Agreed with you..Some ppl think buy 800cc inline 4 naked expect to perform like supersport 750cc...235kmh for this naked is great enough...Want more umpph go for reflash ecu, full systems etc
For most of you who are underestimation the weight... Let me explain something, the Yamaha V-max does 0-60 in 2.5 seconds... The weight of it is 631lb or 286kg (wet), 1,193cc if you let weight describe your bike then you'll never be able to take the full potential of it! A bike could weight 1000 lbs and still have enough speed and power to overtake other bikes it all depends on the rider themselves. Personally, the z800 is way better then the MT-09/MT-07 the 9 has horrible suspension that must be redone to correct it bottoming out every corner also it wheelies no matter how hard you try not too. The fz07 doesn't have the power that the z800 but it does weight less and is very stable... Now compare them, the z800 is the better of them both
I agree, just commenting about the weight because most people that try the Z800 will find it heavy to handle at slower speed and that is a big put-off for some as they lack confidence/afraid to drop the bike/etc, especially those planning to get the Z800 as their first ever bike.. As for performance, again, most people think that being a 800cc bike it should fly past the little 600cc sportbikes easily but that isn't the case, and they get disappointed. Thanks for sharing your input. :)
hi.. im a beginner.. currently riding a.cupchai lagenda 115. planning to upgrade to a bigger cc bike that i can enjoy learning with.. but now im in a dilemma of choosing 2 of my choices..i like naked 4 piston bike so my choice are cb650f and the z800.. which will be the best bike for beginners like me to start with? naked the z800..im attracted to the look and the 800cc.. engine is smooth..the gear the throttle the sound coming out from it. the weight..haa yup it is heavy.. but like u said once its on the go on an open road.. its fun n fine.. it do give me confidence to try a bit of speed due to it solid feels (i tested the bike 2 3 time) but what worries me still the weight especially a beginner like me on a congested road.. low speed ride. the u turn.. the cb650f.. its a honda.so its well known for the durability and smoothness of their engine.. the weight of the bike its lighter than z8.. give me confidence for daily riding to work. more.slimmer.. seem like it will be much more easier to control on busy road. what worries me.. the price is so little different between z8 n cb650f. haha. i do plan to make it as daily ride bike. so i really appreciate ur opinion and guide here. coz i still dont have a chance to ride the cb650. only sit on top of it at the kedai motor haha. so pls to all biker sifu. tunjuk ajar ku sifu which is better?
Hi, the price of the CB650F and Z800 is roughly MYR 10k, that's a lot of money. Another thing to consider, the Z900 is rumoured to be replacing the Z800, so the Z800 price may change, might want to wait and see on that. Some people use the Z8 daily riding in urban KL, it all depends on the rider if willing to handle it, definitely need more effort to manage the Z8 is slower speeds, traffic filtering. I would pick the Z8 over the CB650F mainly because of the styling and upside down forks.
I have one & everyday I go to work with it - Love it so much :) ... Except the heavy weight (when shut down the engine , turn in small street / dead end , take it out of a motorcycle park => That is a nightmare) - That's all , everything is fine , control this bike is easy , the power is excessive with me ... If you love it , just buy one => It won't disappointed you :)
Due to naked / upright position it's more comfortable & I don't see any problem for filtering once you get used with the bike weight & handling you can judge how much room you need to filter..
Hi bro. Can you make a video based on your on experience n view about which one is better btween z8 and ducati monster 796? Because i saw there is a bit similar on price and cc.. Which one is worth it to buy? I konfius mana nak beli haha
It's been a long while since I sat tried a Monster.. I'll see what I can do. But straight up, what you need to know is that Ducati bikes have to go through a mandatory Desmo service every 24,000 km which costs a lot, what I heard is MYR 3k and up, incomparable to other bikes doing valve clearance check. So if you are going to use the bike daily and/or high mileage, that's something to think about.
wanna ask...where is ur friend that usually ride with u on aprilia shiver?? never see him anymore in ur videos...just wondering could you do a short review on aprilia shiver also? coz it is one of the cheapest bike that have 3 ride modes that i know...just wondering on how it feels and handle when riding it...thnx...
He is overseas working and has sold the bike. I will see what I can do. I did ride it before, nice bike just gets a little hot during slower riding as the exhaust pipes come up under the seat to the tail.
+TheSighBored hahaha...still got a lot of commitments...but ill buy it one day...n ill make sure to ride with u, gordon, papazan and all ur gang before sending my bike back to Sarawak...
TheSighBored no problem...im just 16 years old but i really had a dream to buy superbike...hihi..everyday watching my neighbour riding z800..sc project exhaust...damn good
I'm almost 6' tall. Z800 most fun I ever have on motorcycle.

+TheSighBored you should check out my channel. I just made a video asking for input
230kg is heavy as dirt. My CB1000r weighs less... 😂 although have to say, the looks of the z800 is very convincing.
Just about any bike weighs less than the Z800.. Haha.. :)

How much does it cost for servicing? Are you still riding it? Do you use it daily?
do you think is there any problem for Z800 for filtering the traffic? or it is still easier than those fairing bike for filtering traffic?

@@thesighbored maybe can consider z800 due to its price cheap XP
nice review....
Thanks sifu! :D
i've always wondering, is it taller than your zx6r? because i was gonna buy that bike but since i got sick deal for 636, i choose 636 instead.
I believe it's a taller than the 6R. But then again I raised my 6R by 4mm and it's still not that tall up like the Z8.
TheSighBored u use bar riser for ur 6r??is there much diff ib term of ergonomic ride?

what is your opinion about the new honda cbr250 rr ?
Looks very sporty and aggressive..
R25 is better the most powerful 250 bike.. I have ever heard...
Kawasaki z800 have gear indicator or not??
No, it's doesn't come with gear indicator, you can install after-market ones.
Ohhh...ok
I saw a white and a green zx 6r 636
Where?
what is your first superbike
FIrst big cc motorcycle was Kawasaki ER-6N.
What is the price for the z800?
The last I recall it was about MYR 52k new. Z8 is not longer in production, replaced by the Z9.
Sigh board can u do a review of zx10r?

Nice. Don't worry superbike will always have new models maybe even cooler and nicer..
+TheSighBored ok bro...ride safe safe ride ;)
No mirror?
He removed his....for safety reasons.
you got ABS on in?
No ABS for this bike, I think the newer ones have ABS if not mistaken.
yup the newer version got the ABS. never ride one with abs and wodering how i feel, hahaha
Same here, it feels a bit weird because it doesn't have the brake feel like normal bike when hard braking.. You have to try it to know.
What is the z8 top speed?
I'm not sure exactly, I think roughly 240 km/h. I will need to ask my friend if he can do top speed test. :)
+TheSighBored not bad.
+TheSighBored z8 top speed is 250km/h
cool😊
