    I bought the Latisimma years ago, and after some years it was broken. I'm watching a lot of reviews to see if we should by another coffe machine with a milkfrother. After the Latissima we bought the ordinary Citiz and have used it loads and for several years now. It looks like the Creatista and the Vertuo have their downsides, and therefore I probably will by another Citiz which last long and is priced low. Thanks for the review.

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  ปีที่แล้ว

      We use the Creatista at the mo and love it but the Citiz really is still a solid choice. At least if the aeroccino frother broke it would be easy to fix or replace 👍🏼 Maybe not so simple with the Lattissma or Creatista if it’s not in warranty 🤔

    Watching this video having a morning cuppa, it looks extremely stylish and after your demo it’s a nice machine, I agree for that price there should be a quicker heating up time and far more coffee drink choices. I would not use the hot water at all but that is my preference. I am interested to see what other followers have to say. So nice to hear your wife’s opinion. Thanks very much.

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah for the price you expect more don't you. I think I'd be using the kettle over the hot water spout too but guess it's a nice add-on for those who don't have much counter space. It's amazing how many people want to use the machine for hot water from the comments we've had in the past. Will pass that on to my wife 👍

    I appreciate ❤️ and I mean I really appreciate this small investment. Having my Latismma Pro allows me to "Create a Life Worth Living" and steal little moments of mindfulness pleasure. (Side Note) I also descale mine using Peroxide Food Grade to clean when prompted, then I follow the steps as normal!
    The milk frother makes it all worth it! I honestly feel it is a great alternative to Starbucks and Carabo Coffee. I get to have my cup of coffee Friday, Saturday, Sunday Monday mornings. I also use the hot water to make my tea with cream or not, and cups of soup.

      Hello. I have a latissima pro that is 6 years old and it still works. But it has started malfunctioning just a little, (system empty repeat delivery) it rarely happens but it does. We loved it so much we wanted to buy a new one before this one quit, however, the new one, the frother didn’t work. It’s not the actual frother bottle that doesn’t work because we tested the new bottle on our old machine and it works fine. It has to be the rapid cappuccino system itself some defect. They repaired it and it worked for 2 weeks. Then it was spitting out hot watery milk again. They gave us a new machine, and it only worked for 3 weeks before it just started sputtering out a few drops of hot water. Again the frother worked fine with our old machine but wouldn’t work on new one. Finally, we told them to give us the creatista plus instead. Haven’t received it yet.

    I'm trying to decide on which Nespresso machine to buy.. I think it's going to be the Citiz or the Lattisima. However, I'm not sure which one's better if I want a milk frother? The Lattisima or Citiz with an integrated milk frother, or simply the basic Citiz and then buy a milk frother seperatly? Thank you for the great and very informative videos! :)

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for that, glad you like the videos. If it helps at all, out of those choices I quite like the citiz and seperate aeroccino 4 milk frother, as it has an extra froth latte macchiato setting and you don't need to remove the spring if you want less froth. It's also dishwasher safe. Though I guess you could buy whichever milk frother brand you wanted 🤔

      Hi 👋 Always great to hear different opinions. I personally just prefer the texture of the milk froth from the Aeroccino or Creatista steam wand, so find the milk based drinks nicer using those. Guess that’s why Nespresso have so many different types of machine though, something for everyone 👍🏼

    • @wernerschroer6138
      @wernerschroer6138 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No it doesn't. I've bought the machine 18 months ago and I stopped using it after a month or so because I wanted decent milk froth that didn't collapse after a few seconds. This expensive machine doesn't produce good milk froth and if it is froth you're after stay away from this machine.

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there. My honest reply would be it depends what discounts are available on other machines. If you know a lattissima is what you want then it probably is, but even then the lattissima touch offers more settings - all be it with a smaller frother - for less money. I like the creatista machines myself but they might not be to everyones taste. Sorry the answer isn't more straightforward but it's a lot to spend if it's not the right machine for you.

    I just bought this machine 3 days ago and I am already having problems with it. This morning i tried to pull an espresso and very little water was extracted. then it stopped and an error message came up on display saying "system empty repeat delivery nespresso" i had to restart over , this time it worked, however i had that message before. Also, the power cord is way to short for my kitchen! Its only like 50cm or so, that is very annoying. have to buy an extension cord which wasnt my idea to have hanging around the kitchen counter. I cant help to feel that this machine is cheap made and they are selling it for a premium. i am on live chat with Nespresso now, will advise later

    A great independent review as always.👍👊
    To be honest I still can’t believe this machine is still part of the current Nespresso line of machines.
    The Lattissima pro was released in early 2014 as the top end Lattissima machine with the Lattissima plus being the main steam offering.
    Since the the Lattissima range has undergone quite a visual change but for some reason this pro model is still the same machine that was released in 2014 and personally I think it looks rather dated.
    The other issue I see is that it suffers with the typical Lattissima problem of Luke warm coffee when making a milk based drink.
    I honestly thought this “pro” model had a temperature settings but after watching this video it’s clear it doesn’t.
    What i can’t seem to understand is why Nespresso haven’t seemed to address this “Luke warm” coffee issue that seems inherent in the Lattissima range. There is no way a milk based drink would be coming out of these machines at less than 65c when prepared and should be closer to 68c-70c. To be getting 59c is just not hot enough and like I’ve mentioned in the past I’ve seen old Lattissima plus not getting higher that 50c but classed as “within specification” by Nespresso (I’m really sorry to bang the same old drum).
    For me it’s got to be a Nespresso requirement that these Lattissima machines can’t make a milk drink hotter as my delonghi (pain in the ass to use) bean to cup machine with auto latte system, that these Nespresso machines are based on has no issues serving milk based drinks at 70c consistently.
    It also seems like the Creatista range can be up to 10c hotter on the milk drinks also so I just don’t understand why these Lattissima machines are not able to match the 65c-68c with milk based drinks of the Creatista range.
    Again the review is great and are a pleasure to watch as I try to decide which new Nespresso machine to buy.
    Have a great week
    Joff 👍👍☕️☕️

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wow I didn't realise it came out that early to be honest, guess that explains the VERY dated looking screen. Best keep hold of it then in case they release a new version and I need to compare them 😂 Cheers and hope you have a great week too!

    • @shon2370
      @shon2370 ปีที่แล้ว

      I purchased the Latismma Pro and when I tell u, my coffee is hot. Especially when I "leave the frother out at room temperature", because I know I'll want a second cup just before lunch, it's actually one of the reasons I waited to purchase because a lot of the previous reviews said the other nesspresso machines were not hot enough once the coffee was prepared, I read the reviews and I can say it is much hotter.

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi 👋 It can if you attach the water spout instead of the frother. 2 or 3 😅 shots of espresso followed by hot water. Or you could even press the lungo button once or twice with no pod in. No dedicated Americano button off the top of my head but perhaps ask Nespresso. The Creatista Pro has a dedicated long black setting. We have videos on the channel about the above in case they’re of interest.

  • @TheMdmusicman08

    The reason there was more foam in the latte and less in the cappuccino is you set the milk settings on the wrong sides for the cappuccino you had it on the less froth and latte on the more froth

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. Yeah it seems to be what Nespresso recommend as it's a latte macchiato the machine makes rather then a latte. The macchiato has more froth than the cappuccino and think this bears out with the settings on the aeroccino 4 too. It did take me by surprise when I watched the official Nespresso video too, as doesn't seem natural to turn the froth to the lowest setting for a cappaccino does it.

    never understood why on those automatic machines, the coffe is poured after the milk and not before. do this in Italy and you could get in serious trouble LMFAO.
    this is a huge mistake on a cappuccino.
    If you put the milk before, you will never have the nice coffee crema mixed with the milk.
    The coffee crema needs to stay on top. ALWAYS
