    a calm opening - the first movement is so introspective wow the second movement just explodes - you certaily bring out the contrast between the 2 Matvey. Oh the third movement Beethoven at his very finest and you capture that. Your playing is always so considered dear young friend. You don't hold back on the final movement - Beethoven makes huge demands and you handel them with skill. Your playing is always so disciplined always musical- never theatrical. Fire , calm and light - I heard Barenboim play in Sydney in the 1960's keep going as you are you will leave a legacy like he has. Best wishes your old Australian/Scottish friend.
