      I left Chicago in 1998. Call it intuition or premonition. I saw this coming and packed up my kids amd fled. My family is still there (mother, sisters, brother, nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts). I don't understand why. I came back to visit in 2019 before Covid. The city didn't look or feel the same. I was anxious and constantly looking over my shoulder. I haven't been back since.

      Me and my late husband visited Chicago in '99 for our 10th wedding anniversary. As we were leaving I vowed that I would never go back ever again. It kinda reminded me of New York n a smaller scale and I understand crime is everywhere but it is worse in some parts than others. It's too bad that happened to her.😕

It usually takes place within certain pockets of the city. I will say this, a lot of these theoretical victims aren't victims. A lot of crimes that take place here are retaliatory or gang related. Mind your own business, and you'll be fine.

    I left 16 years ago. Got myself and my baby son the fuck out of there, I saw this coming. It wasn't the greatest growing up there but it was nothing like this. There's a demonic spirit in some of the people there. 16 years later, my son has graduated college and has a career. Most of all, he's a great person, not possessed with a demon!!

      Not everyone has a bank account and even some who do carry cash. I asked my BF the same question. He’d gotten his paycheck and cashed without depositing just had thousands sitting around. It’s cause he needed to use it for something else.
