I like quite a few of these but the biggest lost out of these are Quilfish and Farfetch'd lost evolutions. It would been nice for their original versions to get the love and boost of evolving instead of such attention being paid to alternative versions. It was really cool to see these evolving and a clearer idea of which of the beta Pokémon belonged to which line. For instance, I had never seen the beta Tyrogue before.

If you try Gold / Silver Reforged '97 ROM hack you can basically experience a finalized Spaceworld demo on a Crystal-based ROM. All those Pokémon are in there. You guys should take a look (if you haven't already)

Actually no. I had the same reflection, but after further reading (and testing on Gold Reforged '97) either genders can evolve into Goldeen. Cause Goldeen is not female-only, even in the final games.

However as many evolutions (as Squirtle turning into Blastoise and not into its original evolution) it was just Goldeen to evolve into Seaking. The gold/silver beta tried to bring it back with that fish being the pre Goldeen
Cyndaquil is my all time favorite starter but I love the fire bear so much..I wish that they used it as a non starter instead of scrapping it completely so I could have both lol
He would have been nice to have if you chose Chikorita. And had him available in that mountain area where you catch Jigglypuff and Geodude would have been even better. I mean even in the grass around Goldenrod.
I don't think there was a leaf stone in the debug menu bag. Maybe there is a GameShark Code but I am too lazy to search for it. I will add to the description that leafeon ist theoretically possible but only with cheats. :)

If you ever did the missing no glitch it uses the nidoran m cry and the Pokémon that already exist in this like mr mime and magmar use the cry’s they actually have but since the new Pokémon aren’t considered the original 151 and go above it they use that cry

Some need Heart Stones and Poison Stones which don't work so r.i.p. and some of them don't evolve at all like the starters, hoothoot and hoppip If you look in the description there are all methods of evolution listed. I don't really see the GSC here. This looks like a gen 1 game, with the monochromatic color shemes and the "hairy" pixelated borders. I'm glad they reworked the game style so the sprites to have multiple colors and cleaner lines.

There is a version of the demo with the debug mode unlocked. In that mode you get 3 random Pokémon in your PC and 20 Rare Candys in your inventory.
