I love that company! I wish more manufacturers would think outside the box and find new ways of doing things instead of the same cookie cutter approach.
Every time I go to Europe, I love going to the construction sites because they have such different equipment compared to the stuff here in the US. Glad to see its finally making its way over here. As we get denser, these will be so much more useful compared to the US made stuff until they catch on, which will probably be too late.
There is a guy on Twitch that shows his daily jobs with a machine like this... I watch him every once in a while and he does some good work. I think he is either Dutch or German.
Very cool design really is one thing exactly what you said it’s not going to outwork a dedicated mini excavator or a wheel loader or even a skid steer rubber track or tired, but it does everything at 50% so for the guy that needs all of them doing hard scape getting the stuff into the backyard it would be awesome
I used to be skeptical of these. But im slowly realizing its not made for everyone.. like this would never work for me. But im seeing how it could definitely help other guys in different feilds.
I am more of a fan of the Mecalac 6MCR and the 7MWR, especially with the wide grading bucket that they use in the Netherlands. These are nice machines to replace the mini loader and mini excavator. This is a nice machine for small road construction projects and construction of larger ones. the garden
You should have asked him if you could operate it for a bit. It would sure help your viewers knowing what kind of learning curve is required for such a versatile piece of equipment. Just say'in.
It doesn't though , it's like a backhoe it's a jack of all trades but a master of none !!! Thats the problem with exotic machines people think it will replace all kinds of other equipment too and it doesn't
Stan I've been watching ya for years. Thanks for all the hard work and dedication it takes to crank out the quality content like you do. This question has nothing to do with this video. I've got a Takeuchi Tb 240 it's about 8500lbs. Conventional tail swing single flow hydraulics. I'm getting ready to buy a grapple from cmp. Olaf reccomends the 102 it's approx 800 lbs. I'll have the electronic momentary diverter since my machine is single flow. I've seen yall running one for years on that Daewoo. Any tips or thoughts before I pull the trigger. Thanks -Warren
I can see this being immensely useful for farms and small industrial operations. It may not be affordable enough for the smaller business though. Convenient by only needing to maintain 1 piece of equipment but utilitarian enough to solve multiple roles. 300ishK MAY be justified for medium to large operations. I honestly could use something like that as a homeowner with property and a lake. BUT, no way could I spend that much on something used a couple times a month sadly. If i could find one used for around 150K, I could justify that.
Í was looking at this, or rather the electric version, from the short' a while back - very impressive machine but, dear lord mama, it's expensive for a small operator. That said, I think it would also be a very sound purchase, with either power option, as on top of everything else, the machine would be earning almost constantly, rather than being parked up waiting until it was needed, and transporting the other machines is also a financial, and time, expense that's avoided.
I did see one near me but didn't see it in action. Im from Central Mass so maybe that's why. I would have like to see you try it Stan lot's of people respect your unbiased thoughts.
I saw on of those in Arlington Ma a few months ago doing some road work. I wonder if it was the exact same machine.... Arlington is only 5 miles outside of Boston
The MCR models have a bucket with support from the blade to avoid the twisting force on the boom, is that possible on this machine as well? With a blade mounted then instead of the supports…
We try to have at least one one every job site we run mwr11 and mcr10 we have had them with rail gear for high rail and now we just picked up a couple more 11s with steel wrists on them they are a very useful tool to have but like you said they are good at everything they do but not as good as a dedicated mini ex or a loader or a skid steer but we love them we have I think it’s 8 or 9 of them and we do use them on site jobs and road jobs
I like these new mecalacs. I would like to get 3 mecalacs and replace 6 piecees of eequiptmeent. i undeerstand they make a undeerrtakeers version as well . get a tracked reemotee control dump traileer/robot so you can fill the trailer and havee it drivee itseelf to dump and comee back. now i just want a machinee with 2 seats. i usee my cab as an office , training , and demonstration forr clients, your swamper. the eeuropeon eequiptment is getting more reliable. and a lot moree uses and better ideas to geet a job done. likee my kids gaming keyboard that i cant type on.😁
I would like to see this machine Out D I g. A John Deere back home same weight class. I don't think the boom is strong enough. Can it run a snowblower Or AV plow.❤😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I went to the website and looked at the Contact page. They have Contacts in France, Germany, UK and Turkiye (Turkey?). But, what I want to know is where did the company start? Is it French, German, English or Turkish?
I wanted to say a lot from the beginning of this video but I had to watch the whole thing to realize they have been around for a while and they should be bigger but they are not because they are to a specific kind customer. But I got to give them this you would not take a Swiss army knife to a knife fight unless that is all had but you couldn't use a buck knife to start a fire get a splinter out of your finger put a new notch in your belt because you're getting thinner😂 cut your meet in a second later fork it to your mouth eat that soup when it gets really cold out side everybody wants a buck knife cuz it looks cool on your side but everybody really wants a Swiss army knife if they're going to try to survive not a bad piece of equipment. Does it come in EV😂😂
not when the utility workers get paid by the hour, they milk every penny out of a job. one guy in the hole digging, six guys on top watching and one guy asleep in the excavator.
Lmao a new Drott excavator basically what a joke they died out in the 80s for a reason last time I seen on out on a road working was in early 2000s haven't since for a good reason you can only work off of one side a regular new style wheel excavator will out operate that all day and even towns are fading away from backhoes and just getting wheeled excavators they're too slow at everything they do no one buys a one machine option anymore because of this
I love that company! I wish more manufacturers would think outside the box and find new ways of doing things instead of the same cookie cutter approach.

same here!
There's also an electric version, that could make it even more viable as noise concerns increase in residential areas.
indeed we do. yet still love the mecalac brand. hopefully we get one soon. especcially the 11mwr
There is a guy on Twitch that shows his daily jobs with a machine like this... I watch him every once in a while and he does some good work. I think he is either Dutch or German.
Finland
Maybe Renkivain? He is on TH-cam..
How big of snow bucket can she handle Stan?? What a unit hoping you get to demo…we need more Mecalac

This machine is very popular in the railroad world. 7:53 they have the ones with rail wheels and they can do all kinds of maintenance
Stan, I'm freaking blown away! WOW!
My friend works for the city water department. I can see this working better than the backhoe they have.
I operate a city organic recycling compound. This machine would be a game changer. I currently use a loader and excavator.
I used to be skeptical of these. But im slowly realizing its not made for everyone.. like this would never work for me. But im seeing how it could definitely help other guys in different feilds.
Working for years in scotland, burying and maintaining untilities, in the street, this would have made my life a lot easier.
I like the way the hydraulics sound. Not so whiny and loud like a lot of others.
I don’t even run heavy equipment for a living headed to plain to see how valuable the thing is I would love to have one

That machine is phenomenal.
Mecalac makes a heck of a machine as far as excavators go but they sure come with a hefty price tag too!!! Another great video stan
I disagree, If you factor in a machine that performs the job of multiple machines then the Mecalac is less expensive.
It doesn't though , it's like a backhoe it's a jack of all trades but a master of none !!! Thats the problem with exotic machines people think it will replace all kinds of other equipment too and it doesn't
The coolest thing I have never seen 😎 And it has been around since 1974 when I was born ! 👍

could do a lot with that... if that thing had a 3 point tractor hitch it would truly be the do all and used all over...
Now I wonder how effective would it be for a homesteader/homeowners?
From what I have seen on the V-Belt and son channel the Mecalac they have is a fantastic machine.
Í was looking at this, or rather the electric version, from the short' a while back - very impressive machine but, dear lord mama, it's expensive for a small operator.

Very nice machine Stan.
Those are awesome machines could of been here in North America soon
Would like to see more on them and are you buying 1 of them
Nice one Stan. 👍👍🏴🏴
This thing is amazing!
Excellent video Stanley. My problem is I don't know who is the dealer in western Alberta, Canada.
Thank you for your videos.
Interesting reportage again of course!
Been looking at this brand for years. I need an 8 MCR high flow. I can't buy one in TX. Mecalac needs to send some love down south.
I’m going to show this video at work we need this
Wonderful unit
Wyjątkowa maszyna 😊
I did see one near me but didn't see it in action. Im from Central Mass so maybe that's why.
I would have like to see you try it Stan lot's of people respect your unbiased thoughts.
The dot using these machines here and its amazing to see it work
This is crazy!
and then fit a Engcon Tiltrotator & a whole new universe is opened
Very impressive, I'm in love all over again!
That machine is wild! Hope you are well! Had the first snow event today. Was pointless but alas, it was an event😂
I would love spend a few days using this machine
Now I like that machine, I wonder how it would plow snow
www.youtube.com/@rasmushammarlof1164
good luck getting parts if and when it breaks down.
19,000 lb machine, 9000 pound trailer, 8500 lb 3500+ series dually pickup. You are in CDL land my friend.
Nice, would fun to play with 😁
Sounds like you need one! LOL
Very interesting
I saw on of those in Arlington Ma a few months ago doing some road work. I wonder if it was the exact same machine.... Arlington is only 5 miles outside of Boston
Hey Stan, wish I know that you were in Norfolk ma. I would have come and meet you.
Wait! It can suck diesel out if a jerry can! Thats amazing
Handy machine
The boom side doesnt matter. The machine was designed in eroupe not the states.
Does it have a telescopic attachment for lifting like the Manitou?
It looks like a loader and excavator made a baby 😂 still a cool pice of equipment

put that to work on the dairy farm... some nice
Build the dealer network, I don't want to have to go out of state for any issues when I have Kubota 5 min away...
The big problem I have with videos like this is that they don't say how much they cost.
So Stan when is your machine going to show up
I need 10 of these. I don't know where to buy.
I like these new mecalacs. What is the price of this.

here to help
$300k plus from what I see online it costs
14:42 not to hate but that’s not going to work because the pump Boggs the engine down slowing down all the other pumps
Looks great from here. When it does break down you lose 3 machines instead of one.
not when the utility workers get paid by the hour, they milk every penny out of a job. one guy in the hole digging, six guys on top watching and one guy asleep in the excavator.
How about we should call it a loader lift
Lmao a new Drott excavator basically what a joke they died out in the 80s for a reason last time I seen on out on a road working was in early 2000s haven't since for a good reason you can only work off of one side a regular new style wheel excavator will out operate that all day and even towns are fading away from backhoes and just getting wheeled excavators they're too slow at everything they do no one buys a one machine option anymore because of this
SWISS ARMY KNIFE
It reminds me of what the rail companies like getting ahold of now here, a machine called a Huddig.b
