    I love how at the end he gracefully takes off the bag of ice from his wrist that was obviously bothering him for a photo with a fan. No doubt not only a great weightlifter but a great champion with a heart.

      i was living close to Lasha when he was growing up...he was a really good kid, Always helping his neighbours and his father.. loved hard work since the beginning.... if is friends needed help Lasha was always there.. iam really proud of him

    Hes clearly the greatest ever. Hes prob the most dominant champ of any sport.
    He wins easier than bolt won 100m in his prime. I think the could snatch 230 with how easy 220 looks.

    I started lifting in 60s following Olympic lifting by 1968 hoping that Bednarski would defeat the Colossus Zabotinsky a naturally huge man like Lasha not built up from under 100kg like the great Alexeev.
    This present super is the best of the best in snatch and clean&jerk from past and present that will certainly push snatch over 230kg 507 lbs and c&j over magical 270+ kg 600 lbs as his lift were all done with so much more to go....

    I think the big difference between the elite Chinese lifters and Lasha is the volume of competition - barely any of the lifters who've ever touched a barbell have been in Lasha's weight class, where most of them have been in that ~70-90 range. It's a lot more probable for a little gear to beat a lot of gear when there's a lower chance of the lotta gear class having had a near ideal genetic freak come through the ranks before.

    Lol 7:20 70kg is unable to push on the chest. That happens to me with a broomstick during warmup. I have to clamp it to the chin. But as soon as I have an empty bar that's allready settled.

    I just hope that one day he isn't revealed to be full of steroids and other drugs. I'm 64 years old and Lasha is the best of my lifetime.
