Roger Federer is by far the greatest tennis player to have ever graced the tennis courts of the world. He plays every shot in the book with perfection and chases down shots and hits winners off them like no other player I have watched. It would take a freak to outdo Roger. Novak (Djokovic) is a power player and without that he really would be nothing …. he is also extremely arrogant and thinks he is the best but he is not. Roger Federer is an amazing example of how Tennis should be played.
Again, let's keep it in perspective people. He is not by far the greatest player. I admit he is good and won a significant number of grand slams, but Djokovic is still playing and if you pay attention, Djokovic is not all about power. Have you really watched enough tennis? Borg still has a higher winning perecntage than Roger and playing in a shorter span of time and with older technology. That is a testament to better training and discipline without a lot of high-paid trainers and consultants. Roger is definitely in the top 5 but he's not "by far the greatest tennis player...blah blah" Please keep it real.

No other tennis player has received so much universal love, and rightly so. I remember when Mirka and Roger played doubles at the Rod Laver Cup. I even remember how Mirka drank from her water bottle... total class!
Aside from Roger's spellbinding artistry on the court, I will never forget the post-match interviews with Jim Courier. Jim and Roger had each other figured out and it was unique how the two would tease each other. ❤❤

Roger owes his entire success in life to Mirka. On the court he probably would have been successful even without her, but in life he would have wound up like many other athletes who became failures because of drugs, wild living and liaisons with all kinds of women. Through out the years Mirka went every where with him watching him like a hawk. He's a lucky man.

Roger Federer certainly left a massive gap in the world of tennis. In my case unless I watch Laver Cup I wouldn’t have a clue of the current new players are. Just a bit of observation the twin daughters are 60-40% more of Roger but the twin boys are 100% Roger.
