  • Like most islands, Marco Island has beautiful beach coastlines! However, some people have a hard time finding their way to the beach since the hotels and restaurants line the beachfront and parking can be limited. In this video I provide a full introduction on the different beach options and how to get to them. We’ve got:
    1. TigerTail Beach -There are 226 regular parking spaces and 6 handicap parking spaces with a $8.00 Parking Fee payable to the Master Meter, or Beach Parking Permit required. There are restrooms, a concession stand and beach equipment rentals.
    2. Resident Beach -This private beach has specific requirements for access, but quite a few perks like Friday fish fry at the eatery and sugar soft sand.
    3. Mid Beach - Centrally located access between the Royal Seafarer Condominium (300 South Collier Blvd.) and the Madeira Resort (310 South Collier Blvd.), this beach is for pedestrian use only. There are bike racks, but no parking or facilities are available.
    4. South Beach - There are multiple access points. The parking lots are located east of Collier Boulevard. One parking lot is maintained by Collier County and has the same requirements as Tigertail Beach. The other parking lot is part of the Marco Island Civic Association and has the same requirements as Residents’ Beach. Restrooms are located at both parking lots.
