Your best ever video -- slo-mo is incredible, and the side-by-side-by-side is the best thing I've ever seen!! His technique is so clean and so unbelievably consistent. Nobody has ever moved like that in the sport, ever. Never with that level of consistency and fluidity and control. We are blessed to live in this time. Sure, many years in the future there will be new lifters who will surpass Lasha's records. But will even 20 or 30 years from now, even if his records are surpassed, will anyone ever move like he does? It is like the people who were there in the prime of Michael Jordan's career. There are guys who have broken some of his records, jumped higher, scored more, since then, but no one has has come close to doing it they way he did. I suspect 25 or 30 years from now, they will say the same thing about Lasha.

Georgia Forever✌️@biscaynediver
Lasha only have one oppent, himself. nobody can reach this guy. Living Legend!
500kg total is getting more real with every Lasha's lift! Incredible
i think his trainer and coaches say that he can get 500kg but hes waiting for olympics
With how easy those snatches are I could seriously see him pulling it off. 220 should not look like a warmup lol
Realisticly i see Lasha making 225/269 for a 494 kg total. I do not think 500 will happen in competition, but I do think Lasha is capable of a 500kg gym total if he ever were to go for that, since competition setting is harder than in a gym setting where you can rest and try as many times as you want
Andy Butler yeah I agree. It’s a tall order to make two all time world record lifts in the same competition when you have time restrictions and all other stuff that goes into competing. It truly has to be his best lifting day in order to see him even do 490+ total
I think it comes at the Olympics
2020 Olympic
Lasha vs Talakhadze
The founder and the sole member of the 480s club.
He is the best ever without any doubt. He has no competitors neither today nor in the history of this sport. We love you Lasha
あとは健康で生きてほしいですね
@@user-sn4bi6er8o sure
He really is unparalleled, but on a non creepy lusty note, not unlike your passionate comment..He is so deliberate in his attempts, his technique is classic, even without intense scrutiny and comparison it is clearly evident how studied he is. Additionally and what set him apart, is the dominance he has over the weight, so assuredly sits under the whip of the world record, its insane to watch let alone even consider.
@@Juxtaposed1Nmotion ))) agree

Хороший чемпионат. Лаша просто монстр. 220 как метлу, 264 очень чётко и я думаю с запасом. Слава Грузии!

Before I used to squat there was a guy in the gym squatting a ton of weights ATG and It didn't impress me, then later I got more interested in squatting and started taking it seriously, only then did I understand what the other guy did. In the same way, this performance is most revered by those who have fought with the weights themselves, the full gravity of this feat is lost on most others. I include myself in the latter category, its difficult to comprehend.
Also notice how he always points to God or bows with his hand on his chest, each lift he tells his audience that without the ultimate power above he could not have done it, true humility, a man worthy of praise.
He literally moves 208 kg like he does 220 kg. His consistency is unbeatable and legendary
He could have power cleaned 247kg... Look how high the bar gets. WHAT A MONSTER.
Everyone talks about Usain Bolt and the 100 m sprint, but the most dominant Olypian is LASHA.
ATG Videos are the best. The angles you choose show the connections a lifter has with their coach
He is a God damn forklift
Great video, thanks. Love the comparisons of the different weight attempts, it gives you an idea of how incredibly consistent this guy is: all lifts look identical. Awesome.
Thank you for posting this. These slow-motion clips let us see the speed and angle of each movements and parts of these lift plus the comparison of each 3 lift is very cool! Back angle, height of feets in the air, foot placement...Lasha is on another level loll
Only Lasha can make 264 look easier than 247
He seems to be a really humble guy.
Gregor, you are a gift to the weightlifting community
ATG shots are just superb. Pure pleasure to watch! Lasha is out of this world.
Once a century athlete
This Man is such a legend, God bless him..
Лаша вне конкуренции...респект и уважуха грузинскому богатырю.
Gotta love how hyped the camera man in the back was getting lol
dude that slowmo is just poetry in motion
I'd love to see what he could do in strongman, what a king
he could probably do much in the strongman, considering his bodyweight and proportions, but only thing that sport is doing right is destroying your body and causing injuries. He has conquered the road of weightlifting and should continue breaking records till the end of his career than wasting his potential in strongman.
@@DrunkenSailors1 ...
Naaa....strongman is cool and underground, but oly weightlifting is for kings
he has the chance of breaking the legendary 500kg total
Yeah he'll get 500 before the end of his career, no doubt. I wonder what the split will be. Maybe a 227 snatch and a 273 C&J?
Здоровья и успехи ,230+270 реально ...
Да ни хера не реально.
@@arkadybadareev1763 2021 - Lasha did 270. please hold my sprite)
Never get tired of seeing this. 10/10
Such an amazing lifter.
amazing video edition, well done!
Is that really a 264 kg c&j ? Cause it looks more like an empty bar to me
That's a lot of power, the bar goes very high.
TITAN!!!
Just look at the cameramen :D
That's so wholesome!
God mode
I can't even comprehend this level of strength
Abkhazia and Samachablo ( fake "south ossetia") is Georgia! Russia is occupant.
Love these videos! Great study material.
And who the hell give dislikes to this video?!!

Beast ! Hope olympics not get cancelled so we can see him pull 500
holy moly as a noob seeing this i now can properly appreciate his technique
Weight lifting is more impressive than Power lifting. Lifting over head looks strong to people.
When he gets older and retires from weightlifting (god willing he has no injuries) can you imagine what a machine he’d be in strongman or powerlifting? Would love to see it
QuantumPbenching is very different sport
Maybe strongman cuz its cool, powerlifting ?? Naa...its a bit boring.
Very different sports. His explosive strength wouldn't really help him in the carry medleys or AMRAPs for strongman. I can imagine he'd be good at powerlifting though.
My countryman, so proud of him. Easily can 225 snatch and 268/270 c&j .already one of the best weightlifter that has ever been on planet. And very humble guy, with a great personality.
ლეგენდაა უკვე
The Greatest of all time
What an athlete
Tokyo 2020 223/267/490kg or already 230/270/500kg?
i am georgian and in tv show lasha sad that he has already done 500 on training session, so its not impossible for him at all
The belly gave him momentum 🤭
With a belly like that it must be easy to get under the bar as fast as possible
I don’t understand how this is physically possible. On another note I wonder how much he deadlifts
David T I mean he weighs 170kg, there are guys who clean and jerk 3x their body weight. Relative to his mass it’s not huge, still impressive but he’s a giant
@@lynchy8888 that is not how it works up to a certain point the pound for pound performance always gets worse the higher the body weight of the athlete at his peak is. pound for pound comparisons are meaningless cleaning 3x bodyweight at 70kg bw is routine for elite lifters while doing it at even 140kg is physically impossible and beyond superhuman
@@lynchy8888 You'er not seriously bringing up the power to weight argument here are you?
Respect and best of luck Lasha :)
This guy could probably C&J 5 reds per side! 😮
What a BEAST
beast
not much else to say
Me encanta la reacción de los entrenadores, parece que hicieran tanta fuerza como el mismo Lasha y luego sus expresiones de emoción y alegría son geniales.
Pasion por el deporte
He makes it look too easy😩
Is there anyone who knows what the georgian coach is screaming to Lasha at 1:38
I am from georgia but, even i cant hear and explaim what he is screaming he is saying like xo midi moumate dzlieri+ yea go more stronger
What Giorgi tells him nearly all the time is:"recall everything! be daring! hold it firmly! hammer it when the bar reaches your ears!" At least, that's what I remember from what I have watched in other videos.
Black Luka thanks for answer :)
demuri jincharadze thanks :)
I am Georgian too ..... It’s at 1.38 that coach George Asanidze shouts, “NELA,” which means, in this context; ,,BE CAREFUL! "...And in general, the word ,,NELA" means ,,SLOWLY"....And then something like ,,WORK TO THE END ! "

This is art
He get so fast under bar, super technic
Beast!!
It isn't even easy to pick 264kg off of the floor, let alone fling it overhead.
Knowing what 264 kg feels like, really makes this even more incredible to watch.
99.9% of people wouldn't be able to get it a centimeter off of the ground.
Поздравляю Лаша Талахадзе желаем удачи Грузинского 🦁...
He could definitely try for the 500kg total
He surely can try to go for 225 in snatch but 500 in total is in my opinion a limit no human ever will break
500 is impossible. 275 clean and jerk is impossible
Thermophile not for him, 18 more pounds, he’s got that.. 227 and 272.. or 273 whichever they wanna call it 600 lol
@@bodacious117 I wish you are right ;))
@@bodacious117 It's 35.2 more lbs. That's pretty significant for Olympic Weightlifting at those kinds of numbers.
Jajaja enhorabuena el gran León 🦁 del Georgia Lasha Talahkadze felicidades...
He gets under the bar SO FAST no matter the weight on the bar!
წარმატებები დიდ ქართველ ლომს 🦁 ლაშა ტალახაძეს...
Awesome..
i think that day lasha had 225-270 in him
230+270 = 500 ;)
Unbelievable strength!!! Beast!!
Beautiful 😱
The strongest human to ever have walked on earth
Debatable
@@denisflorian2431 u dont realize how amazing 220 snatch is if you think its even debatable who is the strongest
This guy is super strong. But you don’t know every human being existed on earth. Most likely there are guys much stronger than him but we did not know them.
WTF he just keeps getting stronger and stronger...
I’m impressed
Lasha and Shi zoyiong are two individuals that make the other competitors in their categories look amateur lifters
I think this guy should practice powerlifting after he retires of weightlifting
Insane strength
I believe he's capable of doing 500 in the total..
Perfection!

Nothing to see here, move along, just some *Unstoppable Force* is moving *Immovable Objects.* That's all.
230+270=500 is pretty close
nice editing
Wow.. so beautiful
На изи молодец...
it was
500
Leonid would’ve been proud if lasha broke his record (though it’s unofficial)
ASTONISHING! :o
#1
There's not ANY grimace as he's pulling it off the floor.
georgia - saqartvelo - gruzia - gurjistan !!!
Its 225kg + 267kg now
This man smokes strongmen in a pipe.
Why does it look so easy
Because he trains hard...
@@AK89-K Wrong logic, everyone trains hard but no one makes these weigths look this easy. Its rather genetics. He is literally a giant compared to normal people.
@@mightyninja7915 you are wrong. Look at his early years, he was small and didnt lift heavy. It's hard work and dedication. He didn't quit and kept going. Champions do what other don't, they go beyond...
@@AK89-K I never said he didint work as hard or harder. All i said was 7 billion people will never be like him even if they work as hard as him. He has incredible
1- max stregth
2- explosiveness
3- height
4- genetics to respond to training well and get 100+ kg body weight
etc.
@@mightyninja7915 when he was young he was very skinny and weak😕
So why he didnt hold world record for C&J ?
