I think we have to look at the fact that the Europeans are still holding on to their culture because they realize how important it is in the shaping of their future. but here in Africa as a continent, more especially those countries that were colonized, we were taught to look down on our culture and that it was barbaric, and stifled us and stunted our growth as a nation. they watered our culture down and made themselves out to be our heroes and saviors. which is in line with them wanting us to migrate to their countries and making it seem as if we cannot survive in our own countries. we cannot do anything of ourselves unless we get a stamp of approval from them.
