Wow. Super helpful Simon! Thanks. I have Pixelmator Pro, mostly I use Pixelmator on my phone for all sorts of editing though - but this will be very useful.
There used to be a script that allowed you to export shapes from Illustrator for use in Motion but it no longer works and hasn't worked for quite some time. (In fact, there was more than one script but only of them ever worked for me.)
