose, sometimes I think that as long as your track is well laid and your trains run without any hiccups, scenery is all in the mind. Thanks for your feedback!
