That stuff is messy af! Great turnaround though. Im not a big chrome guy, gloss black next to the rhino would be a nice touch. So many ideas out there. Great work!
Yes very messy stuff. And that is a great idea to incorporate gloss black next to the mat bed liner finish. This truck really could have been put out of its misery. But for a truck that lives as a plow truck it will do just fine. And saving vehicles from going to the scrap yard always feels good.
In the mid 90s, I painted my 89 Toyota truck's hood, cowl, wiper arms and fender tops with Duplicolor bed liner and a paint roller. It was a gray truck and I used gray liner, it looked great.
I bed linered my 02 f350 via roller. But i bought a shutz gun to do it the right way. This truck is the look im going for. More uniform texture. hopefully it'll help get my channel off the ground🤷♂️
Great job thanks for posting it. Gives you an idea the power of salt + water mix. Think of all the bridges with steel in them reinforced garage and the pavement on and on. Kansas ships train loads of salt all over North America. We probably over use the road salt.
It's so bad for cars. And liquid calcium on our roads too. So you are in Kansas? Where abouts? Under/oil coating is something we do to try and prevent the rust and rot. It definitely helps. Thanks for the comment!
I just asked the same thing, needing to know how many cans to get. The package on the website comes with usually 6. Hopefully they answer, cause I am doing my 06 f350 dually
Just thinking. I know you guys dont want to get in deep with these projects, but when repairing body panels and find rust underneath, why not take care of it? Least hit it with rust converter.
Yes you are right. We will go in and spray non drip oil rust coating afterwards, or we will dig a little deeper and fix it right. Depends on the project. Our buddy just wanted his plow truck to look better, but it isn't worth Goin too in depth with as it won't be around too much longer.
Hey! We sprayed at about 85 to 100psi. I know it recommended 40-60, but we were very happy with the results we got. We also stayed back about 2 feet and just kept moving and kept spraying
You didn’t use the better gun either that’s awesome, turned out so good! I’m actually going to raptor my f250 this upcoming summer. How many cans did it take?
@@kalebevans7275 That's awesome! It's a huge transformation. We used 8 cans! Hope it goes as well for you as it did for us! Would love to see it somehow when you are done it
Did 8 cans do just one coat or 2? And yeah I’ll definitely try and document it or take pictures and tag you in the comments or post it in this comment thread!
Why would you go through all that work with the cab corner and not at least put a rust converter on the inside to try and stop what’s in there… this thing is just going to rot right back out
Now I'm thinking of all the things I could paint with raptor liner
So many things! Its so useful!
I literally laughed out loud at 6:51 when you used your pinky to close the gas cap 😂
haha doing things in style!
Wow! I would have given up on that one! What a difference between before and after!
Ya this one was not for the faint of heart!
That was quite the transformation. It looked so bad before!
It was really rough before. That is why a bunch of body panels had to be replaced before getting the raptor liner sprayed on
You can get that rhino lining in different colors now. Pretty amazing product that went from protecting just under cars to now a whole car! 😅
@@JTMoney333 ya, I'd like to try another color sometime. Pretty cool product overall
That looks amazing
Thank you! It really did turn out great, very happy with it
Love how this turned out! Very Mad Max aggressive! Now all you're missing is the hood mounted gattling guns! 😜
haha that would be awesome! I would love to make an apocalypse vehicle!
Nice job cam

Great job! Looks good!
Thank you!
It's sad to see a Harley edition in such bad shape but you guys definitely made it look better.
Thank you! Ya it was a sad sight before, but it really turned out pretty cool. Looked like a menace in person

Great work , im planning to paint my f350 as well , how mnay gal did it take to paint your truck??

How much raptor liner did you have to use?
We used 8 cans for 2 coats. Covered pretty well for us.
How many of the cans did you have to use for this truck? Looks amazing, and about to do my f350.
Nvm.. lol. I seen another answer. 8 cans.
How many bottles of raptor liner did you use?
I think it was 8
What color did you use & how many liters ( bottles) did you use & what did you set your PSI at?
We used 8 bottles of black and 80psi
@@RustedRides appreciate you Brother! I can’t wait to Raptor my Jeep
What psi did you shoot the raptor at?

Hi I have to help my landlord but the supplies to do this to his 2004 f250, how many gallons do you use ? Is one coat enough?
3 and a 1/2
How much paint did you use
Ive got an 03 250 super cab i want tp do
I wanna do it on my Nissan titan 2018
If rock guard chips won’t the salt and water get trapped and rot out again?
The CN Rail door 😂
eres chingon

It’s a shame the box was so rough
Ya, it would real rough. Lots of time working salty roads

Normally we would, but our buddy didn't want to spend the money as he is just plowing snow with it
@@RustedRides but he spent the money on cab corners, new doors, a full raptor liner job
I am surprised. there is rust under the truck and you only do cosmetics..shame
We do more, but our buddy only wanted cosmetics. It's a plow truck that only has a few seasons left in it.
The music is awful
