Even breathing- Exhale 4-Inhale-4, (focus on exhaling as that is the relaxation breath piece), Focus word, think of one word (grace, peace, hope)inhale that word, and then say release on the exhale but don't name your feeling you want to get rid of, just say release. Hand on the belly, and keep going till you release

I get light panic attacks everytime I start to do something like programming and studying. My heart beats faster, my thoughts everywhere, I start to tremble, my stomach feels weird and my breathing gets heavier. I sleep to overcome this and its counterproductive until i found this technique! Thank you so much!

The count of 4 Technique is quite good. The one that I learned about was to Inhale to a count of 4, hold for 4, and breath out for 4, hold for 4, then repeat. I've done that for a years.

So do all breathing techniques serve a different purpose or the same thing because I've been trying to meditate recentness but don't know which breathing pattern/ technique I should use. It's also really hard for me to visualize while meditating.

There are a few things worth trying
Work out why you are anxious - the first step in solving an issue is to understand why it is there.
Be comfortable with yourself - this makes it easier when you are with other people.
Challenge youself - you will gain confidence by taking action - especially by doing activities that stretch your boundaries.

Yer there are lots of practices that can simply and dramatically improve well being and should be taught and practiced from kindergarten or infant school but what are we taught? A load of bullshit that doesn't serve the majority of us very well at all... Algebra.. Religious studies..well in later life anyway obviously 5 years old aren't being taught algebra but still , all kids really learn from day 1 is too conform.. If they really wanted people to fulfill their true potential, kids should be taught .basic maths.. Language.writing and then meditation...breathing etc.. How to treat people, positive affirmations ..and then around 12/13 they should start to learn their chosen careers.. A 12 year old can learn engineering or fixing cars etc building/carpentry and by the time they leave school, they could have the skills to go straight into work...but..something tells me , whoever is running things, doesn't want us to learn how to breath properly etc...

This lung expander/exerciser changed my life the first day I used it! It’s called the “BreatheEasy Lung Expander and Abs Exerciser”. It’s on Amazon and super affordable.
I use it mostly for the inhale which really relaxes me and also helped my sleep improve considerably. It also comes with an informative eBook, too!
A friend of mine also uses it and no longer needs his CPAP for sleep apnea.
