+oceanviewfan You really can afflict a night owl here! I do not know the answer as to Vinnie with wood route. Note, the guitarist on stage here was Danny McBride. Unusual quality of this recording somewhat mystifies me. I am guessing a remote truck was outside the building with rolling reel to reels. State of the art for live recording circa 1976. There is obviously some after-doctoring and touch ups in a studio, probably during a later road trip, in some USA studio. I am open to anyone else having input about this! --Donny
Still great though! Saw Sha Na Na in Madison Square Garden for 1-to-1 concert and also in Central Park - both were unbelievable and made a Sha Na Na fan for life.

Great recording, sound quality is great.. I keep searching TH-cam for someone to upload the Rockin in the 80's album!! Mine burned in a house fire. Best live Shanana album in my opinion!!
I was stationed in Japan early ‘75 and was in the audience. Thank you for the joy and now good memories. Did the power go out on it’s own or was it part of the show.
