JM is so fly and fine! I've seen many entertainers come and go, but no one like him. He is top shelf and reigns supreme in talent. So glad he is here and going to be around for a long time more to come. His artistry is timeless and so is he. God bless him. I love him to pieces. He is forever the Light, a Master, the Man and the King ❣💡🌟💎👑
Yes when the drummer plays during the part I think he sings I’m not invisible idk but the drum break in no such thing was so cool & he prob my fav drummer John played with besides Steve Jordan & Nir Z & man I just loved the battle studies era of johns career 🤩

THIS is real music, clear vocals, great guitar solos, instruments, talent and pure feels. I think music even in the rock n roll world needs a bit of a shake up today. Just tend to see new bands come out screaming down mics, jumping around the stage/into the crowd and playing power chords. then wonder why they never get noticed or get very far.
I think that's a very reductionist way of looking at things. Music is for everybody and people like different things, just because it's not to your taste doesn't mean it requires less skill or talent to play :)
So much Stevie ray Vaughn in that gravity solo, playing with one hand, and especially behind the back, sad thing is most of these screaming fans, don't appreciate what john is doing there laying homage to one of the greatest of all time!
Fantastic. Love the flow. Keith Carlock on the drums is a blast. Killer groove. Looking forward hearing Mr. Mayer for the 3rd time this year. Norwegian Wood here we come:-)
I think this is one of John's top three concerts guitarwise, up there with Where The Light Is and Any Given Thursday (purely because of Covered in Rain and Lenny/Man on The Side)
I'm one of JM's biggest fan and went to see him in London at the O2 last year but I think this is not a monster class performance.... He didn't give his best. A french fan !
He isnt known in the UK either, although I guess he is more so than France, because I don't think he's ever played France? First time I came across him was about five years ago in a Sony electronics shop here in the UK. His Where the Light Is, Live in LA Concert was being shown on all the TV screens (maybe because he's a Sony/columbia recording artist?), but anyway I was impressed by the concert and only stayed in the shop to watch more of it. I asked the staff and virtually everyone else in shop if they knew who this was that was playing. No one in the whole time I was there had a clue and the staff couldn't find the DVD case. I eventually found him by googling the songs later on that evening... .
2024 anyone?
I just come to this video from time to time to Keith Carlock's solo on Half of my Heart. What a master!
Bruno Zaban same here!!!😄
Same, he's the best... Just saw him live with WK
The best part is when he counts John back in. Cuz you can't trust a stoned dude in raver pants to know when to go back to singing his own song.
ABSOLUTELY
Me too bro!
Fantastic drum solo at 48:00, Keith. Just super.
AMAZING
Sam Ogilvie yap!
Keith Carlock + John Mayer = Pure musicianship and awesomeness

Do you like him tho
I love how John takes a break from performing in the middle of a song just to watch Keith Carlock obliterate a solo.
2020 anyone?
yessum
I was there live at the venue. How 10 years fly bye like nothing!
Banging gig
Yeah, during quarantine states
Yes when the drummer plays during the part I think he sings I’m not invisible idk but the drum break in no such thing was so cool & he prob my fav drummer John played with besides Steve Jordan & Nir Z & man I just loved the battle studies era of johns career 🤩

no one has mentioned his sick little breakdown on vultures! what a guy!
OnE of the best Version of Half of my heart . Best drums solo ever, thats for sure
vultures was brilliant
Thanks for coming out this evening... John forgot he was at a festival :-)
john was so freaking high ahaha
this was 2010 prolly alot of Xanax and weed
Wouldn’t that impede his faculty on the guitar?
@@mragunathan1627 Depends on what it was. Certain drugs can even improve your skill on the guitar by giving you a burst of energy.

Exactly. There's no substitute for old-school blistering musicianship and incredible songwriting ...

John and his rugs. They give the stage such a cozy look.
Sadly, some people just don't know! A living legend right there.
This is a test and everybody here in the song within the song beyond the song go go go go go
So much Stevie ray Vaughn in that gravity solo, playing with one hand, and especially behind the back, sad thing is most of these screaming fans, don't appreciate what john is doing there laying homage to one of the greatest of all time!
Much of his style, including the voice is Stevie Ray.
So I saw where someone said this was one of his best renditions of vultures and I have to agree it was pretty awesome
the vultures solo...... oh my god
Incredible!!
It’s really cool when you see an old friend up there playing the drums with John. Keith Carlock on drums! Cool song! 2020 yep!
John Mayer the cargo pants legend.
Brilliant concert. Watching you perform from Adelaide, South Australia 🇦🇺
10 years later, he has all this new fancy gear. The old black strat and this tone still owns all of it.
totally agree
This Half of my heart is the best one.
Fantastic. Love the flow. Keith Carlock on the drums is a blast. Killer groove. Looking forward hearing Mr. Mayer for the 3rd time this year. Norwegian Wood here we come:-)
2021. God i miss live music. That drum solo gave me chills! Was Ole Johnny guitar a little faded here lol! He still sounds great either way
Don't mind me. Just playing one of the greatest drum solos on repeat. Wow Keith Carlock.
thanks for uploading!
Good guitarist good vocalist good J M
Corona is fading to end see your show again
Can’t be the only guitarist here because Keith Carlock is on drums!
Concerts just seem to be better with him on the kit!
and robbie mcintosh too. such a great band
mackintosh with the flying V!!
I think this is one of John's top three concerts guitarwise, up there with Where The Light Is and Any Given Thursday (purely because of Covered in Rain and Lenny/Man on The Side)
I cant even play guitar like that when it's not on the floor
Chase M keep practicing... is not that hard, just takes a lot of practice
The breakdown @ 16:00 is exactly what he played with Jay-Z (D.O.A) at the Answer the Call concert.
Sure is. Now I have to go watch that next. So sick.
I'm one of JM's biggest fan and went to see him in London at the O2 last year but I think this is not a monster class performance.... He didn't give his best.
A french fan !
John mayer is known in france ?
@@Interyou25 he really isn't, I keep telling people around me about him and I have yet to find someone who knows him (some have heard of him though)

what a gift...
After decades of going to gigs I'd got thoroughly bored of drum solos, but the solo in Half Of My Heart was cool. Perfectly integrated into the song.
CANNOT WAIT to see him in Charlotte, NC on Sept. 4th!
This guy is a rockstar
Well a millennial era version of one, anyway
You just don't get grand bombastic endings like that on albums
You’re a real fan if you watched the entire show like you were there in the crowd singing every word when in reality it’s just you in you’re room
This show is worth paying all the fee of the day only for!
Close to my place, nice 😊🤫😶🌫️
Maybe i was there 2010 lol, but i didn't see John Mayer that time .. :/
the fact that this is 2010 is crazy he keeps getting better. I keep imaging how good 2013 John Mayer is right now. Back to practicing
Sadly.. he has lost most of his voice now.. due to his faulty singing style.. bt the pure music in him is still alive!
Ahhhh real music.
such a great set holy
unff john mayer, i love you
Loved Keith Cs Solo.. John isnt easily impressed.. I got the sense he was.. Met Keith once... amazing drummer! Great show..
Tell me about fantasy you know that I got you
The gravity solo..... Holy shit.
proud to be a connecticuter!! :)
Muito bom! Adoro Jonh Mayer!!
amazing concert. Thank you for the upload it made my day!!!!!!
Hes so good
Retro is the future future is
two rock and strat baby!
Gravitational awareness exists on the plane of existential groovyness. imo.
ชอบมากเลยครับ like it so much
fantastic *_*
Cool !
Drumer so good
I'm seriously in love with the girl at 43:36, I think the cameraman is in love with her too, she's in love with John... 1:00:20
I know I'm 7 years late but the girl at 52:18 is even more gorgeus
2024 crew
29:15 - Jeff Beck & Rod Steward - People get Ready
when you have good live sound
It was definitely on purpose. I have seen him perform it this way in several other live versions. There's one where he begins the song that way.
jfc that guy who yells "belief" in between songs is possibly the most infuriating person I've ever heard at a concert
What's going on at 46:14 ??? lol
Awesomeness
I think there was something wrong with either John's or David's guitar
38:21 é de arrepiar
I got your back
I am trying to play my guitar on floor now~
Yeah but he said himself it was an homage to the Edge.....
2021

don't you worry about the carpets and enjoy the music ;)
Nice vocal bend at 40:01.

49:08 such a beauty!
Anyone still here in 2024?
18:59 did he intend that?? either way great improv.
He didn't play Your Body???
2022 ❤️
Is this the Pink pop In The Nederlands?
Mumford and sons played that too!!
No Slow Dancing? That's odd
Is Cuba Gooding JR in the keyboards?
THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I THOUGHT CUBA GOODING JR LOOKS JUST LIKE HIS TWIN
Mayday, mayday.
Danger danger Will Robinson beam me up Scotty
0:54 what a nice smile
Stop❤❤❤
That Crossroads cover is pretty good.
Turgut Kartal its the best rendition so far man
10 anos depois
49:09 that was so fucking smooth
Pinkpop has had, still has and always will have the SHITTIEST music mix. It's like I'm listening to the audience.
Mr. Hadrov One step above listening to someone's phone recording from the audience where you can hear the heifers screaming for his attention
i'm so glad i'm not the only one complaining about the mixes every fucking time.
Getting big ‘U2 - Bad’ vibes from heartbreak warfare
Death of autotune intro on vultures 1620? niceee
