For almost 10 years our customers have asked us for glossy aerosols. Sure there was always Plasti Dip and Glossifier - but it was time to evolve. Introducing two new Gloss HyperDip™ colors - Piano Black and Black Emerald Metallic. Two aerosols that produce a glossy, paint-like finish straight from the can. No clear coats or glossifier style products needed. These are the most advanced peelable aerosols on the market. We are so glad to bring them to you. Enjoy!
Hyper Dip™ can NOT be stacked with any other Plasti Dip or non-Hyper Dip products. HyperDip should only be used by itself, no exceptions. You can however apply Gloss HyperDip over existing Shadow Black HyperDip if you follow these instructions: The existing Shadow Black HyperDip needs to be in good condition - no rips, tears, holes or stains. You need to wash the Shadow Black with soap and water, and allow it to dry for 24 hours. Then clean the surface thoroughly with PreDip Spray, then again with isopropyl alcohol. If all those steps are completed carefully, then you can apply 2 wet coats of Gloss HyperDip on top.

*YES - you can apply new Gloss HyperDip over existing Shadow Black HyperDip* . Here's how: 1. You will need 2-3 cans of Gloss depending on your wheel size and style. 2. Your Shadow Black HyperDip must be in good condition - no rips, holes, stains or texture. 3. Wash the Shadow Black Wheels with soap and water. 4. Allow 24 hours for the wheel to dry (super important). 5. Clean the Shadow Black with PreDip Spray. 6. Wipe the Shadow Black with isopropyl alcohol (any % will be fine). 7. Apply two wet coats of Gloss HyperDip as you see in the video directly over the Shadow Black. Good to go!
No, you CAN NOT apply HyperDip over Plasti Dip. No you can not apply Plasti Dip over HyperDip. No exceptions, don't even ask.
Is that 1 can per wheel, or just one can for all four?
is Hyperdip as durable as normal plastidip?
Is there a minimum outdoors temperature you recommend applying these at?

When you get your gold play button for hitting a million you need to hyperdip it.
Once you hit 1 million subscribers you have to dip an entire car with aerosol cans.
I was wondering how a roof wrap would look in Black Emerald Metallic Hyperdip.
@@natew2031 I asked them last week about using hyperdip on a roof. They said the cans can't spray down and keep a good spray pattern.
He'll have forearms like Popeye after that.
@@batvon39 I sprayed 5 FJ Cruiser wheels with 8 coats of gold and 4 coats of glossifier. It looked great, but I couldn't pick up a pen for a couple days.
@@indiefab I don't know how you even made it through...my hands were done after 7 coats on my 18" wheels. No one ever mentioned the fatigue 😭

That gloss is crazy...looks better than a lot of black paints. Congrats to the team, you guys have come a long way from doing chrome deletes in the driveway.
Looks like a bunch of people want this instead of the shadow black they already have...would you guys consider making a standalone Hyperdip glossifier? Also I'd love to see a gloss anthracite grey hyperdip!

I used this about a month ago, and it’s basically plastidip on steroids. It does come out smooth, has a satin look. Hard as hell to clean. If you want a gloss finish, you are best served getting a bonafide gloss paint

How does the shine and material hold up with regular weekly washes and is there a preferred method of washing the vehicle (hand wash over drive through)?
How does the material hold up with scratching? An example: when a tire shop may remove the wheel for regular balance and rotations? (I ask since I saw in this vid that you sprayed the lug nuts and didn’t attempt to remove, cover or peel the dip off of them.)
Trying to get an idea of durability and how easy it is to maintain or repair.

Is it better to take your wheel off and use it so that you can spray the inside as well? Also what about removing the wheel after being sprayed will the hyper dip rip off the lug nuts?

How well does this hold up on the lug nuts with regular tire rotations?
So, what happens if you have to take the wheels off, for some reason? Does the dip get completely ruined? Does the socket still fit without issue? Will it need to be redone afterwards?
I am sure this question has been asked several times but how many car washes can a get before your awesome product starts to peel. Also, are there certain wheel cleansers I should avoid with your product, I.e. chemical guys wheel and tire/ Turtle wheel and tire cleansers? Thanks again and keep coming with awesome products.
So I have a 2020 blazer. The RS version has gloss black door moldings which are plastic but are painted to gloss black. Mine is just matte black, can I use hyper dip gloss back on my door moldings?
I just purchased a 2014 grand Cherokee and I want to get rid of all of the chrome. About how many cans do you think I would need to do all the trim pieces (not including the 5 cans in the wheel kit)?

Just watched this vid bravo to the plasti dip team they have finally made the product I've been waiting for I've ordered black glossy straight after watching this vid was going to get my e69 wheels powder coated black but not now I've used the Matt on two other cars so I know the method & results but now with the gloss no need to spend big money on wheel shop carnt wait to do the wheels
Can you use this product on interior trim? Assuming you apply correctly, will it last? I assume so as you can use this on the outside of a vehicle?
Would you use this on the lower bumper cover that gets all the paint chips? My Audi is Black as well. I'd love to protect that paint.

Could this work on the metallic trim pieces where the convertible top seals against (BMW E93). I'm worried about it peeling off if the top is up for a decent while.

I've used the hyperdip on my emblems and it's absolutely amazing but now I want to use it on my rear spoiler. I have a Ford Taurus with the factory rear spoiler with same color as the car, will hyperdip work on a OEM spoiler, will it stick to the car paint as it does on the chrome emblems? thank you
