  • Short on space? check out the incredible harvest out of a 2 ft x 4 ft raised bed. Planted Murasaki and Bayou Belle sweet potatoes. 117 days in the ground. Biggest, baddest sweet potatoes ever. Organically grown, these are the best. Pictures of the part 1 Beauregard 3 container harvest included. This may be the most sweet potatoes I have ever harvested. Still lots of places to harvest.

I watch you harvesting your sweet potatoes and they are very beautiful you got a very good harvest and all of them have very good size just beautiful. What kind are they and where did you buy your plants? Whatever you did you did a very good job with the soil and planting the slips just fantastic!!🙏🙏👍👍

Part 1 is Beauregard. I started years ago with a organic potato from the grocery store. I save a couple of the small tubers each year for the next year. Part 2 is Murasaki from my own starts along with some Bayou Belle. I bought the slips for them from seedsnsuch.com or Etsy

Thank you for subscribing. I try to keep videos going about the right times for the 7b 8a zones to remind everyone what they need to be doing. I look back constantly myself to see when to pick and plant. My video journal instead of a written one.

Wish I could tell you the secret. Some years are fabulous, some only so so. I plant in just about the same spots each year. Rainfall in the early summer seems to be really important. Worked well this year so far.

Bayou Belle will definitely be planted again next year. What a producer it was here in Georgia.
