As far as we know, brains are the most highly organized matter in the universe. How they make their magic is just astonishing. How can 100 billion or so neurons, each with 1000 or more connections, work together in an ‘enchanted loom’ of electrical circuits and chemical baths that produce sensations, thoughts and feelings? It is not a miracle.

Arnold Scheibel sums it up perfectly: The brain is the most remarkable three-pound object unlike anything in the biosphere, unlike anything in the solar system and so far as we know unique in the galaxy.

Reducing the brain to genetic makeup and what the world imposes upon us in a way reduces what we can even call truth and beleive it, so I wonder if it would be a good idea to have different fields of knowledge respond to this? A decent discussion and understanding done by the professor Scheibel.
Basic and not very exact, but not too far from the real processes taking place in the biological brain.
The first experience with the close medium from "outside" of a proto-organic cell on Earth was the chemical interaction.
In those first primordial organic interactions of the back eons the chemical that damages anything from the functional "integrity" of the proto-organic cell it plugged the channel of interaction, therefore naturally blocking it. This simple fundamental and very important chemical effect has been "employed" naturally ever since to today in one form or another.
    Etc.
The second was the sensorial tactile interaction, the third the sensorial smell, the fourth the proto-vision function, and after these first ones the rest of them.
    Etc.
I know what Robert is looking for; so, again, I repeat, and I repeat it especially for the participants here ( I have written about it many times in the past ): in order to create full Artificial Consciousness ( AC ) you don't have to follow the "complicated" and convoluted way the nature has done it in billions of years on Earth by natural evolution ( so, you don't have to understand exactly in the finest detail how the real biological brain works, because many steps of it's natural functional dynamic are just redundant ).
You can do it very quickly in one day ( or a few hours, or even less if you have EVERYTHING at hand and you KNOW EXACTLY what you have to do 😏 ) by creating the main fundamental little web of limited few functions with which the REQUIRED information is circled and re-circled in a very specific way in a relatively closed system as, for example, an ordinary everyday computer ( it is fast enough, don't worry! ). 😉
I don't talk here about Artificial Intelligence ( AI ), but about full Artificial Consciousness ( AC )!
    Good luck!✌️🙂

  • @6Twisted
    @6Twisted 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

What I find most interesting is that our brain is how we interpret the world so I wonder how other species experience the world. Our brains are also relatively early in the evolutionary process so I wonder how much more advanced alien brains might be or how different they might be if they took a different evolutionary path.

No self respecting scientific journal would accept it, not because they have any bias, but because they have consistent standards they apply to all evidence.
Those guys get away with it when publishing to a general audience because most people don’t understand what the criteria for scientific evidence are or how evidence is tested and evaluated.

    • @simonhibbs887
      @simonhibbs887 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@saigopala Just because a journal says it’s peer reviewed doesn’t make it credible. Radin does work for “the journal of science and healing” that specialises in “alternative medicine”. It’s been criticised in legitimate medical publications as being a “fake journal” and as a “sham masquerading as a real scientific journal”. Some of its papers include studies of how “distant intention” affects water crystal formation. I’m sorry, but if you think this is a serious science journal, you’re being deceived. This is how pseudoscience operates. It mimics the forms of real scientific research without implementing its substance.

It is beautiful. (E_alg = algorithm with emergent properties) - (structure & information & E_alg) create (2nd_structure) within which new information is gathered and processed based on the E_alg, in order to adapt, and grow the structure to gather more/new information. A system is created (A system of networks that work on the base of that complex E_alg). At the base of that structure/system is the (Main system with the Main information and the E_alg that *works it all). And then the systems grow every time new information is added (in order to be able to process said new information [new tools being needed] ) and create new system and so on............(This shouldt be a short format, easy to digest. It is not possible. Think of it like being the first Atom in the creation of letter "A").

    Awesome guy and educator.
Typical of how though they befuddle themselves with the numbers. Large numbers like dendrite connections can be deceptive because it makes us overlook certain basic principles. BTW many connections also suppress neuronal acitvity as well as activate. The neuronal networks are performing a function bigger than each individual unit much the same as muscle cells combine or synchronize to form muscles and complex muscle networks. The movement of the outside of our body reflects the neuronal activity inside our body. Just look at how the motor cortex and somatasensory cortex are right in the center of our brain and mirror one another. A front to back symmetry which mimics lateral bicameral motor symmetry.

    X-Files
    Metaphysical Hierarchy
    Mystic (vision)
    Magical (harmony)
    Musical (language of music)
    Artistic (pictures/metaphors)
    Poetic (words)
    Numerical (we are here)
Mystics create the most joy (smart).
Accountants create the least joy (ignorant).
Ever notice that beings who speak in the language of music can create joy that energizes thousands of beings to celebrate and dance?
Ever notice that corpses who speak with brain numbing, soul sucking numbers do the exact opposite?
Sanction, starve, torture, murder and bomb (wheeeeee)! Ignorance (hate) is bliss for vampires (greed). But not much fun for the humans who they are sucking the joy out of.
The hostile evangelcal vampires (greed) are inhumane because they are not human. The counting corpses commit crimes against humanity because they are not human.
The hostile evangelical vampires (greed) are blind and cannit see the ignorance of transformong heaven (peace) into hell (war). The counting corpses are also blind and cannot see the ignorance of destroying the planet.
The anti-love, anti-christ called Counting Dracula (Trump) and his crew of evangelical vampires (greed) are extremely "desperate" to control a darkship called the Whitehouse.
Because working in the dark to suck the joy out of life and destroy the planet is the only way that the loveless, lifeless parasites can survive and thrive.
It's also how the hostile alien invaders keep their human capital (cattle) coralled.
Unlke earthling poets, artists, musicians, mystics, human beings and creators of joy...the counting corpses that rule US can't create harmony (real intelligence) because vampires (greed) are far worse than stupid.
The liveless, lifeless parasites are ignorant (dead).
Vampires (greed) who suck the joy out of life have joined the zombies who eat the futures of their children.
Zombie Apocalypse is here and happening now.
Question. Why are the evangelical counting corpses using the bible as a springboard to perform sonersaults to do the exact opposite of "treat others like they want to be treated"?
Answer. This is sick. Because this simple concept is too far out there to grasp for vampires and zombies.
    Lead into gold
    Tears into roses
    Weapons into ploughshares
Or at least weapons into pianos, paint brushes and joy creating stuff like that.
Darkness (business) exists so that stars (light and warmth) have a place to shine in heaven (joy, beauty and harmony).
Stars like US don't exist to be sucked out of heaven by a giant black hole in space called "greed" and its ignorance (hate).
Also, Love spent billions of years creating this paradise planet lifeboat so that her miraculous works of fine art called "life"have a beautiful place to "be".
Good (god) didn"t spend so much time creating this paradise planet lifeboat to be depreciated, polluted and destroyed in a brief moment by hostile alien monsters and their ignorance (hate).
