110% sure a fan here could 3D print a pretty sick battery cover, with BCW embossed on it, or Mrs WHIPPY logo. New piston and ring, Ping-Ping chamber, NOS 5hp wet shot, trans and brake rebuild. A snazzy paint refresh (keeping it pink). Lit little scooty.
For cargo, you might grab a mount for a top box but, instead of getting a top box, mount a collapsible crate like a 32L crate from CleverMade. It's what I did with my Honda CB500X commuter-mule and it works really well. Holds all the groceries when I need it to. Folds flat when I don't.
28:30 100% Agree on the Cleeter comment. He's such a good human being. Watching what he did with his helicopter this weekend was amazing (hurricane relief work)
Not just that but he ate the cost to boot. He said what 30 hours or w/e run time? Thats a huge chunk of log time before the required maint period which iirc when they first got consuela they mentioned its like 20 grand.
I had one of these when I lived in Houston TX. Sold it and got a Honda XR 75 that I brought back with me to Brisbane. This was a prize in High School for perfect attendance. Out of 3400 students in grades 9-12 I was 1 of 9 that went every day in 1989 (Sophomore year). A girl won it (who incidentally rescued someone from drowning in a local lake so well deserved) and rode it every day to school until we gradated in 1991. I ended up just buying one. Great for the 35 mph suburbs. Cheap as chips to run.
Depending on the foam, you can use a steamer to re-fluff the padding. Cleet used the helicopter in North Carolina after the hurricane damage, moving people and supplies.
The "limiter" you were seeing is because the back wheel is off the ground so you have no load on the motor. You'll only really be able to test how it runs when under load. 👍 Also yeah the rear lights will probably be indicators on the JDM version, it was pretty common in the 80s/90s mopeds. The US and Aus laws needed the indicators to be further up/apart. Here in the UK we often got the "JDM" style integrated lights on the 80s mopeds e.g. Yamah Beluga, so we are JDM AF 😂 Id recommend keeping the oiler if you can, theyre pretty reliable. Sometimes the o rings on them start to leak which can make for smoky startups (like valve stem seals on a car motor), but they mostly work fine. You can test it by pulling the pipe by the case/carb, rev it up and check that you get a slow drip coming out. Its also way easier at petrol pumps to not have to premix. Check if the oil pipe goes into the carb or the case, if its the case you definitely need it as itll be lubing the crank.
I’m super guilty of commenting as the video plays. And then I feel bad about writing more than one comment. But it helps you guys out so it’s okay. “Should I have these out when I’m doing stunts” had me howling 😂😂😂
On anything rubber use brake cleaner to get it on it slide on then evaporate. Used it on exhaust rubbers heaps. Some Bush installs can be done with ease using the same method
@paule4204 in 15 years of being a bike mechanic have never used or wanted to use hairspray with an air compressor there is no need to use any other solution.

“Hairspray” uhhhhhhhh yeaahhhhh *nodding* collectively having the best flashbacks and agreeing that it’s a great idea. Great moment in the internet.

Not sure on these, but make sure it isn’t one of the oiling systems that directly oils the bearings and such not just mixing in the fuel
So disappointed we didn't see a 2 up ride😂
bennys custom scooter works!!!! another great and fun episode dudes!!!

Cant beat a Vision! Rode many of these in fields in the UK when i was younger
The Tyres are cool, good for winter and rainy roads.
They might not be road compliant or too old
Some use trailer tyres.

Taylor Ray has spend sometime recently with dinky Jet Boats.... look fun!!👍
Bicycle grips for the win, air compressed on.
Metho is the easiest to get grips on.

Heaps of channels have those little boats but it will be cool to see Benny build one then Gian will try it and want one too😂
Yes, scooter content 😂
It’s not the first Honda on the channel. The Motocompo you worked on long ago were the first one.
Pull the springs out... enough cushion in the seat to ride nice still

I'm disappointed you didn't put it on the hoist to work on it. For important reasons.
I'm thinking Indonesia or maybe Malaysia for the chamber. A lot of drag racing for small capacity bikes.

I'll be very surprised if our friend Jack (You know which one) doesn't have every part for a small Honda 😂
