Yep. I like this vid. Short, to the point, and accurate. I went through about 4 or 5 vids of fancy intros, lame music, and “shoutout to today’s sponsor!” And then them going on and on about that. This is exactly what I needed lol. Subscribing.
This video worked great in leash training my French Bulldog. The third lesson and she was doing great. Your videos are simple and easy compared to other dog trainers. Thanks so much Bro!
Been following you and just wanted to give props for all your tips and advice. It’s been so helpful on getting me ready for our new member of the family. Always adopted older bullies. First time I’ll adopt a puppy and your videos are very helpful and informative. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
We have a new puppy and I've been watching lots of videos on this topic. I have to say, I like yours the best. In other videos the puppies already seem to be partially trained, but this one gave me just what I was looking for, a puppy who really hasn't experienced a leash before. I think I'll be watching this a few more times before trying it with our guy. Thanks for the video.
I’ve had Mals and rat terriers my whole life and recently got a pit puppy. I treated him like I treated the other breeds when I tried to leash train him and I really messed up. This little dog is a whole new ballgame so I started looking on TH-cam on how to train a pitbull and found your video. I see where I made my mistakes, I’ll apply your methods and hope to recoup the damage I caused. I can see I need to do more breed research for this little guy. Thanks for making a good video you really helped me understand my puppy better.
So I'm about 5 minutes into the video, and I'm impatient, so I pause and go outside to see if these little techniques work. My Pit is about 4 months and this is the first time I've actually gotten him to walk all the way around my yard (or any where else) with the leash on! He even used the bathroom with it on. Thanks for this video!!
Love this video. First attempt was a bad experience and I’ve been slowly progressing to get my 10 week old to not be scared of the leash. He did so much better today doing this methods.
I've got a puppy, around 2-3 months, and her first reaction to the leash was absolutely terrifying - she screamed (not the usual puppy whine), used her paws on the leash, for a fair while - then froze. after she "calmed down" (lossed up a bit her muscles), we removed the leash, & she remained frozen for a little while. I have no idea from where that reaction came. I watched this video to see the more "normal" reaction.
Hi we have a a bully girl 16 weeks. She loves people and other dogs as soon and she sees other people she will literally choke herself to get to them. We switched to a harness now instead of the slip lead.. how do we stop her getting so excited about seeing other people and dogs ? She doesn’t listen at all. I also wanted to ask another puppy question sorry. She bites our hands and growl plays bite, we have yelped back, given her a toy instead but she still likes biting hands. How do we correct this? Thank you.
I just put my American bully on a coller and chain leash at 9 weeks old she never liked it at first I did let her get usta it never forced her to walk for around 1 week but then she took to it and now she loves going for walks and jumps up when I get the lead out
New to your page and to being an American pitbull puppy owner. I’m going to try this technique on my boy. How long do you recommend on doing this technique.
I have 4 kids is there anything different I should do or know about training my bully or follow growing up iron man we would like to be able to take them in the car with us to the kids baseball and football games and have them sit with us can u do a video or give me some tips on these things
Hey i have a question. Im starting a dog podcast and we will have a segment called "Being Bullied" where we only talk about the American Bully. I was wondering if we could get you on the show by phone? Now here's a little insight into the show its not being shot yet but next month we should be. The show is about dogs and dog stuff but like I said the last segment of the show is all about Bullies and with your knowledge and experience i feel it would be amazing if we could have you on by phone or if your in town a quick 5 to 10 minutes would be more than enough. If you're interested in being on please let me know.
@@youngkidz8993 she finally got it, doing great so far, she goes to puppy class once a week and has all commands down , still working on the socialization part, she plays rough in class and always starts with tail straight up so working on that...any tips welcome..thanks for your reply

Introduced mine to leash by simply using treat to make it follow me first time on leash. It was so easy and no resistance.
You are a lucky one. My puli puppy jumps, rolls, bites the leash and won't move and he doesn't give a f... About the treat.
@@viktorhalaj3029 bruh, mine pitbull is the same.. he's just 8 weeks but dammit I have to pick him up and take him in the house at time.

This is way more realistic than any video I’ve seen. I have a very strong willed mouthy puppy 😅

i to have american bully of 61 days and same problems 😅
Same question I have about biting hands! Granted he is only 7 weeks now but I don’t want it to continue the older he gets
My puppy's 3 months old. He's also like that but then, whenever I say 'ssshhh' he would immediately stop then sit down like a good baby😂
How did she do?
Good video Marcus puppies look good
The easiest way I’ve found to leash train a pup is to walk another dog with them. Sometimes you don’t have that luxury, but if you do, it helps .

What is the best Treats to train them ?
Any treat works as long as the dog is capable to chew on it
