For people struggling to understand this brilliant piece of writting, because it's so fast paced and nonsensical, I suggest going back to the one liners, one by one. Almost every single "comeback" is a self-burn. Things like "You LOOK so superficial you probably judge things by their physical appearence" it's both a insult and a self-loath. There's also more subtle ones like "we can play this game all night" when it's clearly a day. All liners are full of paradoxes, irony, sarcasm and double meaning. Gets even more hilarious when you remember he's literally talking to himself, so even if he actually "roast" the adversary, he also loses by default. A clever way to demostrate the whole purpose of the show, mocking word-salad esoteric nonsense. In another words YOU SLUMBER, A CUCUMBER!
To explain why he was so hurt by the “it would be an egg” line, it’s because of the “too stupid to get out of a cardboard bag” insult. Whereas a paper bag can have the end fold so the inside is dark and hard to find your way in, a cardboard bag would have the end open at all times because cardboard doesn’t fold on its own, so if you couldn’t get out when the way out is clear and unhidden, it would mean that you’re very, very stupid. However, an egg is entirely different. Animals hatching out of an egg have instincts telling them to, so it’s super easy for them to crack the egg and get out. Because he said it would be an egg, he’s claiming that it’d be super easy for him to get out, the opposite of the insult. It shouldn’t be a hard burn, because it’s the same as saying “it’d be easy for me to get out of a cardboard bag” BUT. Basically Xavier splits into two parts after he finds something out about himself in the beginning of the episode, something which completely changes the meaning of his whole life and renders the past years of his life pointless. He tries to kill himself with a razor, but instead gets bullied by a physically disabled guy in a cargo train while the train is lifted by a helicopter. The disabled dude tries to taunt him and starts shaving off the hairs on his wrist to make some sort of coat or something, but it reveals numbers like the digits tattooed on a Jewish person in a Nazi concentration camp. He believes that it’s a phone number so he goes to the nearest phone booth to call it. The person that answers is the copy/split version of himself. From the angle of the shot it appears that one Xavier is in the desert and one is in a snowy mountain, giving the appearance that they’re in two completely different places. They argue for a while, and the Xavier in the mountains hangs up first which angers the Xavier from the train. They both walk out of their booths, but when the camera moves back, it reveals that the mountains were just a background and the booths were connected. As they exit, they both find each other and realize that they were talking to each other. Which ultimately leads to the beginning of this video.

For people struggling to understand this brilliant piece of writting, because it's so fast paced and nonsensical, I suggest going back to the one liners, one by one.
Almost every single "comeback" is a self-burn. Things like "You LOOK so superficial you probably judge things by their physical appearence" it's both a insult and a self-loath. There's also more subtle ones like "we can play this game all night" when it's clearly a day.
All liners are full of paradoxes, irony, sarcasm and double meaning. Gets even more hilarious when you remember he's literally talking to himself, so even if he actually "roast" the adversary, he also loses by default.
A clever way to demostrate the whole purpose of the show, mocking word-salad esoteric nonsense.

To explain why he was so hurt by the “it would be an egg” line, it’s because of the “too stupid to get out of a cardboard bag” insult.
Whereas a paper bag can have the end fold so the inside is dark and hard to find your way in, a cardboard bag would have the end open at all times because cardboard doesn’t fold on its own, so if you couldn’t get out when the way out is clear and unhidden, it would mean that you’re very, very stupid.
However, an egg is entirely different. Animals hatching out of an egg have instincts telling them to, so it’s super easy for them to crack the egg and get out. Because he said it would be an egg, he’s claiming that it’d be super easy for him to get out, the opposite of the insult.
It shouldn’t be a hard burn, because it’s the same as saying “it’d be easy for me to get out of a cardboard bag” BUT.
Because of how complicated and well thought out the comeback is, the clone is surprises because it’s PROOF they’re smart.

Is that the only thing in this video that gets your attention
Basically Xavier splits into two parts after he finds something out about himself in the beginning of the episode, something which completely changes the meaning of his whole life and renders the past years of his life pointless. He tries to kill himself with a razor, but instead gets bullied by a physically disabled guy in a cargo train while the train is lifted by a helicopter. The disabled dude tries to taunt him and starts shaving off the hairs on his wrist to make some sort of coat or something, but it reveals numbers like the digits tattooed on a Jewish person in a Nazi concentration camp. He believes that it’s a phone number so he goes to the nearest phone booth to call it. The person that answers is the copy/split version of himself. From the angle of the shot it appears that one Xavier is in the desert and one is in a snowy mountain, giving the appearance that they’re in two completely different places. They argue for a while, and the Xavier in the mountains hangs up first which angers the Xavier from the train. They both walk out of their booths, but when the camera moves back, it reveals that the mountains were just a background and the booths were connected. As they exit, they both find each other and realize that they were talking to each other. Which ultimately leads to the beginning of this video.
