- In this video we made a one night trip to the south coast of Sri Lanka, We stayed at Toddy by HOPPA in Unawatuna and drove to the Galle Fort to check out the restaurant HOPPA.

we spent weeks on unawatuna beach in 94..wow it certainly has changed since then. we lived right on the beach in a shack for a few ruppees a night..was an untouched paradise

Aww I really miss Sri Lanka , I was there last year at Galle.
I liked this video! The shots and editing were great, and awesome cut using the drone + arrival of food. Some constructive criticism though (and I mean this to be polite, I know YT comments can come off as toxic) it would be cool if you described the towns and places you go to, a bit of history and the things the places are known for (agriculture? tourist hot spot? night life? historic? that sort of thing) as well as maybe talking to some locals! You could also include edits for locations (as in the position the place is on a map of SL), anything the place you're going to is famous for, what you love about it - personally, and the typical food of the area, that sort of thing. Also, if you want any CC translations into Italian I can help with that. Looking forward to future content!

Yes I have watched a few . I quite accidentally watched the one in the Yala where you were taken up with a big surprise on the banks of Menik river. It was awesome . Your interview was absolutely an eye opener to anyone who intends to choose a career path in modelling . Your positivity and mindset was excellent ! Keep up your good work. I rate you as one of the best I ‘ve ever seen on You Tube .

Love your videos! I am trying to get to Sri Lanka but getting hung up on the spreadsheet of approved quarrantine hotels. Do you habe a sense of them or any suggestions? Cannot wait to get there and hopefully call Sri Lanka home 🙏😊
Hey That is so lovely to hear! I'd recommend picking some of the hotels along the coastline to have the best of the Isolated bubble experience.

@@Sheneller The whole spreadsheet thing is extremely cumbersome and not at all user friendly 😬 But Im determined to get there so I should just pick 2 beachfront hotels and go with that for the 14 days. Then be free to hit all the beautiful towns and beaches you and Johnny post. I just need the Indian Consolate to send my passport back to me now whether they approve me to travel there or not because Sri Lanka is open!! So excited. Thank you!

Also yep finding out hotel prices requires you to reach out to each one of them at the moment. Hopefully that will change soon.
@@Sheneller a video would be awesome! It would be helpful if there was one webpage of all the quarrantine hotels rather than looking at each individually then getting a lot of other hotels showing up which you have to go back to the speadsheet to see if they are actually on the list. I'm going to try again to choose (one or two) and just go! It should be that easy. 🤦
