Great work. Came out clean. I have an 01 v6. With the outrageous truck prices right now I may just go this route and just give mine a make over as well. It's been a crazy reliable truck I've had since 07'. Still going strong but definitely starting to show aging. I really like how the 2010 raptors look. Slow and steady I'll start upgrading, needs new tires yesterday 😅

I ordered a working pop out cup holder 'cause mine was broken for a few years now. Put brand new tires on it like a month ago. And actually today I bought a whole ass assembly of exterior restoration. Got me a SOLID line up of compounds and polishers + an electric rotary polisher with pads and the works. Going in
My buddy and I did his F-700 with the black Raptor and we found that the higher pressure gave a much better finished surface. I think the lower pressure is really for doing a truck bed. It looks awesome. Yours, too.
Looks great, did this with my Wrangler. Also, 303 Aerospace Protectant will take care of those light and dark spots. It conditions the bed liner as well so you won't get fade or it will fix any fade you have. Keep it conditioned and it will last for the life of the truck.

Sick truck bro. Im building a 4.6 manual trans 4x4 reg cab also black but im gonna paint it lithium gray. So far did a 3" body lift and some small things here n there 20x10 blavk rims on 33s i have 35s on the side for when i do the 6" zone lift Good job on your truck brother 👍🏽
@@exantuscreations mainly a daily/work truck that looks nice and can handle a cute trail or two maybe some sand. Mechanically, i just plan for some long tubes and new exhaust, i just had to cut my exhaust to get the trans out so i could do my clutch/plate/flywheel/ throwout bearing, then i had to reweld back in, now i hear rattling coming from the cats i think?? So i want to rip it out and do the whole thing from headers back lol Other than that ARB lockers fr and bk. SAS crossed my mind but i dont think its worth it, and i dont have time like i used to. Im going to paint it Ford's Lithium Gray and black out any chrome and badges. I think its gonna look sick! I love that color.

Hey man, i’m getting ready to do this on my 10 gen f150 step side (jus like yours). I was wondering how many cans of raptor liner did you use? Also how much PSI did you spray at? Do you think it’s worth doing 2-3 coats or is the truck still holding up good? Lastly what grit sandpaper for the whole truck, i was thinking 180 but i just wanna make sureThanks so much.
Sorry it took me so long to answer but I bought 2 cases of the kit which comes with 8 bottles and only used 6 of them. I only applied 2 coats to the whole thing with a dust coat at the end of it to blend everything together. as far as sanding the whole truck 180 should be fine because you just want to make sure the surface is rough enough to adhere to with no clear coat. I plan on doing a follow up video so make sure you subscribe so you don't miss it.

Yup I sure did. There were a few reasons for this, the truck was rusted and in need of a new paint job. But this stuff is low maintenance, scratch resistant and UV resistant so essentially all I have to do is rinse the truck off when it gets dirty. Don't forget to hit that subscribe button.

That is correct Brian to paint the truck over all normal pressure is needed but to finish it up evenly higher pressure is definitely needed.

It’s not a bad process. Just ensure you prep the surface properly and give it a good dust coat to even it all out.

Yup I sure did. There were a few reasons for this, the truck was rusted and in need of a new paint job. But this stuff is low maintenance, scratch resistant and UV resistant so essentially all I have to do is rinse the truck off when it gets dirty. Don't forget to hit that subscribe button.
