Yeah shit ass money grave with stoneage technology just to say Europe has it's own launch System that will max out at maybe 3 launches a year. What a piece of Junk!
France is not European or why the differentiation?
A lot of surrender monkeys.
@@gurra5147 It's my choice. I can to showcase my country.
Congratulations from NW Arkansas, U.S.A.
Gratulations to ESA!
Uk election, France election, Arianne 6... so many good news from Europe lately 😊
Really? The commie left will soon stuff it up
I agree, now we can only hope the US does the right thing later this year.
Freedom, democracy and a sensible green energy future for the World. No more facism or dictators please, we had enough of that in past. (When will we ever learn?).
This does more damage in the long run. Prepare to learn Arabic and live under sharia law 😮 but for now, lets distract ourself with this succesfull launch
@@la7dfa Freedom with arabic invasion 🤣🤣🤣
It lacks reusablilty and won't compete with SpaceX cost-wise but the vinci engine is kind of cool. Congratulations from Austria.
first, about "reusablilty", it saves 6% of the cost! If you think we can simply reload this boosters and that's it, you have no clue. this boosters have to undergo a complete revision wich is nearly as expansive as simply build new ones, they are at least safer! Why you you think JWST was launched by ESA? the only thing Europeans should do, is put on more of a show like SpaceX, with fake photos, young people partying in the background etc!
Looking sharp!!
Merci beaucoup
Congratulations 👏 ESA
Congratulations ESA a textbook launch, well done 👏
anyone has the flight path + timestamps? I'm trying to figure out if I've seen glimpses of it in the night sky
Google is your friend. Dont just sit on your hands and let others do the job for you.
@@la7dfa I reconstructed it from the ESA live stream and found out that I very likely saw the upper stage of Ariane 6 in the night sky. Timing and direction fit well at least
When is the upgraded solid booster gonna be ready? They are called P160C right ?😊
Super !
Why can't space launch companies provide commentators with knowledge of rockets to their broadcasters?
It's embarrassing to hear things called by the wrong names and the wrong times.
They seemed pretty knowledable and used correct terminology. I think at least one of them are an actual rocket scientist.
If you hear any strange choice of words, its because they are French and thus not native English speakers.
How's your second language karen!
Come on buddy you know why.
Because in Europe we have such "important high culture" rules like about gender-quotes. This ist one reason, why Space-X has no chance against us "Aliens". Isn't it?
Sorry for this. But you are really right. This commentators (or in german: Kommentator:innen) sound really like amateurs. There is also this obsessive female participation in the broadcast of the European Football Championship. That's fine in itself, of course. But in a studio and as a live commentator in Germany, there is only one woman who you can listen to on football. Because the are competent. The others are consistently annoying with naive self-dramatisation.
That is Europe. We have other priorities.
Congratulations to ESA on the successful launch of this complex, high-performance system.
@@emo2skype you are completely wrong. They sound knowledable, and at least one of them sounds like a rocket scientist that helped build the thing.
Do not mistake a french accent with lack of knowledge.
Congratulations to the entire team of Ariane 6🎉
Hooray!!
You missed the very fast bird 🐦⬛🙄👀
Congrats 👍❤️
C'est magnifique
Congratulations 🎉❤
Fantastic! A new hope for European space flight!
Ariane 6 rocket looks so advanced with twin booster! Space X only has just the rocket itself!😮
SpaceX has massive liquid fuel side boosters which are reusable. They are parts of a Falcon Heavy rocket.
Nice one.
Great to see the European Space Agency having a successful launch once again as always.
Bravo ❤❤❤❤
An anomaly screwup in orbit. Liftoff was nominal 😊 hopefully there is an easy fix. Remember a software screwup blew up ariane 5 first or second launch.
Wait so it doesn’t do a flip and land perfectly? Lame 😒
After seeing so many boosters fly back my reaction to the boosters and stages falling away to be destroyed is, what a waste. I wonder how soon another country will demonstrate reusable stages/boosters?
another space engineer, reusable boosters save only 6% of the cost, and it is not at all a waste saving method!!!
08:49 first stage boost back burn
Yup, we expect more than single use aircrafts in 2024.
It is not reusable😂
French technology ! bravo
😮😊😊😊
Yooohooo
Awful initial camerawork.
Congratulations to European

Zut Alors!!!!!!!!!!!
B movie😂
Ooo look there’s the curvature of the earth, I keep being told the earth is flat 😱🤣🤣🤣
Ah, it's only the refraction of the camera lens that makes it LOOK curved!
And the UK watching with envy. Brexit fiasco.
Syria, Morocco and Nigeria watching with envy. Soon this will be all theirs.
@@Deontjie the uk is full of migrants because of brexit fiasco
As a UK citizen I just laugh at how woeful Ariane 6 is terms of cost reusability and capability compared to SpaceX, plus we have Saxavord, Sutherland and Spaceport Cornwall, watch this space. ;)
What a cute little rocket.
it is a heavy launcher designed to compete with Soyuz and Falcon 9
@@Face2face2024 it's so little. Adorable
Stand next to it. 😂 See how cute and small it is.
62 meters tall compared to F9 at 70 meters
@@Face2face2024 both Soyuz and Falcon 9 are medium lift rockets.
It's smaller than the super heavy lift rockets like SLS, Falcon Heavy and Starship.
At 01:36 I thought she was having a launch of her own. 😉
I scrolled down to the comments to see if anyone else noticed that too.
Ariane 6 is 10 years to late. to expensive, no returning parts. im a space guy, but thats not great ESA ^^
Name some other rocket than Falcon 9 og Heavy. Ariane 6 can du stuff cant and ad better sprice than Ariane 5. Also lots of upgrades comming next years😊
DID
If they keep going at this breakneck innovation speed, they'll have reusability 30 years after SpaceX did 😃
Well USA STILL can't built a decent car or a bullet train yet you still live your lives somehow. 😅😅😅😅
What? Not reusable! Very wasteful nowadays isn't it?
Is this the original video or copied from te original source because nowadays if you do a broadcast of a launch of a rocket. Especially the very first one of a new rocket. Why is there no telemetry of the speed and altitude and a time-line of things that are going to happen like MaxQ SRB seperation. First stage seperation and Fairings jettison. And ESA is Europe. Why is the language spoken from the space launch team French? What is the problem of French people to learn at least 1 second language. And the 2 women commentators that spoke English were not really saying things and also not clear.
Again don't know if this is the real original video or a copy paste on this channel. Also the comments are in French. In highschool they taught us 4 languages including French. It was mandatory for the first 2 years and from all languages this was a pain in the ass and never learned enough to [hear, speek, read and write more than mzybe a simple sentence. On several vacations where France earns a lot of money. In tourist places Nobody can help you telling where to go or anything you want to ask. And for them they miss out the world because they only watch French television maybe French subs in films and series but games have all languages from Europe excluding our own Language Dutch. We have the Biggest Port in Europe and we import a lot that goes to other more in landlocked countries and we also Export massive amounts. So why is there no country that learns Dutch other than some old colonial places.
Kourou space base was created by the French in 1965, hence it is managed by France (Guyane is a French department). April 1968: first French rocket launch. 1973: France proposes to create Ariane european space program. May 31, 1975: ESA created, based in Paris. March 1980: Arianespace, world's first commercial launch service provider, created and based in Evry, France. Since 1979: 275 successful Ariane rocket launches from Kourou. 25 December 2021: historic JWST launch from Kourou.

@@happyslappy5203 Space access has mostly been due to nuclear capabillities. That is why they were funded in the beginning. So it is natural countries like USA, Russia, France etc were early adopters.
I'm an American, and I couldn't be more pleased. Hey, Europeans, we're on the same side, remember? You need someone to hate? Look East.
We are with you all the way buddy, unless that orange cheeto is elected again... Then it will be strange times for all.
Hey, Americans, your country is the bully in the classroom! You have artificially divided the world! If the United States had not blocked Europe, European astronauts would have landed on the Chinese space station! Space exploration is an area that can be cooperated!
😂TINY GENERIC ROCKET. , COMPARED TO RUSSIA&CHINA
LAUGHABLE AT BEST👎🚽30+ YEARS BEHIND😴😆
Too many non- Europeans foreigners
Send your resume, huh.
OK Adolf
Where are the flyback stages? None? Sorry want Ariane 7! What to be a space fairing species with millions of space habitats. The Space Shuttle couldn't do that and neither can this.
It only about having an independent launch system for Europe and not relying on the US, a new reusable system will come in time.
How will they get enough business when SpaceX can undercut them on price with reusable launchers?
@@heliopolisnot needing to rely on non Europeans is more important than economic prowess. This is not a money making venture, but a geopolitical one.
@@heliopolis It's more about European governments having a launcher they don't have to go to another nation or foreign corporation for. It's only meant to to do about 10 flights a year, so the economics for re-useability don't close the way they do for Falcon 9, which is launching two or even three times a week to get Starlink fully operational.
That said, once you take into account the subsidies European governments are paying for it, with the improvements ESA's made to their manufacturing process it's coming in at about $90 million a flight, which isn't too much more than Falcon 9's $65 million.
So they're not worried much about competing directly with SpaceX, but the market pressure does seem to have led to their improving their prices quite a lot anyway.
@@heliopolis Reliability !!!!!!
This is a very boring launch! I think it has to do with the French!
