A wordddddddd. I had to go, no one wanted to be there. Congratulations ! I am currently recalibrating, looking to go to business school by god's grace after getting a Masters in Education.

I am a Sub, I mean baby sitter and prison guard, in Southern California. Alvord USD in Riverside. The disruptive students are running the classrooms and administration allowes it.

Yep. It sucks and is not worth it. I wish I could leave but in the game too long. Can't wait to retire! If you are young leave until someone fixes the system!

Great video!! I remember as a kid every time being asked what I wanted to be/do when I grow up, I always said a teacher by default because I really had no clue.😆 There were no jobs or careers that fit what I truly wanted to do. I joined the military to by myself time to figure it lol…. And entrepreneurship/working for myself was always the answer that I never knew was possible. 😁

wow! so glad you made this insightful video - teaching is such a sacrificing career and people don't realize what all goes into it.

Thank you for your share. NYC Teaching Fellows is really tough.
I give you credit. I completed one year school and then decided to leave it was too much.
    God Bless , 🙂

It’s amazing that you can go through graduate school to be a teacher and have to end up with a bunch of nuts the don’t even want to be taught, act crazy and cause trouble all the time.

As I told my department chairman when I resigned from a large urban high school “this entire building is a sick joke”. No one who has anything on the ball should waste their time teaching school. I initially switched to adult education for 2 years but thought better of it and started shipping out with the merchant marine mostly to the Mediterranean on a merchant ship on long term charter to the Air Force. After 8 years of that I went to barber college. I cut hair for 20 years until I retired. The schools have really gone down the drain at this point according to most burnt out teachers.

She has a backup though , I’m sure her baby daddy gives her money towards their child , so that’s added income

Thanks for your commentary. The goal of this video was to share some insight into my experience from the perspective of faith and walking boldly in God’s will for me. Therefore receiving financial assistance from my child’s dad, or not, had and has had no bearing on my decision to walk away from an environment that was not allowing me to walk in my full purpose. 🤍

@@tanyagermain you were able to walk away because you have financial support , not everyone has that an often have to keep working because they don’t have a partner that is going to handle the bills while they pursue their dreams , your advice is very much cookie cutter
