Does anyone know if you can run staggered set of 20 inch front and 21 inch rears on a Gen1? If so, does anyone know what the tire size would be? Not looking to modify the suspension (yet).

I want them now on my 2009 r8.. how did you come across those wheels? Have you ever considered to paint the brake calipers?
I came across them in R8talk marketplace section. The gentleman sold his gen 2 with aftermarket wheels on it. And yes I really want to paint them red because I like the contrast with the black and white.
How does it feel in driving terms compared to the stock ones?
I've heard someone with a r8 v8 gen1 and those gen2 wheels having to switch back because it felt worse.
It looks spectacular with them.
The drive is very much the same. Handling and everything. I was on a canyon rally last weekend and it handled like a dream.

Do you know if Gen 2 oem TPMS sensors are compatible with Gen 1 R8s?
Yes they are. I just had to go into the dash mode control and reset the tpms. These wheels came with the original sensors from the Gen 2

@@AndrewNobleOfficial So thanks to this vlog, I ended up getting a set of these Gen 2 wheels in machine/gray! 2 questions if you don’t mind: 1) assuming you stuck with Gen 2 tire specs, any issues with awd system? 2) are the gen 1 stock lug bolts work?
@@rakaun8277 nice that’s exciting? I’m happy for you!! I still love mine. There has been zero issues running the stock tire size with the Gen 2 wheels. I have buddies running bigger aftermarket tires and haven’t had issues either. And the lug patter is the exact same just the rears you will have to run a hub centric ring.
To be honest I think Gen 2 Audi R8 wheels look better on gen 1 Audi R8
