The amount of equipment and variety of equipment used in your operations is almost overwhelming. Every cat seems to be skun in a multitude of ways. No bin..no worries. Can't combine, swath it. No power..get generator. No water..build a lake. lol merry Christmas
It's what us farmers do. Bypass what we can. There's a fine line between keeping the operation going and saving money.

Camera mounted to auger tube and monitor in tractor works great, can load by self with truck parked opposite direction with no or very little moving required depending on the product weight!

should put a camera on the top of the spout a wide angle n run it to a monitor in the cab on a mount that can swivel to face out the back hatch

A Friend imported an ex-Kenworth Prime mover from Australia that had Dual High Volume Air Systems on it for extended Length (Road Trains) asked could you hook up 2 Leads and a Rear Trailer (which is what it pulled previously) for just moving Trailers around the Yard to put them in the Shop, etc. The Wilson rep looked at us funny and said no, NO, definitely would void your Warranty! And he was like there wouldn’t be enough Air to release the Brakes anyway. Said that wouldn’t be an issue with the Air System on the Truck. 😏😂

Ya might wanna demo a Tridekon Grain Boss , I rented one this fall and it seems to have a few perks over the Akron system. Little more complicated, but one guy can load a truck from the ground. the wheels are steerable and have they're own hydraulic drives, the auger is a swing, and the bag flows through, so you never need to stop on a long bag. loaded a tandem in 8 min, no issues. first try. Merry Christmas, Happy farming
We have a Brandt, identical to the Akron but no pusher. I can load a truck by myself with it. All I did was add a camera up on the auger tube and a monitor in the tractor (dirt cheap backup camera system from crappy tire). If you park the truck in the right spot and pointed in the opposite direction you can load without having to move it aside from moving for the next trailer.
why not install a camera near the discharge Shute ?

Merry Christmas to you all. I was thinking, why not have a wireless camera sitting on the auger so you can follow the loading. The camera could be connected to one or two monitors so both you and the truckdriver also could follow the loading.

How much weight goes into these two trailers combined ? It depends on the grain and the moisture content, but on this particular application for example ?
I know that there would be one back up alarm disconnected on the Fendt, Don't need that noise.
When the bag is empty how much work is it to get the old bag off the rollers
Merry Christmas Mike. I have a question - in SK I remember you said after a certain date or upon a certain cold weather, you can run a heavier tractor/trailer combination. At any time can you run a tripple trailer?
Only way you see those setups is highway van trailers and they are just shorty trailers like 20ft trailers and you need special permits and supposed to only run them at night, any longer and no or Atleast western Canada does not recognize that configuration as it exceeds the legit length limit
Could you possibly put those bags indoors to keep them from getting covered in snow ? Just an idea.

You would get used to a go pro man. And if you did the chest strap you could have both hands free and prob enjoy making vids even more. But you do a great job with your phone so I get it man. Why change what's working right

Roll them up and drop them off at a recycling depot. I have done videos of this in the past, thanks for the question. 🙂

Could you fill into a grain cart then fill the trucks from that while the bagger keeps going you won’t have to stop the bagger just load the cart on the right and load truck from the left that way you don’t have to worry about overloading trucks or trucks waiting because the cart can load trucks faster I know it takes another person but could it speed up things
They do that at the South farm when they have hundreds of bags to pick up.
We make like you say in Argentina because we cant drive in any way overloading, several tickets
Why don't you mount a camara on the spout so that it becomes easy to see ehen you are almost fully loaded.

Don't u wish the auger arm was longer
Is there a reason why bag extractors don't have the auger on the other side so a semi can be driven forward while loading and still load on the non tarp side ?
That’s because us Aussie truck drivers need an advantage over your left hand drive trucks lol
With the Tridekon Grain Boss as another commenter mentioned you could do that as the auger can swing 360 deg.
That was a joke mate. We are right hand drive here in Australia

You need to do another mustard video because it is still confusing. If I buy mustard seeds in the supermarket will it turn into the mustard field you showed us, or will it just turn into green leafy chinese mustard greens or are they just the same?
On them super b's them short lookin boxes is each one of them the same as a longer trailer down here in the states , so is it like having 2 of our trailers behind 1 truck , is it the same as having 2 of our size loads with only 1 tractor on the road
Pretty much. Depends on the axle weights allowed in the area. Doubles are used in some states.
@@EFCasual I know that part bout the weight and doubles used here I'm just wondering with them bein as short can they haul as much as the longer trailers I mean I understand because it's less costly because only 1 truck but in the long run would it not be a little better with say four tractors and 4 longer trailers haulin more then the same as 2 tractors with 2 shorter double trailers I guess I'm just sayin will 2 sets of them super b doubles haul less or more or even the same as 4 of the longer trailers used here

@@EFCasual thanks man it is hard to tell on camera I'd like to see Mike do a side by side with a set of super B doubles and maybe 2 Demco Hooper bottoms and just show the differences in the load capacity of them if it is even any different
