How to train your Pit bull Leash Walking! (No pulling)

  • In this video I show you how to train your pit bull leash walking with no pulling. Walking on the leash is not fun when your dog keeps pulling you constantly and dragging you. Leash walking with no pulling needs constant communication between you and your dog. How I trained my dog to leash walk is by walking with sharp turns to keep my dog aware of where im going. I hope this helps with your dog training!

100% correct about letting the dog pull out front being a bad look. Nothing looks more badass than a Bully breed following the leader on a loose leash. Walking my Pocket Bully and staffy together on loose leash makes me feel so proud of my dogs and myself.

I’m so glad I found your account. I just adopted my first pittie. I lost my 110lb Presa Canario in august and miss him so much. I just adopted my new girl and she is so sweet but pulls me so much on a leash. I gotta work on getting her to loose leash walk right beside me like my boy did. Aaand break the habit of jumping up on me and my kids lol. One day at a time

Ahh yes, I have a stubborn American Staffordshire Terrier and found the prong collar a great tool (we started using it a few days ago), consistent practice is key to training any type of dog. I can't wait to train my dog to heel and follow me at every turn. That would be so awesome!

Give a smack on the snout enough for it to be uncomfortable. My husband and I got that from “The Art Of Raising A Puppy” - The Monks Of New Skete
^ Great book!!! Even if your dog is no longer a puppy there is a lot in there even for your older dogs! ❤ That technique has finally stopped the jumping after our pitbulls had been doing it for 3 years!! It only takes a few times and they’ll get the point.
