This was really good. It explained the components of typography indirectly through its application, then it explained a lot of different font categories and subcategories based on typographic choices, and then it also gave some design reasoning for choosing one font over another for a certain purpose. Thanks to the TOC it also can be used as referenced to come back to later while doing actual design work. Thanks a lot for this video.
I started exploring and downloading the fonts back in 2014 without knowing the types as I had no idea about the categories but with the help of this video and some pages, I got to know more about fonts. Thanks a lot.
Typography is my kind of subject. This platform features comprehensive shows than the other platforms combined. Probably, this show was made for me in mind.
Very good, like sitting in class again (1980s). One thing is to make sure the font has a complete range if it's going to be used with a corporate identity.
Thank you so much for quick and short video for the revision, some time I totally forget the types and starts to design with common version but this is really great video.
I could never remember the minutia of details when I had a typography class in college, but here it’s more interesting compared to learning about it in a classroom lol
I like the details provided on the font types. But, it doesn't actually tell you much about how to use them. For some types it doesn't say anything at all. So the title is inaccurate
This video should definitely have more views! So much value in here!
Excellent explanation 🎉

Do viewers need to have a particular font installed on their computer for that font to be used when viewing a website?
Does Jokerman belong to the decorative font family?
