Just got a 78, but it came with a cb400t Honda engine. It's been chopped and needs a lot of work. You gave me inspiration
Those Honda 400s are pretty solid engines. Good luck to you and I'm glad to hear this old bike brought someone some inspiration !!

Sweet GS. What’s the tach ratio? And where did you find it? For the life of me I can’t find a tach for my build.
It's 2240:60 , "drag specialties". Mike's XS has them, they are on eBay too.

Hey brother. Whete did u get the hard tail kit? I cant find none online foe my 81 gs750
1 inch heavy wall tubing and a good bender my friend. I'm a fabricator by trade so I mod my own frames.

I have a ‘77 I’m about to do this with. Where your swing arm bolts up. Did you leave it factory or did you weld that up as well?
