    What drinks are you making from home? Try the RunPlayBack chai latte recipe in the video.

    this is the video that decided for me this would be my first steamer/frother for making chai lattes at home (though it appears to have changed brand names and the quality might be not as good under the new brand, I bought the old brand one though to be safe), thank you for this!😀

    Hold the blue button for seconds for cold liquid, press the blue button for already warm/hot liquid

    I'm about to buy one to make matcha lattes! I intend to use just a little water and a scoop of matcha to make a concentrate/break down the powder--NOT to froth. Then I'd add that to my almond milk, iced or hot, and stir. I hope it works and I didn't just waste forty bucks lol!

    • @RunPlayBack
      @RunPlayBack  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That will definitely work, I've done that before! Just be sure to use the whisker and not the frother attachment.

    If I have powdered chai... should I mix that with hot water first then put it into the miroco, then the oat on top, before turning it on? Thanks :)

    • @RunPlayBack
      @RunPlayBack  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah absolutely you can do that. Just put everything inside and it will mix and heat it all up at the same time.

    A friend bought me one for my birthday. Is the bottom supposed to click on or do I just place it on top when I plug it in ?

    • @RunPlayBack
      @RunPlayBack  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just place it on top when you plug it in then press the button on the front. Takes about 5-6 minutes to mix.

      @@RunPlayBack this morning, I ended up transferring the foamed milk into a pitcher and steaming it for like 30 seconds with the steam wand on my Espresso Machine.
      (Espresso shots were already pulled).
      It seems like these frothers are better for frothing but not so much to get the milk hot hot for lattes.. I like my lattes starting off hot, so I can slowly enjoy it before it’s no good lol
      How’s your experience with temperature of foamed milk?

    • @RunPlayBack
      @RunPlayBack  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@annm.1561 That's a great tip, thank you for sharing! So actually my main drink that I use it for these days are Bulletproof Coffee Lattes. So I brew up some Bulletproof Coffee and while that's happening I'm using the frother to mix coconut milk, sweetener, ghee and MCT oil. Once I combine the two, the temperature is very hot. So granted, I'm probably putting in more coffee than an espresso shot but the temps are fine for me. I also drink it pretty quickly rather than slowly enjoying it which I should do instead. :)

    I put the milk between the minimum and the maximum line for the froth and it just spilled out everywhere... I’ll just put it to the minimum line I think

    • @RunPlayBack
      @RunPlayBack  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is why I only use the whisker instead of the frother. I don't get as much froth but it avoids the overspill.

  • @acehobojoe
    @acehobojoe 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I got that same one..
    I'm trying to figure out how to get it to have good froth consistency

    • @ironsugar5359
      @ironsugar5359 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      same!!! I feel like the default setting makes the foam a bit too thick for my liking

    • @RunPlayBack
      @RunPlayBack  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a good question - I think if you're using the frother, you have to manually stop it before it overflows but not too soon so it reaches the proper temperature. I know that's pretty annoying. I generally just use the whisker these days for everything. I do Bulletproof Coffee in it now so it's more about emulsifying MCT Oil with coffee, milk and sweetener rather than the froth.
