Hey Phil, actually it's quite nice to play, there are just a few bars which demand a bit more concentration. But for sure you know what I mean when I say the easier to play, the higher the ambition to make each note sound beautiful, and sometimes it's easier to criticize than to be happy with your achievements... So, enjoy learning this beautiful piece, it's totally worth it! Btw, check out the version by Brandon Acker to see which approach works better for you. There are some very beautiful and guitarristic moments in his version, but I tried to stick to the original piano version as much as possible...
I stumbled on Brandon's video many years ago and it made my want to learn it back then. Yes, the harmonics in his recording give it a nice touch too. Sometimes I don't have the patience to learn the slower pieces though 😅. But this one would be a good way for me to focus on playing clean and subdued.

An interesting composition. It's difficult for my groove based brain to predict where it's going. This was a piano song originally, right? Fantastic arrangement and excellent performance! 👍👍

I think the most challenging part is to make the melody line sound beautiful and legato in bar 34 to 37. You might wanna listen to the original piano version, and compare Brandon Acker's arrangement to mine so you can decide for your self which version feels best for you, or just create your own version by combining both versions. Sí, es correcto, me costó un poco decidirme, ya que existen varias grabaciones muy buenas de otros guitarristas y me estaba comparando con ellos. Si no fuera por eso, tal vez estaría más contento con mi interpretación, que, por cierto, es bastante acceptable. Igual estoy lloriqueando a un alto nivel, jajaja... 😜 Te doy las gracias por tus palabras, Hugo, significan mucho para mí!

I’ll have a look at it, Luuu. I’ve got a few ten year old videos that I’d like to revisit, but then I’ve got others that I could no longer get near!
