@Slukkethe killer doesn't choose if they get 8 hooks. If they already have the hook states, then sure, they chose them to keep the hooks, but no one says "I'm gonna get 8 hooks this game". 8 hooks just happen, it's not chosen
I think the main reason DBD is casual is because it lacks any sort of ranking system to compare yourself to others, thats essential to be considered "competitive" to me
I feel like if DbD were to add a ranked mode, no one would use it and would just choose to sweat in regular matches to feel good about themselves. And if there are ppl who use the rank mode, it would be ppl who know they're gonna play sweaty and actually enjoy a challenge, or ppl trying out the mode for the fun of it. I'm not trying to sound like a jerk here, but if we were to get a rank mode, it would not go well.
I personally think its because DBD has so many unseeable variables (specifically, what perks the survivors and killers are using before the match starts, and the ability for a survivor team of strangers to work together well vs. a SWF's to do that) to be treated in the consistent, serious way that competitive fighting games and shooters treated in
With the shader issue, I am red-green color blind. I have a filter that changes red to blue and green to purple. It helps me enjoy the game. My little brother plays on my account and turns the filter off because it is too colorful for him.

I like being a goofball depending on what character I'm playing. Thank you for the video. ❤
Ok this might sound stupid but if they're not taking from horror exclusively...Death from Puss in Boots 2 would unironically be a good choice. Guy fits the vibe pretty well despite being from a kid's movie.
@@cheesecakeee7963 His power is to swipe your held item. Survivors are given a prompt while he's on screen to chant "Swiper no swiping" to prevent this temporarily.
Little Nightmares would be a sick chapter to get but I don't know if it's controversial. No survivor, cause obviously they would be smaller than Chucky, and either Thin Man or the Teacher as killer.
Just like how they made Attack On Titan characters tiny in comparison but proportionate to scale, they could just make Little Nightmare characters upscaled to a larger size.
And even if they made the kids bigger to fit in it would be freaking weird to have adults-sized kids... I guess if that ever happened they will just make the LN's kids into kind of cosplay-ish skins for other survivors.
I think from a gameplay and a lore perspective it’s hooks. Gameplay wise, it took way more skill to manage 4 survivors than it does to tunnel one out early and play a 3v1 at 4 or 5 gens. From a lore perspective, the entity feeds on emotions. If you kill them quickly, the entity does not get much out of this interaction. But in a game that is full of ups and downs, positive and negative emotions, the entity gets a lot more.
I think this is also well reflected in points at the end of the game. I've had games where all 4 escaped, but I hooked and harassed so well I get 40,000 blood points or so, with the best survivor getting 29,000-32,000. Meanwhile in games where someone is tunneled and camped, the killer gets 15,000 blood points, with survivors getting almost double.that usually, and even the victim receiving about the same as the killer.
@@feathero3 I was waiting for him to mention Bloodpoints. We're rewarded by the Entity for 3 other Categories besides sacrifices. In DBD I've always imagined the only objective is to entertain/sustain the Entity. Just like in the in game lore though most don't even give that a second thought and revert to their own goal (Collecting fingers, torturing souls, defending their lands, just trying to survive/find your pals)
When a killer tunnels and or camps i stop playing normally to try and help the player it's happening to. So no gens because i know my team mate is annoyed as i would be. Play how you want because it's just a game and doesn't matter. But try not to annoy people. Flashlight team included.
On the topic of reshaders, my wife has very poor eyesight. She physically can't see scratch marks or pools of blood without turning the brightness up considerably, and she doesn't like playing DBD because of it. It's almost impossible for her to see normally, and then when some survivors use flashlights or flashbangs against her, the increase in brightness actually hurts her eyes. Brightness and filters should be considered an accessibility feature, and should be treated as such. Sure, it gives some people an unfair advantage if they choose to abuse it, but that was possible either way where some need the option for a good reason
Hooks VS Kills: I think "winning" is somewhat of a spectrum in Dead by Daylight that depends on how much you do in a match. As a Survivor, sure you you can escape a trial but if you did next to nothing to contribute and got very little points can you really say you "won"? Additionally, you can do a lot during the trial, participate in big ways and get lots of points but still end up dying before you can escape. Maybe it's not a full win but I wouldn't say it's entirely losing either. As for Killer, winning definitely seems like a spectrum and a matter of "How MUCH did you win?" You can absolutely kick the Survivors' butts and sacrifice all but one of them who ends up escaping, would you really call that a loss? Additionally, I wouldn't consider two sacrifices and two escapes a loss either, but rather a half win for the Killer. You could even hook every Survivor twice and end up sacrificing one but the other three escape, you still did well enough to put everyone on dead-hook and completely eliminate one of them, which I would consider a small win. As for the actual "Hooks VS Kills" debate, I personally don't think it matters all that much. Executing a Survivor on the spot is just a more convenient way to eliminate someone who's already on death-hook without having to walk them over to a hook and possibly risk them escaping your grasp.
My controversial license I want in dead by daylight is mirrors edge. I’ve always wanted a survivor based on parkour or free running as I feel like they could make some really cool momentum based parks.
You can play with friends, just not communicate with them while playing. Not more than the game already allows, and even that has been improved with the last UI update. You have more than enough info to coordinate.
@@icefoxy3460I think the mobile playerbase gets treated well enough that they can be trusted with VC. The main game is already such a rollercoaster of bugs and insane balancing decisions that people load in pre-tilted lol
I think it should be banned but Behavior should implement an in-game comms system. This way, the killer can hear thr speaking survivor or their walke talkie within a certain range. Survivors should also have the option to shut the walkie off when needed. This would balance SWFs in the healthiest way, because the way they balance it now is by allowing stream-sniping to counter streaming SWFs, and while that is perfectly fair, it feels a little dirty so I don't do it. Walkie system is better, but they need to ban external comms somehow.
There’s quite a few people who want Scooby Doo to be added to DBD… and I personally find it kinda silly. Sure the franchise deals with monster horror but it feels like it would be very weird to watch Velma get tortured by Knight’s crew, or her face obliterated by Xenomorph’s mori
im a firm believer that anyone who sees DBD as a "competitive game" automatically disqualifies their opinions on gaming in general, if you want to sweat or play a game where you need to win to feel better, go play an actual competitive game like COD. Im also bias tho cause i firmly believe that E-sports has ruined/killed casual gaming. We will never have another "casual" game ever again because someone somewhere will always need to win to have fun and bring the plague of E-sports into whatever it is they're playing
I used to play Identity V long before i started playing DbD, so whether im killer or survivor i still mentaly go off how that game decides wins and losses, which i know isnt 1 to 1 since both games are designed differently (an example for those who dont play Identity V is that camping is a core part of the game, some killers being designed around their strong camp and a category of survivors dedicated to rescuing despite the camp) but when i trade my life as survivor to make sure my 3 teammates can escape, ill always consider that game a win
A controversial character/license would be The Warden from CoD BO Zombies. His design, motive, and powers i feel would work well with how dbd is designed. I'd happily go into detail about his powers and motives if you'd like
I see this happening, his ability could be locking things up like in motd. The survivor could either be one from the Mobsters or Primis since they both were facing The Warden
@WeaselArlington I'd be fine if it was just him. 4 survivors is a bit much anyway. Also, he could have his shockslam attack from botd, as well as hellhounds that sniff out survivors and can be killed by dropping pallets. The warden could also drop a smoke bomb either by choice or if he gets stunned. Some form of tp could be done, but I'm not sure which way it should be
Hear me out: Darth Vader belongs in dbd. He’s a psychopathic dictator feared among galaxies. He wields a lightsaber, he has theme music for a terror radius and he has the force for a power/ carrying
In terms of Filters, another factor that is often overlooked is general accessibility. DBD has really limited colorblind options and sometimes they do not help as much as they should. For a really long time I personally used a filter that replaced red with purple since I am red-green colorblind and could not track the red-stain or scratchmarks as a result. In a sense it does provide an advantage but it acts as a bridge to fill the gap caused by disadvantage, which is often not considered in these debates.
1:41 "chases are directly tracked" Your performance in chase are very much tracked in the emblem system. you are scored every 15sec while in chase without being hit. you are also awarded emblem points for every gen completed while you are in chase, so i cant see why this cant be a factor toward some kind of skill measure
I know it would never happen, based purely on the fact it's not very well known, but I'd love to see a Fear Street chapter (based on the movie trilogy). I would particularly like Ryan Torres/ The Skull Mask or Issac Milton/ The Grifter, I think they would both fit. Ryan if you want another slasher, Issac if you want an extremely strong and tall killer (he's almost 7ft tall lol). It would be so much fun even though it will never happen.
my lil license I’d like to see join dbd that *may* be a little strange. (I dunno, I’ve gotten some comments on it) But, Little Shop of Horrors. I think it’d be interesting to see Audrey II come in as a killer (maybe called “The Carnivorous”? lol), how it’d work mechanically, i have no clue. but as dbd continues to broaden its horizons, I’d love to see a killer like Audrey II, something differing in shape or configuration. Especially as we get more and more killers like Xenomorph, Chucky and Dracula’s Wolf Form - all of which sorta breakaway from the format killers typically come in. Plus as a side note, a character or license from the Horror/Musical genre just sounds intriguing to me and just sounds like something experimental but beneficial for dbd.
as someone who runs bright asf fliters, I respect everyone's option. my reshade is mainly just vibrance and sharpening but alas, as long as someone doesn't value me as less then bc I run them, im fine.
I think DBD is a really fun casual game but as soon as you get competitive the asymmetrical nature of the game really begins to highlight balance issues.
You should make a video about which basic attacks from which killers would be the most painful (hillbilly hits you with a hammer, myers stabs you, nemesis punches you exc.)
For casual vs competitive, it all depends on how the devs ballance the game. Like if a perk/killer/add-on is really strong, but also fun for both sides, do you nerft it or do you let it be, untill people get tired of it.
For a random collab that could fit is plants vs zombies. Mainly in the shooters there is underlying horror themes. Zomboss can be a good killer using zombies and a gimick where he doesn’t attack.
A license I want is John Constantine Hellblazer as a survivor, DBD has yet to branch out into Horror comics and starting with the biggest Vertigo title would be awesome
I would love for Alex Mercer and/or James Heller from [Prototype] to be in game. As a killer they have SO MANY options for powers and unique abilities.
As someone who plays 50/50 survivor/killer, I’m gonna be both so relieved and utterly devastated the day weave attunement/franklin’s demise meta gets nerfed lol
I think Parasite Eve would be an amazing DBD chapter but I know that trying to get the licensing for it would be a nightmare if they wanted to do a full chapter with Aya Brea as the survivor, Eve as the killer, and maybe something like Carnegie Hall as the map and it would also be the fist license that’s a JRPG as well. I think if it did happen the more simple solution would be just to do Aya Brea since Square Enix owns her since they made her so they wouldn’t have to jump through legal hoops in order to add her.
I desperately want a parasite eve chapter, I think the museum or central Park would be a better map for DBD. But imagine the chase music with Eve THE COSMETICS FOR BOTH AYA AND EVE! Ugh it would be such a slay.
The only beef I have is that when I'm playing against a SWF they usually are on comms and I don't find it fair unless the game had a feature built in. I say this because it is basically having aura reading on me for free... they should add a proximity chat then it would be way more fun
A weird license id love to see is a Killing Floor crossover. You have such a vast array of both operatives and bosses that would GREATLY fit into the game, although id fret that Nemesis would be a similarly compared to killer.
Regarding controversial fitting content: I recently had the idea of Walter White from Breaking Bad as a survivor come through my head. Would it fit the Horror theme? Not at all. Would it provide good perks, voice lines, costumes, and a story blurb of the Entity taking him at the last second, kind of like as an eternal punishment? Honestly, I feel like the community might be ok with something like that.
10:36 I generally dislike whenever there's a meta-built bcos it usually means there's a certain perk/ combination that's *a lot* more powerful than everything else, & you *have* to run it to acc have a chance to win. I think a lot "metas" that got nerfed weren't acc as bad as ppl made them out to be tbh, but I also think that w/ 120+ perks on either side there *should* be a bit more variety. It sucks that some perks never get touched bcos they're just not worth it.
@@CrazyHookDBD THIS!! @teletummy kinda but not really. The Freddy we have is a child mohglester, unlike the original Freddy, which was hinted at but never outright said, and there's a reason why. Springtrap just was a child murderer/serial killer with the motive of achieving eternal life. So not really a sequel
@@RodDeWittI think you are only taking the negative part of the community or games such as security breach. There is a whole other part of this franchise that is much more respected, not cringe and glazed at.
The whole hooks v kills argument comes down to how you want to play as killer. If you want to 'win' getting survivors out of the game the quickest way possible is going to be your best strategy.
I actually love the franklins weave meta. It causes mire interactions between killers and survivors unlike gen kick for example which made survivors stealth and killers just holding space all game. It makes it easier fir killers to locate survivors, give them kind of a secondary objective if they want to hide all items in corners and its perfectly counterable (my fav thing rn is to brinf object and hope killer has weave it makes chases rlly funny)
Jacket from HM1 as a Killer & Evan Wright from HM2 as a Survivor would cause me to never leave DbD. It would be nice to see Evan get BHVR original skins & Jacket to have different masks or his damaged military uniform. I'm so happy to see that your love for Jacket, and desire for his implementation is shared. I'm not sure if AZHY plans on making individual chapter concepts, but if one is made I hope Hotline Miami is among the first.
I've considered this before myself. Specifically, with Jacket as both the killer and the survivor, playing off the themes of HM1 and the duality of that character's presentation. The cold blooded killer slaughtering rooms full of people (and enjoying it, no less) contrasted against the man who saved a woman in need and evidently treated her so kindly she felt like she could stay at his place. I don't think BHVR would actually do this, but it's interesting conceptually.
And ok a filter is fine if it’s just a slight adjustment. But they need to add a brightness slider. Even if a little. I think they took the brightness stuff away to make the game scarier. But no one finds this game scary it more or less makes it to where you cant see obstacles and puts you at a disadvantage
I have played the game for so many hours, I find securing kills boring now. When I started the game years ago, yes I played hard to get that 4k. Now, I don't bother with it especially when I know the team I am up against is not as experienced as I am. It feels like you are bullying them. So, I would genuinely go out of my way to go for 2 hooks on each survivor. That way it is more interesting for me and it kinda indirectly helps the survivors get better. Each one of them is forced to learn how to escape a chase.
My controversial opinion on DBD is that using third party things like Discord for communication and using filters throws the balance of the game WAY off and makes balancing the game even harder for the devs by making them have to consider both Solo Q and SWFs.
I think the kill rate should be compared to difficulty of the killer since early nurses are not that good, like myself, versus a pro playing her would be hardpressed to not get crazy kills
I know this is a hot take but i think that outside communication really does make the game unbalanced. There are in game ways to communicate not just with pointing or “come here” but also perks like kindred for example. Those should be the communication tools. Discord makes it to where the entire team can know where each other and where the killer is at every single point in time among many other things Same thing with scout class in 2v8. I love playing scout and everything but being able to feed the entire team info on the killer’s locations at any point is a bit busted. Almost like old Object
I mean, D&D is not a horror franchise at it's core, only in aspects, but they took the horror aspects and made a chapter around it. That shows that you can make succesful horror chapters based on franchises that aren't.
Tbh with Killers and Skins we have in the game right now I dont really care anymore if a Chapter is Horror or not, I just care how good they feel to play and play agenst
Brightening up maps shouldn't be a thing you can do without the offerings. A bright map can really screw stealth based killers like ghost face and pig especially when they're wearing dark colored clothes.
I’ve got a few licenses that are a little….controversial to a few people 😅 Bioshock The Walking Dead The Last Of Us Twisted Metal The Strangers The Cabin In The Woods and also a few Marvel & DC characters that I think would fit pretty well (Venom, Carnage, Sabertooth, Victor Zsasz, Professor Pyg, Scarecrow, Mad Hatter, etc)
I think of dbd as like smash bros, not because of the licenses but because it's a "casual" game in which you compete with someone else. So at the end of day if people think the game is purely casual that's just not reality in a PVP game, but just because something is competitive doesn't mean you can't just play it casually
Solo q experience should be as close to the swf experience as possible. If it calls for rebalancing so be it, but removing comms is not the answer and is the stupidest thing I've heard... Also, practically all the content fits the game. Rainbow Six Siege didn't, and maybe like one or two others tops
With the whole casual vs competitive thing, I honestly hate how dbd goes about it. There'd be nothing wrong with a casual and rank mode (personally sick of high MMR with the 500 s tier or close killer matches in a row), it'd separate those who for example want to run memey less viable builds (which otherwise just detriments teammates, like a no mither solo q teammate is basically a sign you'll lose miserably lmfao) from those who want to play more competitively or want to have more control over who they play against (a banning system), the way dbd hides the win conditions that basically exist and are the same as Identity V is dumb to me, it makes it feel like as a survivor your own escape is the only one that matters if you want to win and that sort of thing for like no reason. Solo q needs comms of any form, basekit kindred, and the ability to see teammate builds. The game could also benefit from a personal winrate or stats system, match replays, and notifications for how previous matches go. Identity V does all of this btw... dbd mobile does half of it too
I dunno why never got a walking dead crossover for dead by daylight. I mean now it feels almost too late to add someone like Clementine or Lee, or even Rick but other wise I would love to see something like Terminator or Predator to go with Xenomorph. I do want a Werewolf killer at some point.
i feel you can 100% reward hook over kills by using the perk system to reward the killer, give them that boost to actually enjoy going for new survivors. It's also a win for survivors if this did happen as the only thing, they look forward to in dbd is the chase and a break from holding M1. Bbq&Chilli is a great example of this and i feel should bring back the bp rewards up to 4 stacks to keep the incentive going.
A license I’d love to see get added to Dead by Daylight would be either Bray Wyatt’s character “The Fiend” or his brother Bo Dallas’s character “Uncle Howdy”, both from WWE. At the same time though I know for sure that this is a controversial one cuz many will argue that WWE is not horror and having some of its wrestlers as playable characters in the game would be too silly. The thing with this though is that a good number of characters that had scary or creepy gimmicks such as The Undertaker or Kane were some of the most over acts in WWE at one point in time and when Bray Wyatt had his Fiend persona before he passed, he was the most over act in wrestling, just like how now his brother Bo with the Uncle Howdy character is one of the most over acts in wrestling. It’s kind of the same deal as Nicolas Cage. Many say it’s too silly but yet he’s done horror movies before, just like how some may say that WWE is too silly but they’ve had crazy popular horror characters before.
I want to see a Fear & Hunger collab with DBD. Not only in terms of skins, but with proper killer and survs, especially now that the Dungeons & Dragons collab officialized release of multiple characters as a shared surv.
@@XyerDark yeah that's prob what they would do unless if they get rid of the stinger. But I agree funger would be pretty fun. I could imagine Cahara, or possibly even Enki as survs.
I would love to see among us/The Thing make it’s way into DBD. It would be a very controversial IP to add tho. Like, it would have to be its own game mode or something.
Me personally, I prefer going for hooks and even if I could I wouldn’t want filters because they look gross, in all my games which I can use filters, TF 2, and Don’t starve specifically I deliberately use modified huds and cosmetics that would actively make me perform worse compared to others I could use because shit like budhud and more detail mods for tf2 and don’t starve respectively make the game look worse in my opinion, this is also why I don’t have an issue with mods like combined status and cosmetics like the ones which don’t change your clothes to blu when on red
I think "success" states for the killer and the survivors shouldn't be comparable. A survivor should be judged on how well they contribute to everyone escaping, making altruism and repairing most important, but most of all whether or not they managed to escape. Killers on the other hand are required to pressure everyone and can't be judged by kills, or the expectation becomes "Kill as efficiently as possible", which is why everything that allows killers to Mori survivors without hookstates gets nerfed. Killers should be judged by damage. Injuries, hook states, and gens kicked.
When it comes to something like FNAF I think it really depends on what character from the series they want to add. There’s some designs that I think would fit fine with the overall tone of DBD without being too silly, but if they straight up added Freddy Fazbear chasing you with a knife that would be a bit lame and jarring
With the Kill Rate Debate, the reason why a killer like Freddy has such a higher kill rate, is because barely anyone played him, but they still get a high kill rate, making the kill rate higher
Nope wrong !!! Freddy has a high killrates simply because new players try out freddy and new survivors struggle with freddy's lullaby so they get killed easily
For filters, its only really relevant in comp play and, dince 99.99% of players will never get there, its a mute point. Some may use it for advantage, while others cant play the game without it.
The Dark Crystal is a chapter I'd love to see, I think the Skeksis, most notably The Hunter would be a fantastic killer. You could easily tie in the Skeksis desire to live forever and The Entity's Realm
My most out of left field want for a killer collab would be Revenant from Apex Legends, ik Apex sucks rn so people would be mad but he's such a good horror character who gets constantly clowned on in his own franchise. Giving him the chance to truly shine as the terrifying being he is in the lore would be awesome, maybe it could be for an Apex Halloween event so the collab skins make sense. If you're not getting what I mean go watch the Apex Season 4 Cinematic trailer and you'll get what I'm on about.
If Trickster and Skull Merchant would disappear overnight - no one would care. They are badly designed, starting already with the names - and they are both scary or remotely connected to horror.
A character that doesn't really fit dbd, or people would at least get upset about it, but that I want in the game is The Lich King from World of Warcraft, could even just be a legendary skin for the knight. An actual horror crossover I would want would be Fatal Frame tho, not sure who could be added as there are a lot of people but I think it would fit.
For me success is totems. Did I get super gen rushed and only get bronze or ash? Did I do great at everything and get all iri? All I know if I feel like shit when I can't get higher than bronze and I feel amazing when I get all iri
I would love to see Homelander added as a killer. I feel like at this point a superhero themed chapter is inevitable, and I would be shocked if they don’t go the route of The Boys.
I'd love The Boys or Invincible honestly. Both are great, popular stories with great horror elements that could help them work well for DBD, and they already both got into MK1, another violent videogame that puts those characters in very different settings than their normal ones

2. I too gear towards the game being casual. I like being a goofball depending on what character I'm playing.
Thank you for the video. ❤
Imagining Swiper as a killer is pretty funny though.
Wait so Aloy from Horizon has a chance of being in DBD? It's literally my dream survivor
Ok this might sound stupid but if they're not taking from horror exclusively...Death from Puss in Boots 2 would unironically be a good choice. Guy fits the vibe pretty well despite being from a kid's movie.
@@L0ngsword Death I'd argue is horror as death is what horror is a lot about

Little Nightmares would be a sick chapter to get but I don't know if it's controversial. No survivor, cause obviously they would be smaller than Chucky, and either Thin Man or the Teacher as killer.
Just like how they made Attack On Titan characters tiny in comparison but proportionate to scale, they could just make Little Nightmare characters upscaled to a larger size.
And even if they made the kids bigger to fit in it would be freaking weird to have adults-sized kids...
I guess if that ever happened they will just make the LN's kids into kind of cosplay-ish skins for other survivors.
Only kids are small as ants. They still grow into full sized human so they could add grown up Six
There actually already is a little nightmares crossover in a dbd's contender called IdentityV
@@feathero3 I really just don't think it would work though, Six or Mono would just be cosmetics for other survivors
I think the game should just have filter settings available for people on console; they're only "unfair" because they're not available to everyone.
Wanting for BHVR to restrict Discord doesn't even make sense lol
Yeah lmao. Like we can't even play with friends 😂
You can play with friends, just not communicate with them while playing. Not more than the game already allows, and even that has been improved with the last UI update. You have more than enough info to coordinate.
great people wouldn't care as long as you admit you use it for advantages
Dbdm solved the problem by adding vc in the game btw 😏
@@icefoxy3460I think the mobile playerbase gets treated well enough that they can be trusted with VC. The main game is already such a rollercoaster of bugs and insane balancing decisions that people load in pre-tilted lol
Arguing discord should be banned is like arguing that two people playing in the same room should be banned

Complaining about comss with teams is insane, they literally allow you to invite your freind to a game
all this just reminds me how childish the community is
im a firm believer that anyone who sees DBD as a "competitive game" automatically disqualifies their opinions on gaming in general, if you want to sweat or play a game where you need to win to feel better, go play an actual competitive game like COD.
Im also bias tho cause i firmly believe that E-sports has ruined/killed casual gaming. We will never have another "casual" game ever again because someone somewhere will always need to win to have fun and bring the plague of E-sports into whatever it is they're playing
8:13 Azhy, you already know. Portal my beloved
Funny people get upset about graphics filters when _the display screen itself can change it_ Do people forget you can change your monitor's settings?
Some form of tp could be done, but I'm not sure which way it should be
@WeaselArlington they could go legion/aestri way and squish all the characters into one
@gachispy Maybe, but the perks would have to be universal to all 4 characters so that it doesn't seem like 1 is favored or proffered over the others
Do a video about how the boys can fit as a chapter for dbd
Hear me out: Darth Vader belongs in dbd. He’s a psychopathic dictator feared among galaxies. He wields a lightsaber, he has theme music for a terror radius and he has the force for a power/ carrying
Yes. This is good.
He does not fit the definition of a psychopath, but Darth Vader would be cool or even General Grievous
Kinda like lich’s pickup and carry animations, like a force choke
Ngl I could see it and be down with it
A Star Wars collab would be actual peak (I don't even play DBD anymore)
Even Game Afoot tracks chase time to switch obsession
I know it would never happen, based purely on the fact it's not very well known, but I'd love to see a Fear Street chapter (based on the movie trilogy). I would particularly like Ryan Torres/ The Skull Mask or Issac Milton/ The Grifter, I think they would both fit. Ryan if you want another slasher, Issac if you want an extremely strong and tall killer (he's almost 7ft tall lol). It would be so much fun even though it will never happen.
my lil license I’d like to see join dbd that *may* be a little strange. (I dunno, I’ve gotten some comments on it)
But, Little Shop of Horrors.
For the first one I think of it as:
0 or 1 Kill is a loss, 2 kills is a tie, and 3 or 4 kills is a win
Game breaking bug at 6:07. The gens broooo 😭
The hooks v kills debate i believe is settled. As doesn't the game itself count kills for mmr and wins on post game screen.
Instead of hard trying I just play with trapper, proximity camping and traps near the hooked survivor. Works just well and at least I secure 1 kill
as someone who runs bright asf fliters, I respect everyone's option. my reshade is mainly just vibrance and sharpening but alas, as long as someone doesn't value me as less then bc I run them, im fine.
The Hash slinging Slasher could come in a Bikini Bottom Chapter for April Fools Day
It'd actually be a pretty funny skin for Meyers
I think DBD is a really fun casual game but as soon as you get competitive the asymmetrical nature of the game really begins to highlight balance issues.
I wish they’d make 2 categories. 1 ranked w perks and 1 w casual
You should make a video about which basic attacks from which killers would be the most painful (hillbilly hits you with a hammer, myers stabs you, nemesis punches you exc.)
The way I see it is that kills means wins but more hooks means more points.. I guess it all depends on what you care about the most.. kills or points
I think people are debating over anything in this game, even the slightest thing and thus they tend to forget to actualy ENJOY the game.
Personally, i would think Catherine would be fun chapter. Idk how the killer would work or be, but i can see it being a survivor only chapter.
This
I desperately want a parasite eve chapter, I think the museum or central Park would be a better map for DBD.
Hooks being a win con is a no Brainer. Anyone who actually plays killer knows this.
A weird license id love to see is a Killing Floor crossover.
You have such a vast array of both operatives and bosses that would GREATLY fit into the game, although id fret that Nemesis would be a similarly compared to killer.
i think that if i had fun, i won
Regarding controversial fitting content: I recently had the idea of Walter White from Breaking Bad as a survivor come through my head. Would it fit the Horror theme? Not at all. Would it provide good perks, voice lines, costumes, and a story blurb of the Entity taking him at the last second, kind of like as an eternal punishment? Honestly, I feel like the community might be ok with something like that.
That first sentence is one of the most insane things I’ve read recently but ngl you convinced me. Lalo as a killer would be funny
Nah man, if Naughty Bear gets in Freddy and the Gang should be allowed in too. BHVR have created that situation themselves.
Another controversial debate is whether survivor or killer is more overtuned
I really wish they'd add brightness sliders to the game. the stages are purely random on if I can actually see anything or not.
Yeah, brightness and colorblind subs would be nice.
I honestly think a Coraline licence would be great to add to the game, especially with it coming back lately

It makes it easier fir killers to locate survivors, give them kind of a secondary objective if they want to hide all items in corners and its perfectly counterable (my fav thing rn is to brinf object and hope killer has weave it makes chases rlly funny)
i would like to see Hotline Miami in the game as a chapter. it may be controversial because jacket would be hard to implement.
His chase and menu music would go hard.
@@latrodectahespara2728 Hell. Yes. Anything but becoming another Legion skin.
@@YillanTheVillain That is the more likely outcome, huh?
I'd be down for some Fans skins for Legion, though, if a full chapter happened.
There should be an in-game way to communicate between survivors.
Discord makes it to where the entire team can know where each other and where the killer is at every single point in time among many other things
Same thing with scout class in 2v8.
Idk if controversial but I really wanna see House On Haunted Hill(1999) as a chapter
I’ve got a few licenses that are a little….controversial to a few people 😅
Bioshock
The Walking Dead
The Last Of Us
Twisted Metal
The Strangers
The Cabin In The Woods
and also a few Marvel & DC characters that I think would fit pretty well (Venom, Carnage, Sabertooth, Victor Zsasz, Professor Pyg, Scarecrow, Mad Hatter, etc)
Those first four sound fine to me as mid chapters (K/S/S/K). I’d love a Rapture map
you know its a good day when AZHYMOVS

Identity V does all of this btw... dbd mobile does half of it too
A license that I would like to see is Outlast or Amnesia. As for an original chapter some kind of Pirate killer.
I dunno why never got a walking dead crossover for dead by daylight. I mean now it feels almost too late to add someone like Clementine or Lee, or even Rick but other wise I would love to see something like Terminator or Predator to go with Xenomorph. I do want a Werewolf killer at some point.
For hooks vs kills, I base the win off the kills but general performance by hooks. Like I would be okay with a 1-2k with 6-8 hooks.
i feel you can 100% reward hook over kills by using the perk system to reward the killer, give them that boost to actually enjoy going for new survivors.
A couple licenses id like to see is dead space, bioshock and for a controversial/weird picks borderlands or dc comics
Why did they bother creating four points categories if they don't train their matchmaking on it
I want to see a Fear & Hunger collab with DBD.

Sorry to point out but, at 6:00 you got the glitch with the gens.
Well what about getting 4 kills and 0 hooks? It’s a win, but mentally it’s a loss
Me When Homelander Appears In DBD: "Oh duck! That was Diabolical!"
I'd love The Boys or Invincible honestly. Both are great, popular stories with great horror elements that could help them work well for DBD, and they already both got into MK1, another violent videogame that puts those characters in very different settings than their normal ones
i wanna see devs doing something about hackers
