The Security Guard that gave Mario gas for the bike is a classic example of Malaysian kindness n sincerity. And he refused money as a token of appreciation from Mario by putting it back on the bike. What a sincere guy. He spoke good English which is v commendable; he is in a rural town in Perak where English is probably rarely spoken. Speaking of English, it is interesting to note that Olivia pronounced the Hotel as S M Zee instead of S M Zed, considering the fact that Olivia is from England n not America.
If we look at various vlog from other TH-camrs like Ken Abraod, Veggies on Tour, Jetleg Warrior (to name a few), they never had any problem communicating with local in English at any place and time throughout east coast and rural areas. Despite of negative perspective from others especially from west malaysians , east coast people proven to be most kindness of all malaysians.
very kind pak cik.. he must be very educated too coz speak english really well!!!
What a nice cafe😂 enjoy your ride..
Shown that many of malaysian Malays was educated
Yeay....The guard impressed me a lot..❤
kepada pengawal keselamatan tu kalau sapa2 yang kenal ucapkan tahniah kepada dia. dia menunjukkan yang rakyat malaysia ni suka membantu orang lain dalam kesusahan. tak kira bangsa apa.
Salute to the security guard❤❤
Good example of Malaysia kindness showing by pakcik security guard..hat off to you pakcik..❤️❤️
The most adventurous TH-cam couple ever going around Malaysia.
And yes there are wild elephants on that route.
terima kasih abang guard yg baik
We malaysian are thought to always help the “musafir” or in english raughly translated as the travellers..or those on the road.
His act of kindness is not unexpected in malaysia..❤
Pak guard yang baik hati. Semoga makhluk2 Allah dilindungi
Masuk kelantan dia guna background musik gesekan rebab...sy sgt respek sama lu bohh✌️
Itu yang mahal...
Malaysian hospitality is always on the top 😍
9:30 nice malaysian hospitality brother!
The music at the end is really WOW. That is so kelantanese..
salute that security officer..so well hearted
It's legit wild elephants roaming there. Usually come out at night or before sunrise. Hence lots of elephants poo on road or near the edges. Also lots of wild animals such as tapir , black panther , boar , pangolin sometimes will cross the road at that time
Thumbs up to Rosli for helping n showing hospitality 👍. Yes Mario, its wild elephants, sometimes they appeared on the road, highways. In 2022, there's a British couples encountered a group of wild elephants while driving at East coast highways, they were so ecstatic n posted their experience here on TH-cam.
The security guard is the gem 💎 of Malaysia 🇲🇾.
From Changlun to Grik the rural road is quite sparsely populated which is why there were not many traffic.. also most travellers choose to use the highway. but the east -west road despite being remote and in the middle of jungle, is the main thoroughfare from Eastern states to Northern states. thus the heavy traffic. It is quite easy to see elephants at night but more dangerous. Take your time guys.. Kelantan and Terengganu still has a rich Malay culture and you wont see it anywhere else in Malaysia. Life is so laidback and you can get lost in time there.. but still have all the luxuries of a modern world
When you get to Kota Bahru make sure you go to Kuala Terengganu
From Kuala Terengganu make sure you take the coastal road to Kuantan
It is very scenic
5 stars journey. So lucky!
Can't wait to see your Kota Bharu video. U guys went to Kedah, Perlis, Kelantan - probably 3 of the least visited states by foreigners in Malaysia. Good job!!!
The Islamic heartland of Malaysia is not a popular place to visit for non-Malay Malaysians.
@@varvoom That might be part of the reason but in truth is, there's not much to do or see out there anyway. Kedah has Langkawi but that's about it.....
@@kopxpert All these PAS-controlled States are only good at building Madrasses, Langkawi was their halal tourist centre barely able to survive, even their gimmick of duty-free alcohol shops did not bring in the tourists who prefer Penang which is more multiculturally friendly.
@@varvoomoo really are u have been here or just fantasy slander
Full respeck to u secure ...u can speak n explain in English very well...salute . Very important guys.....walaupn gagap2 x pe bro..awak x memalukan country kita.....
Wellcome to the east coast. Full of traditional culture. Way of living, food, headgear, architecture, colorfull fishing boats & so on. Go to Tourism Kelantan office in the city centre. Get some information, brosures, map etc
Thanks for the tips!
Be careful and safe on your journey
sungguh baik, ramah dn membantu abg guard di resort ROYAL BLUM ni...semuga jasa mu..di hargai....
welcome to our beloved country malaysia
Great content guys, an A and a + for taking the grik jeli road. Need more content like these. The the usual KL and Penang boring already.
Bro the weather is so hot right now in the East Coast...40 °C yesterday at my place in Kelantan no joke...El Nino...i never experience this very hot weather in my entire life this is first time...stay safe drink a lot of water...
dis is the longest hot season ever..im at my 40s now..indeed it was 1st time feel dis kind of hot n humid
It's 40+ here in Loie, Thailand.
@@thomasauslander3757terrible...feel like living in sauna 🥵
40 is temperature for warm wash in the washing machine, and some laundromats charge extra for a warm wash 🤔
Very nice background music ... rebana when you're in Kelantan
After the whole bombardment of war stories on my news feed, seeing strangers being nice with each other during difficulties make me feel some kind relief that there is still peace loving and kind people exist in this world. And thanks for showing me this side of Malaysia. Safe journey to both of you guys.
It can feel like the world is pretty hateful sometimes but there is good people everywhere! You can see this more when you travel and people always help out in difficult situations 💪
welcome to the east coast of peninsula malaysia.....i wish you vlog more on the things you see and do while at each place coz your video is just showing your journey from hotel in point a to hotel in point b...just my thought
I agree.. Less 'exploration' so to speak. Only point A to B. Lack of content in the middle.
For example. They stop at Gerik, but that's it. Nothing further. Hope they can do more 'homework' for their route.
I think they are too exhausted to film while riding.
Yes, wild elephant dears. So be careful.
i think that is old road from kedah to kelantan .... it avoid tol and do not have any petrol station u may need to go around town then u can find one that was good journey
I suggest that after finishing the trip in Malaysia, I want you to do a review on the small cc bike you are riding, tell them the small cc bike can do the best too!
Welcome to Malaysia. I have riden the same route you did. As a local myself, I still find it is still a pretty awesome route with beautiful scenic. Hope you enjoy your adventure, ride safe.
Elephants and the lakes! Awesome!
My highest respect to the security guard. He is awesome
Yes there are real wild elephants on the east west road but quite safe if you take the necessary precautions like avoiding riding from dusk to dawn, and if you happen to encounter them keeping a safe distance and time to cross the road especially if there are babies with them. Just give due respect.
Watch out for this signboard "Wild Life Crossing"
Tabik n repsct.Pak.Guard.yg.menolomg.pasamgan ni. Andalah bagaikan duta.disana
Bangga sbg rakyat.Malaysia.🎉
Berbuat baiklah walau dimana anda berada!👍
Instrumental music ❤ Full respect
Do stay safe while biking on remote roads. Have a great time in Malaysia.
Malaysia hospitality top top draw.❤
It is wild elephant, you need to be careful, the word AWAS mean WARNING or CAREFUL
One more beware...
Danger!
What an awesome roadtrip.
Am just glad that you both arrived safely in my state, welcome to kelantan Olivia and Mario.
Thank you!
Ride along the coastline when you reach Terengganu...u gonna love it
Yes couldn’t agree more
classic example where malaysia will help without expecting anything in return. That makes us special and no hinden agenda. Plus Congratualtions Pak cik Guard yang pandai speaking :-)
Enjoy the ride. Glad you guys choose to ride this route and forgot to mention you should bring extra gas
Awesome per usual. Your footage and editing is extremely good, you'd never know you're nomads.
Thank you 👍
Totally loving this video! It’s something different for us in Malaysia, and the scenery is just wow. But come on, why so brief? I was just getting into it!
Glad you liked it, we will keep that in mind
We are planning a big project with this trip that you will be able to see soon!
Tips of the day.. bring empty bottles then filled up the extra ⛽ for drive extra miles 😊
Spectacular views over the mountains. Welcome to Kelantan guys. Make sure to try nasi kerabu, nasi dagang, and laksam ❤
They had those in KL already. Get them to try jump stab, duck poo kuih and sister kuih. If possible try the now rare crocodile bubble as well
wow guys....ur using Y suku all the way to kota bharu....awesome....if u guys are in trouble along ur trip just ask the local...and for sure some one will help coz this is what malaysian are...malay...chinese...indian...the are all very cool n nice people
Its awesome for me, as Malaysian myself, I've yet to reach the Royal Belum and its feel so nice to see you guys made it!
Welcome to my hometown Kelantan in peace! ☮
Terima kasih!

salute and big thanks to the pakcik security
All the best in Thailand. Can't wait for the next journey.
14:30 wow this is a great music
We recorded in Kelantan, coming in the next video 🙂
the drone view are AWESOME !!!!!
Hi, your trip reminds me of how I quited my job and bring all my belongings solo travel the entire island of west Malaysia on a motorbike for 2 weeks at the age of 21, my memory says I've done from Kuala Kedah to Jeli under 7 hours in one shot, basically same case as you I've been running the bike for 1 hour on petrol reserve light on... but I've made it to the petrol station in Jeli magically, too much was going on my mind back then, I was completely undisturb by the scenery, it must be beautiful being on the road, I'll try that again in the future. enjoy your trip, great work!
The views definitely do distract you!
Thanks a lot for choosing my country Malaysia you're welcome here...and come back again..😅❤
The guard is superbb
Welcome to Malaysia have a nice day and enjoy your trip.... bon voyage...👍👍
Thank you!
Beautiful ❤
I have a 9-5 job tomorrow, its been a while since i last went for holiday. I must say i envy you guys so much! I wish i could have the money and time to drive away. Hope you both enjoy both malaysian hospitality and malaysia roadtrip as much as possible.
Thanks so much, we hope you can get on a trip soon!
Actually i really enjoyed watching your road trip with a bike, hopefully have more like this from both of you
We love adventures like this and planning many more 🙂
You both have a beautiful life 😊 🙏
very nice & crazy journey ever.. take care both of you..
Thank you!
Its a dangerous road, especially at night. Elephant, phanter (wild) were known to pop up on the road side at night. If your vehicle broke down, it took hours before help comes. Also weird spooky stuff were known to happen when its dark...
Amazing travel videos guys. Be safe always❤
Must be interesting video coming soon...
The security guard represent Malaysian🇲🇾🤍
Dang you do ride a long road , salute to you guys
Malaysia is one of the safest countries for tourists, especially those with families.
Do explore more Malaysia man!
Great vlog on your ride across the East West Highway. A few years ago, there's a petrol station at Tasik Banding and now it's not operating anymore. I always bring along a spare 3L petrol jerry can just in case while riding my scooter across. From Bukit Bunga I will cross to Thailand for birding in Hala Bala Wildlife Sanctuary. Happy riding & safe ride.
Wild man! I wont even think of doing what you did 🤣🤣 i can feel the cramp from just watching your trip going there!
Wild tigers.... be careful guys. There are a couple of road sightings around Kelantan/Terengganu border so beware (if u haven't passed those areas yet)
Riding a motorcycle from Kedah to Kelantan is crazy, especially with the challenging route you took. I rode from KL to Gua Musang, Kelantan, and it only took 4 hours, but it felt like my skin was burning because the weather was extremely hot at that time. Welcome to Kelantan, and I hope both of you arrive safely at your destination. 👍
Thanks!
Have a good journey... enjoy your vacation ❤
Get a 1.5litre bottle, 2 of them (easily found in the trash can at petrol stations) to 3 litres of spare fuel. But other than that route, you would find at least 1 petrol station every 100km.
For petrol in rural area , try asking convinience shop or just shop that sells things. They sell it by the bottle i think.
So dont be shy and ask. But yeah keeping spare is wise.
taking a detour to jeli you should visit lata kashmer, one of the hidden gems around the area.
Man only in Malaysia where in the middle of nowhere someone helps you out and you offer to pay them, and they say I don’t need money don’t pay. ONLY IN MALAYSIA MAY GOD BLESS MALAY PEOPLE!!!!!
Not only in malaysia la, c'mon la jangan bagi malu la komen macam ni, pegi jalan2 ke luar negara sana sini baru mata dan minda boleh bukak luas sikit hadoi la 🤦♂️
@@jonmath4182 ko diam. jangan buat malu orang Melayu
Kau bg la negara mana yg sama dgn Malaysia?@@jonmath4182
@@syafiqsuzuki375 Truth is normally unpleasant and bitter. Are Malaysians different from Malays? Come to East Malaysia and learn about respecting humans.
@@sassdcc8692 beza banyak kot. Aku dah banyak kali dtg Sabah Sarawak. No thanks.
Riding thru Jeli, there are not only elephants but tigers roaming along the road. Take care and stay safe guys.
How about tenok/tapir is still there??
This is really exciting. Can't wait for the follow-up videos 🥰🥰
Coming soon!
There are numerous attractive islands off the east coast, although they are rather remote and expensive to stay on. If you can find a budget hostel, it will be nice.
Steady abg guard.. terbaik..
What a beautiful view 🤩
Nice road trip dear! Hope you guys enjoy it and please, be safe always!
Previously there was a Petronas service station near the resort but close now.
terima kasih Bro...dari Kelantan terus ke Terengganu, Johor ,Melaka dan Negeri Sembilan ..kembali ke Kuala Lumpur....
well done hope you two can /will upgrade your vehicle for middle weight bike..🙏✌️just for a better ride...i think saftey jacket and pant is possible to own..
you are awesome! with a small CC motorcycle that you managed to cross from the north to the east of Malaysia....not all Malaysians will ride in pairs, usually Malaysians will ride a small cc motorcycle alone without a pillion, most of the big cc motorcycles ride with a pillion. by the way thanks for representing Malaysia in the world in the TH-cam. you are awesome !
Thanks very much 👍
Good job. You made it
jln durian brung ke pedu dan baling .mmg view cntik
Cool video guys. Simply love it. A small correction. Please use the term ride a d not drive. You are on a bike and not driving. Hence.....
Looking forward to more videos. Thanks
Very cool video thus far..
Great Video guys. Hope you enjoy Malaysia
Thank you 🙏
