- Evilpoptart and I return for a new series! Kirby's Return to Dreamland is a fantastic game that really undersold when it was released. For everyone who remembers, Evilpoptart and I did briefly play this game as a one-off project, but we've now decided to play it all the way through. Join me as Kirby, and my partner in crime Evilpoptart as Meta Knight, as we try to help Magolor put the Lor Starcutter back together.

Yes, I shall be the one to yell at the screen. *Ahem* You press against the side of the room or area for a few seconds, then back track your steps to the area with the logs. It becomes shallower and reveals a door that leads to a HAL activity or secret room.

They actually made a 101st episode of Kirby: Right Back at ya! using CG. It was made to promote Triple Deluxe. You can find it on TH-cam, be warned, it does have one really weird moment.
Ah, this game. Actually the first main-series Kirby game I played, back in college with a handful of friends. Also, sorry EvilPoptart, but 4x Kirby >>> any other character. The ability-swapping shenanigans with four players are awesome.
I've been thinking about trying to get it soon; I recall the abilities being about at their best here, and I've been listening to the soundtrack recently and it's way better than I remember. Shame it's a bit difficult to find for a good price. Even if there is a bad Kirby game, there certainly isn't a bad Kirby soundtrack. This game, Epic Yarn, Canvas Curse and Air Ride's soundtracks have more playtime than anything else on my library.
As for the bonus game, if memory serves it flashes various colors when you're supposed to press the button, with a bright pink flash when you need to press it for a "1".
Since you guys brought up sandwiches, there is a diner in new york that i like to go to when i go to new york, haven't been there in a few years but my favorite diner there serves great sandwiches, if you guys ever go to new york, definately go to the diner i like to go to there, there is a diner in smithtown. Its a great diner.
THE KIRBY ANIME IS GREAT AND GOOD (as far as I remember)
I'm not really sure why this game didn't as well as it should. It's a really solid game. Though I guess Kirby games never sell amazingly.
I'm pretty sure Meta Knight is actually sword+wing, which is why his move set is so different. The other two probably have something similar but I love Meta Knight too much to ever play as them.
Also, I don't typically recommend dubs because they're harder to watch, but you might want to look it up as Hoshi no Kaabii instead. I accidentally discovered that Fox Kids cut a lot of awesome out of the Kirby cartoon (probably to make room for commercial breaks.)
Ah, yes, Return to Dreamland. It's definitely one of my favorite entries in the series. But just out of curiosity, are you and Evilpoptart doing Extra Mode after the Normal version, or no?

So miles is kirby, and poptart is chicken little, sorry, why does metaknight always remind me of chicken little. I gotta see the movie sometime. You two have probably not seen the movie chicken little right. It came out a few years ago and i never saw it. I'm curious miles, what power up or power ups do you recommend for someone who hasn't played kirby before.
Ive never seen a bad kirby game, although i usually don't play kirby so my taste in kirby is unknown, i usually play mario games mostly, speaking of which, why haven't you been on mario kart recently miles, i love racing you, we gotta race again sometime, you should log on there more often to race the fans who want to race ok. I miss our twice weekly races, even if some of the races i was in were featured later, i still miss racing you. Just be aware i won't be racing this coming weekend.
i dont see why some were complaining about the intro, i love it! i hate to be this commenter, but where can i find that music? is there a full version? also i know its odd talking about the series in the first video considering its done now, but i came here in hopes of finding the music. i loved the series though. i wish i got to see more of king dedede though. he's my favorite!

MilesLuigi thank you! and like i said nice series! i really enjoyed this one! since i've subscribed i feel like i've watched almost all your lets plays! one final quick question, would you ever consider or be interested in chibi robo? i know its a very obscure game, but i think it would be enjoyable to watch someone with your knowledge play it
Serious question... someone explain the appeal of Kirby to me... is it all the different abilities? Because the level design seems flatter than any Mario.
It the abilities and simple, run around, goof around fun. No need to stress yourself out to beat the game although there's always something that's *really* hard to beat. To this day I've never beaten Kirby 64's boss rush.
To this day the best I've done is 98.5% Banjo-Kazooie, and I have yet to find all of the jiggies in Grunty Industries in Tooie.

I get the appeal of BK, I loved BK.
If I recall correctly, I'm missing 1 jiggy (the one in the fans of the boat in RBB (the engine room isn't a problem, that's pretty easy really, I just can't seem to get to the fans in time)) and 10 notes (also in RBB).
It takes ten seconds to select a file and get to the bottom of the first talon trot hill in grunty's lair.
It also takes that long to stop, and to swop.
Nice, but would you mind making intros quieter? This one is particularly startling :\
I thought the intro was fine.
Eh, it is a bit loud. I've taken care of it for the following videos.

If you have the option let me know. For the past few months I've been uploading 60fps videos to TH-cam for the day they support it. I don't have the option. Edit: I now have the option!
I just 200%ed this game (SPOILERS: there's two versions of this game. that's all i can say) a month ago, I was so sad when I realized there was nothing more to do. I don't feel like watching this serie either, but... Yeah, I'm sorry, I'm gonna pass.
HOLY CRAP this video is probably the fastest/smoothest video ever. Is it because of the mysterious unknown 720p60? I always thought 30fps was better, and that's actually only how fast Wii can run.

MilesLuigi I know, durr. I can't believe my computer could load this. I mean it can load Binding Of Isaac with a little slowdown sometimes but it takes me just 10 minutes to get past the logo screen in Shovel Knight.
