Into The Snow PART 1, 4x4 Offroad Adventure | Suzuki Jimny & Nissan Patrol

- On this offroad adventure, the smallest 4x4 (the Suzuki Jimny) and the largest 4x4 (a 5-door Nissan Patrol) went into the snow for another weekend trip in the mountains.
We traveled through the freshly fallen snow and deep mud to reach one of the most beautiful abandoned places on the planet, high above the clouds on Buzludzha Peak.
Slippery slopes, winching techniques, snow wheeling, and frosty landscapes all contributed to an unforgettable 4-wheeling experience.

This jimny is doing the job at 31s, even better than patrol :)
To be honest, they are just 30s :) of course weight is the most important factor!
that's because jimny is the best offroad car, i went with the jimny in places that hillux, patrol and other big cars only dreamed of. It can handle snow, mud and othet surfaces very well

That is not far from the truth to be honest :D Sometimes when the snow is tightly packed the Jimny just stays on top! :)

What I had in mind is that there is no local offroad content to watch because going out to drive off the roads is illegal in almost every country in Europe. With the exception of UK and a select few eastern European countries where it is still somewhat of a gray area...

Good video. but i just destroyed my gearbox in my 99 jimny, running 235/75-15. is this normal? any way to make it stronger? my reverse go boom.

About your question - there are other mechanical parts that usually fail before the gearbox when running larger tires (propsjafts, half shafts, diffs) so I don't think that's the reason... Maybe you just got unlucky

That would be a helpful piece of gear but the space inside the Jimny is always limited. 😄
All terrain tyres are better in snow than mud terrains?
We were both with mud terrain tires so we couldn't make such a comparison.
However, I think mud terrain tires are a better option in deep snow, while all terrain should be better for packed snow.
